When going for my annual health check I was asked what I do for exercise. I said gardening, housework and walking ~ and nothing else.

The reply was "Thats OK! it's enough."

But what do you do to keep healthy?

I'm too lazy for walking, but when I'm in the right mood I get my bicycle out.

I've heard that before Petra, about housework and gardening.

I go to Silver Sneakers at the YMCA. It is a program for seniors. I do have some arthritis in my wrists and fingers, so it is hard sometimes to even lift the 1 lb weights. There is no pressure to do more than you can.

That sounds good Nancy. Sue you walk your dogs a lot, that counts.

I have a recumbent exercise bike set up in rec room. I pedal every night for a 1/2 hour while watching the news. In summer, I usually walk up through the mall and back home, a total of about four blocks. Not enough but I'm getting awfully lazy. Besides, lawn mowing and yard care are exercise. Sometimes, in winter, I can get up the ambition to snowshoe up the greenbelt behind the house but I only did it once this winter. My big easy chair is just too easy! :cup
