Most of us struggle with negativity now and then. For most, it's a temporary thing that may come and go in response to life events. For others it may be a chronic condition. Due to my own struggle with it, I decided to post some suggestions for dealing with it. In minor cases, simply adjusting your world view a bit and cleansing can be enough. But for those struggling with serious issues, it can take a whole lot more to heal yourself. Negative thoughts and the negative energy out put caused by them can have a major impact. Not only can this build up in your energy body cause blocked or weakened chakras, but the ultimate result can be ill health. If you're already dealing with health issues, it's important to address both the physical and psychological. Some Simple Basics: Sometimes simple things can be the most effective. Whether you're dealing with major depression, a passing mood or chronic negativity, these can be at least a good starting point. But if your condition is more serious, it will require more serious efforts to correct it. Either way, these are a good place to start. Diet and Water - Drinking plenty of water and eating healthy are often recommended for dealing with a number of issues and is always a good place to start. Neglecting proper hydration and eating unhealthy foods can not only have an adverse effect on your physical health but can also have an adverse effect on psychological well-being. Start slowly. Don't try to change too much too quickly or you might be overwhelmed. Making small changes to your diet each week and learning to make water a part of your daily routine is the best way to go. Regular Cleansing - Even simple cleansing routines can make a difference. But they need to be done on a regular basis. Adopt cleansing routines you feel most comfortable with that match your cleansing needs. Positive Affirmations - Most of us probably don't use affirmations. Some of us feel silly doing them. But if you can find a way to incorporate them into your daily routine, positive affirmations can help to heal us on a psychological level and promote positive energy vibrations. The Power of Laughter - This is an often overlooked and greatly beneficial option to healing both the physical and energy bodies. Even fifteen minutes per day of heart-felt laughter can have beneficial affects. Making this a regular part of your routine can have cumulative effects. Watch a comedy. Listen to a stand-up comedian. Read something funny. No matter the source, it's the mood that creates the positive energy that helps in healing. Advanced Healing: In order for advanced healing techniques to be fully effective, you need to also implement more basic routines such as those detailed above. Advanced techniques are simply offered in addition to those. Either basic or advanced routines used without the benefit of the other will have similarly limited results. Using both in conjunction will reap the greatest benefits. But these are not all there are. I encourage you to seek out additional methods and add them here for everyone to use. Intensive Energy Cleansing - This would involve any cleansing ritual which utilizes intense focus, visualization or use of specific herbs, oils or other draws along with oral spellwork. You may already use an intensive cleansing routine on a regular basis and this is perfectly fine. A couple things that can have an especially strong affect on cleansing routines are lemon and salt. Regardless of the ritual, focused visualization is key to an effective ritual. Chakra Work - Healthy chakra function is important to both energy flow and physical health. Working with your chakras to remove blockages, align and activate them can go a long way to support healing efforts. But remember that proper function of any one chakra depends on proper function of any lower chakras as well. The third eye cannot fully function without proper function to the throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral and root... Proper function of the heart chakra requires proper function in the solar plexus, sacral and root. Memorizing the order, color and location of each chakra is a good start since visualization won't be interrupted by trying to remember which one is next. There are other things I need to add to this.
