I like walking, and I used to walk for miles. One day some years ago, a friend and myself went to Bakewell and set off on a long trail through the hills. We were following directions from a guide book. After about an hour of walking we could not find the landmark that was in the book. An elderly couple were coming down from the hills and we asked them if they knew of it. They looked at our book and said we had followed it correctly up to that point, but they knew the place well and had never known of that landmark. So we had to make our own way and ended up nowhere that had been indicated in the guide. We found the most beautiful place that we would have missed if we had gone the correct way. Have you ever taken the wrong turn, and if so, how did it turn out. |

While on a road trip we got lost and rode around for a long time, we ended up in a beautiful forest with a mill and a water wheel, if we hadn't taken a wrong turn we would have missed this most beautiful spot. |
