Thanks to you all guys! Well I haven't actually checked out all the sub forums yet, Winter, but so far you all seem to be quite friendly, so I have a good image of Spiritus so far.

I'm glad to hear it! Just so you know, ambassadors should have access to the common areas of the forum, in case you get bored or anything. Not that that seems likely. ![]() Out of curiosity, how are things in TSP with school starting and people having less time for NS? |

Coalition of The South Pacific From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs TSP RMB and Forum Wintermoot raised an interesting question about how were things going in TSP how that school has begun. The answer depends on where we look: either the RMB or the Forum. If we look at the RMB, then definitely is has seen more activity in the past, though it does have the occasional fun and interesting posts from a series of our residents. What doesn't change with the seasons are the World Alliance recruitment posts, which seemed endless due to the fact that the recruiting nation had resided in our region for 37 days without intention of leaving before Belschaft banned it four hours ago. Still, with just 9 posts today our RMB has seem better days, which will for sure return soon enough due to the hard work of [nation]Escade[/nation], our Minister of Regional Affairs. If we refer to the Forum, it has had increased activity in recent days, with some OOC and Assembly discussions being the most frequented by our citizens. Recent discussions include the OOC threads 'Change a Word' and 'Christian Discussion', with the Assembly now discussing reforms to citizenship requirements and engagement in government, to promote the interest and contribution of new citizens to the region, and there is also a discussion on some minor reforms to those parts of the Code of Laws that deal with elections. So how is activity in The South Pacific now that school has started? We are doing fine. Sometimes we have less activity and sometimes we have more activity, but overall I think that our most dedicated citizens always find at least some time to post and contribute with whatever they can, and so far I think we are doing great! |

Thanks for the very official response. ![]() I've noticed about the same here in Spiritus...our forum activity seems to be stable, but RMB and IRC activity levels seem to be down at times. Still it's all rather unnerving...especially with the recruitment competition now. At least TSP doesn't have to worry about that I guess.

True, we don't have to worry about recruitment...though in a way we have to worry about keeping new nations interested. That has raised several discussions about our welcoming committee and introducing some kind of civil service. |

Coalition of The South Pacific From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Assembly votes on Article 5 Amendment The Article 5 Amendment is being voted on by the Assembly of The South Pacific. This amendment, which is part of Belschaft's campaign platform, would extent Cabinet membership to all Deputy Ministers and give less experienced but equally eager citizens a voice in the leadership of the executive branch. This is being done as part of a broader effort to promote engagement and inclusion in our region and its passage would be a step closer towards a better TSP. Debates on this amendment focused on whether the Chief Justice and the Editor-in-Chief of the South Pacific Independent News Network should be include as well as non voting members of the Cabinet, with several citizens arguing that it was not the place of the head of the judiciary and of an independent news service to partake in executive discussions. The role of the Chief Justice with respect to the Cabinet and the Assembly will be reviewed in a future judicial reform that Belschaft and Chair of the Assembly Sandaoguo will propose. |
