Oh yes! I love zombie apocalypses. Always think of World War Z (the book) whenever it happens. I have around 155 zombies, though it's fluctuating between that and 154 million. Hopefully most TSPers will research and the infection will decrease. Put Thriller on YouTube to get in the mood.

There is an "emotional but totally necessary" commentary on activity and team work in The South Pacific to come. In the meantime, comments on the Apocalypse and how Spiritus handled it? |

The Apocalypse was awesome. I think we actually got the zombies completely gone. Both of my +1 billion nations had everyone cured and no dead, so that's good.

Here's the "emotional but totally necessary" commentary that I mentioned a couple of days before. Coalition of The South Pacific From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs IM PROUD TO BE A SOUTH PACIFICAN I'm proud to be a citizen of The South Pacific. I reside in the second largest democracy in NationStates and am the chief diplomat of a government that listens to its citizens and gives them all the opportunities to thrive and not to be arbitrarily ejected or otherwise abused. Ever since Milograd's coup I've fought against exclusion and was one of the main proponents of a reformed Bill of Rights. I worked with Escade as Deputy Minister of Regional Affairs to bring government closer to the People and to engage citizens and make them interested in our regional affairs. However, up until the recent Zombie Apocalypse I hadn't yet understood the full potential that nations in my home region, and how we could work together towards a common goal. The first few minutes were confusing, and several nations didn't even know that superweapons existed. Soon enough, however, nations like Drugged Monkeys organised curing efforts and led our fellow residents into curing large nations in order to decrease the number of zombies. These efforts were continued by Escade and Theorin, among many others, who posted on the RMB lists of nations that needed curing or horders that needed killing. We all focused on listed nations, and our combined efforts managed to reduce our infection rates to the point that we finally became 22nd on the list of regions with most survivors, discovered potential antibodies, and less than half of our population was infected. Now, what is my point here? We are a team. Without official government support we rallied and fought together against a common thread. Several nations that hadn't participated in a long time we active again and we did not distinguish between large or small nations, young or old, resident or citizen. This proved the great potential we have should we choose to be a more active and engaged region, and now that we know that we will work even harder to make it happen. Like I said...We were strong. We were united. We were a team. We are The South Pacific! Wow, that I didn't expect! I don't know if I actually want to be Delegate but I sure appreciate the sentiment. Anyway, every word I wrote is true: TSP is a great team and I'm so glad to be a part of it.
