What is a forum without rules? Anarchy, that’s what. In light of that terrifying fact, here is a set of rules which we all must follow in order to keep this place in order. Writers submitting work must follow these rules: 1) Please preface your submissions with the following information:

2) Do NOT post more than 2,000 words at once. Your first submission needs to contain the above template, followed by your writing. Any submissions which exceed the word limit will be reduced or deleted entirely. Please do NOT post another submission until you have received a response for the previous submission. *Multiple submissions are permitted if they are for different stories or pieces of writing. 3) Please contain stories to one thread rather than creating a new one for every submission. You can keep a record of the current available chapter by using the thread description. 4) Do NOT post links to external sites in order to share your writing. 5) (Don't worry about this rule. It would only apply if a lot of people started making submissions, but in case you have yet to notice, it's kind of a ghost town around here . . . ) As a common courtesy we ask you to critique another user’s writing before submitting a request of your own. This isn't a rule, per se. We understand that not everybody is confident enough to offer advice, so we’re not going to force you to do something you are not comfortable doing. However, it’s a good practice to extend to others the same service you ask for in return. 6) Please be mindful of the fonts and colours you are using (the default is optimal in my opinion, however it is down to you). Again, not so much a rule, more of a common courtesy. Readers critiquing work must follow these rules: 1) Please stay within the parameters set by the author, unless they give you free rein. 2) Please Do NOT advertise your own writing on another user's thread. That wont be tolerated at all. *Feel free to advertise stories by using your signature. 3) Please do NOT post unhelpful comments on another user's thread. A helpful comment contains constructive criticism and/or justified compliments. Example: Spoiler: click to toggle
