Southern Bellz proposed this in June, with Kringalia and Sandaoguo contributing with the framework text that various citizens helped amend. Vice Delegate Rebel-topia, among others, was confused by the votes against, “all by those not participating in the discussion. If you have a problem with something, don’t wait until the vote to voice it!”. Still it surpassed the 75% needed to amend the Charter. Thanks to Southern Bellz, Kringalia, Hileville, Rebel-topia, Sandaoguo, Belschaft, W3 Rulez and several others. You all made this possible! The debate can be found here: Bill of Rights Debate CONTROVERSY OVER FLEMINGOVIAN INCIDENT On September 7 residents of The South Pacific found out that Belschaft had changed the WFE to a curious shade of purple and pink and declared himself Emperor of a joint Flemingovian Empire with Osiris in what appeared to be an inside joke between some citizens of The North Pacific and Osiris. Soon enough former Vice Delegate HEM called on the Delegate to explain himself, with one citizen arguing that “this wasn’t the best time to surprise NS Gameplay with another coup. Especially when this has so many similarities to the coups in the past few months”. Belschaft in the end reinstated the regular WFE but countered that he was “looking for an willing to try new and sometimes drastic methods to get people involved in TSP to a greater degree”. ![]() SPINN REVAMP FOLLOWS FORUM CHANGES Hileville announced a revamp of the South Pacific Independent News Network on September 4th, putting an end to its dormant state since the beginning of June. The last articles were about the disbanding of SovCon and elections in The South Pacific. SPINN has now released two articles, one announcing the revamp and the other one reporting on the discussions on the Felimngovian incident. Recent changes to the Forum were also made, with contributions from several citizens, to make it more accessible. Changes include the removal of the information box at the top, the disappearance of the Twitter blocks due to most citizens seldom tweeting and some forums changing their location, the Lampshade Bar & Grill going to the International Airport and a new Media District being created at Downtown South Pacific for SPINN and other news outlets. The discussion can be found here: Forum Layout Discussion BELSCHAFT CALLS A FLAG CONTEST On August 28 our Delegate called a Flag Contest to decide which would be the new flag of The South Pacific and encouraged all citizens to submit their own designs, subject to some conditions like the size of the flag, it having to be appropriate for a PG-13 audience and being an original design. So far the ones submitting their designs are Belschaft, Yy4u, Tsrill, Palma Marina Riviera, Mizay, Alv, Sandaoguo and Escade. Here are some of the submitted designs: ![]() The contest can be found here: TSP Flag Contest THANKS FOR READING AND WE HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS UPDATE! So how about you? Is anything here similar to something going on there? Share it with our ambassador! We are eager to know what happens throughout the NS world and feel even more interested when it’s related to one of our friends.
