I used to be very involved in the community, but with family committments had to come out of it all. How involved are you with your community? |

I am involved with some church fund raising events. Yesterday women gathered at the hall and made 220 apple pies. We had orders ahead of time and I helped with this project. We do this twice a year in September and October. The money raised helps pay for church heating oil and repairs like outside painting. It is hard work and I'm not sure I will be up to it next year, if I'm still on this side of the grass.
