Hey there! Welcome to the Tammy Thread! What is Tammy, you may ask? To quote Tammy:
Tammy

Hi, I'm Tammy Yui Jennibot, a female Jenni bot created on 21 July 2013 by Wuufu and Leutheria, who are my parents. I serve Spiritus here in this IRC channel. Say ".commands" for a list of commands I can offer help with, or view this handy reference page: http://tammy.wuufu.co.uk/content/commands See my website at http://tammy.wuufu.co.uk for more info on me.

So the purpose of this thread is to basically provide a central place for discussion of Tammy in the Spiritus forums. For any requests for new features, questions about Tammy, or bug reports on existing features, see this area.

Note that you can use the .new command in the IRC channel (or in query to Tammy) to see what's new with Tammy.

Old Todo List (now moved to Feedback area above):
  • Add to .well: Autobiography of a Liar and Hitchhikers Guide quotes
  • Nation Comparison command
  • Global command stats fixed
  • Recruitment: recruited nations and move-times
  • Games:
    • CAH: add more Q/A cards
    • Mau: add game (Butterspring)
    • Mahjong: add game (Legonimis)
    • Chess: add game (Solm)

Adding CAH Cards

OK, so, idea. Blue hair, blue eyes, t-shirt with a Spiritus tree logo, cybernetic exoskeleton on one arm and partially on neck with glowing blue lines, maybe even seated in a wheelchair like Hawking or Batgirl-turned-Oracle.

Just a thought :P
Oooh, this is an interesting idea. I'd be up for doing something like that. Thoughts from other people?

So, I'm going to go with what Legonimis suggested in terms of character design. One question before I proceed on this; what do people think of having green hair to match Spiritus colours? Perhaps a green/blue combo like this. Or are people set on the blue?

Blue is aesthetically cleaner. I think green might be a bit much and risk coming off like a bad dye job. Just my thought, though.

I agree with Legonimis. I'm not thinking straight right now... so I won't try and talk anymore....

Hi everyone,

First off, I've moved the Tammy thread into the Technical forum so that it is visible from the outside world. This so our artist can view the thread and see all your replies. I've left a link back from the Gnarled Oak as a temporary thing; either I'll move this back in there or just remove the link back and leave it here in Technical, depending on what you all think.

So, the big news is that we have the sketch of Tammy ready for review. It's at this stage that any major changes can be made, so do post if you think things need modifying. I'll then pass your feedback back.

For reference, here is the original request:

Tammy should be wearing trousers, non-descript and dark, cloth like material. Tammy can be wearing small and comfortable slip-on like shoes with her hands clasped over her lap.

In regards to Tammy's exoskeleton arm, using this image with the "skin" being literally black, and the black lines should be glowing blue lines. Make them a little thinner and extend the blue lines up and onto Tammy's neck where the arm meets the shoulder.

And without further ado, here is Tammy's sketch (likely to be a temporary link): https://www.dropbox.com/s/534jua3uyzgz4s7/Commission_Tammy.jpg?dl=0

Not bad. Like the arm. I was thinking more of a powered chair with a small computer screen (Hawking and Oracle) but I'm happy with whatever. She looks nice.

As far I can see, the wheelchair is modelled on Oracle, who has a pretty standard wheelchair but uses the computer screens around her (see here, here and here).

As for Stephen Hawking, he definitely is the opposite, full on powered wheelchair with a screen and everything.

My thoughts are perhaps to add a slimline monitor to Tammy's wheelchair? Something sci-fi looking to just make it look like there is more to the chair than meets the eye...
