Character Intrinsic Qualities and Vitals Name: Kurda Thorn Aliases: Gender: Male Age: 27 Species: Human Dossier Physical Description: Kurda stands tall at 5'11", his weight evenly proportioned, giving him a lean, but healthy appearance. His blonde hair is long, well past his shoulders, teasing his belt-line in some of the longer portions. In it, he wears a blue ribbon, whether he wears his hair down or pulls it up. He rarely wears it in a bun or ponytail but does so when he is doing business or trying to impress someone. His eyes are a deep sea blue, and with them he knows how to manipulate people's emotions. Known Outfits: He feels most comfortable wearing a suit and tie, but it wouldn't be unheard of to catch him in an everyday t-shirt and jeans look. He generally reserves the casual look for the days he spends indoors painting, where he cannot ruin his good outfits. When he's sparring, he wears a tight fitting black shirt with loose fitting black and white work-out pants. Psychological Analysis: Kurda learned from an early age that you have to use every available tool at your disposal in order to make it anywhere in life. He's been known to break hearts and make others melt, and he's learned to do it with just a glance. He favors both of the sexes equally. Despite being quite the con artist, he has a genuine interest in people and does care for their wellbeing. He would never go so far as to endanger someone intentionally for his own personal gain. He finds solace in painting, finding it therapeutic to get him through the day. He is a simple man with simple tastes, though would never turn down the finer things in life should they present themselves to him. Background: Born on Eriadu years ago, Kurda was raised by his father and mother who were a native of the world and a coruscanti immigrant respectively. His father was deeply entrenched in traditional Eriadi thought, hostile toward non humans and disapproving of force sensitivity. His mother was, in contrast, very open minded and accepting of other cultures, being from the most diverse world in the Galaxy. When he was young Kurda showed promise in a wide variety of skills and professions and showed a great deal of love for the arts, particularly painting. His mother encouraged his exploration of many different ideas and skills. His father, ever the tyrant, punished his son for trying new things whenever he had the chance, insisting that the boy study to work as a lawyer. Life did not get easier for Kurda, in the tumultuous years in the galaxy that surrounded him he watched as his father and mother grew into deeper disagreement over the nature of right and wrong as well as whether or not they should move away to avoid the fighting. Though it was leered at by many, the Foundation was looked at as a safe haven for pacifists seeking to avoid war by becoming citizens of a Neutral State. The Galactic Alliance and Union constantly skirmished during this time, and as it became clearer that this would be a very long war, his mother feared that Kurda would eventually be swept up in it. His father, stuck in his ways, refused and often used force to get the point across to his mother. When he turned fifteen he privately came out to his mother, who, filled with love for her child, gave him a gift to celebrate the occasion of his bravery. She gave him a blue ribbon that belonged to her family. He opted to wear it in his hair always. Disgusted by his son's way of life and disturbed by the support his wife gave to his son, Kurda's father destroyed all of Kurda's art supplies and arranged to have him sent off to a correctional school for boys. Refusing to give in, Kurda plotted with his mother to get the two of them off world and into Kol'Kaar territory. He reached out to a recruiter in the Corporate Government in order to find gainful employment for himself during his stay. He saved money as the dreaded day that he would be sent away by his father approached. On the night before he was to leave to the correctional school he hired a pilot and a shuttle to Nal'Kaar and arranged for his mother to come with him. His father found out at that time, at the last minute he gave chase crashing his speeder into the back of Kurda's. The force killed his mother instantly. Grieving, but unwilling to sink to his father's level, he managed to take his speeder to the spaceport, and quietly-with his mother's body in tow-stole away to Nal'Kaar and the Foundation. Review of Kurda Thorn, a Kol’kaar Sub-administrator Approval [2/2] Overall Review “Interesting…” – Dylan Skoda Interesting… Grammar and Spelling “‘Insolence’? We’re pirates, we don’t even know what that means!” – Hondo Ohanka The following are mistakes in this applications grammar and/or spelling. Whilst it is recommended that these are fixed this is in no way an obligation to do so. “-Rank: Sub Administrator” Since he is not an administrator of a sub (marine) there should be a “-“ in-between “sub” and “administrator.” “Transporation: Standard issue land speeder.” I am aware that this is how it is spelt in the application but “Transportation” is the correct spelling “Melee(Knife): Novice” Space between “melee” and “(Knife)” “Disgusted by his sons way of life and disturbed by the support his wife gave to his son, Kurda's father destroyed all of Kurda's art supplies and arranged to have him sent off to a correctional school for boys.” “sons” should be “son’s” “Despite being quite the con artist, he has a genuine interest in people and does care for their well being.” “well being” should be one word “wellbeing”
