[anchor]ga[/anchor] The Galactic Alliance [anchor]ga1[/anchor] The Galactic Alliance of Free Alliances, also known as the Galactic Republic in Exile is centered in the galactic south region of the outer Rim around its capital world of Eriadu. Organized in 59 ABY, the Galactic Republic stands against any manner of totalitarianism that obstructs the ways of due process and democracy. Currently in a state of cease fire with the UJPW it still considers the legal capital of the Galactic Alliance to be Coruscant and insists that a state of war will not end until the Jedi cede power back to the Republic. The Yuu’zhan Vong Imperium is a member state of the Galactic Alliance. GA Society is largely open minded and free spirited. Democracy and the Freedom of Speech is valued as essential parts of society. After losing the core, the GA has grown tightly nit with a sense of strong comraderie amongst its member worlds. State healthcare and other such systems are the norm. The Galactic Alliance is the home of the Holo-News Network, though the network has viewers in every faction. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]ga2[/anchor] Boundaries The Galactic Alliances official boundaries begin at the edge of the Inner rim, extending southward to the edge of the Galaxy. Westward it extends all the way to Rattatak but fades at the edge of the unknown regions. Zonoma Sekot is located within its boundaries. Eastward its boundaries end where Kol’kaar Space begins, along the line of Kol’kaar controlled Bothawui, Tatooine, Toydaria, and Ryloth. Ruusan is officially considered under the protection of the GA. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]ga3[/anchor] Government and Hierarchy The Galactic Alliance is a Federal Republic with a formal Constitution and Chief of State. The Galactic Alliance Senate functions as its primary Legislative branch and the Galactic Justice System functions as its Judicial Branch. Its government is Centered currently on Eriadu. The Chief of State functions as the head of the Executive branch and maintains Veto power within the Senate. Officially the Religion of the Jedi order is outlawed and force sensitives are encouraged to seek government assistance. Unofficially the GA is aligned with the Order of Tython. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]ga4[/anchor] Goals and Outlook The Galactic Alliance seeks to maintain order in the Galaxy, wrest control of the inner rim inward from the Union, defeat the threat known as the Sith Empire and restore Democracy to the Galaxy at large. Unfortunately, on the outer rim, with largely undeveloped worlds making up the ‘new core’ the GA is only just recovering from years of war and strife. Resource rich worlds are beginning to be sought out and exploited in order to supply the Galactic Alliance. It stands to reason that the GA is in the weakest state it has ever been historically since its fall to the Empire nearly a century ago. [anchor]uj[/anchor] The Union of Jedi Protected Worlds [anchor]uj1[/anchor] The Union of Jedi Protected Worlds, also known simply as The Union, is centered at the core of the galaxy around the Galacitc Capital of Coruscant. Organized formally in 62 ABY, the UJPW functions as a Mageocratic Theocracy with the Jedi Order functioning as the ruling body within its borders and protecting all worlds therein. Currently in a state of cease fire with the Galactic Alliance, it insists that the Jedi Order is the only body fit to maintian peace, justice and tranquility within the galaxy and therefore does not formally recognize the Galactic Alliance as the ‘Galactic Republic’. It insists that a state of war cannot end until the Galaxy is Unified and in a perpetual state of peace. Union society is relatively open minded, though the only legal force tradition is the Jedi Order. Freedom of speech is protected to a degree, and passivity is enforced. All force sensitives are conscripted into service into the Jedi Order from a young age. The Korribani News Network is banned in the Union. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]uj2[/anchor] Boundaries The borders of the union are relatively straight forward, consisting of all territory from the edge of the Inner rim inwards. The only world that explicitly declares its independence and is recognized by the Union is Tython and the neutral Jedi that occupy it. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]uj3[/anchor] Government and Hierarchy The Union is a Magocratic Theocracy with a formal Constitution. Its chief of state is the Supreme Grand Master of the Order. The Convention of One Hundred functions as its legislative body, consisting only of Jedi Masters. The Executive branch is structured around the Jedi Order, the Supreme Grand Master overseeing a council of 10 Grand Masters, who then oversee the one hundred head masters of the Convention, who by extension oversee the one thousand Academies within Union space. The Jedi order also functions as its Judicial branch and its religious branch. Missionaries are sent out to worlds within the Inner rim to expand the influence of the Council. Its military is made up predominantly of non-force sensitives under the leadership of Jedi Generals. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]uj4[/anchor] Goals and Outlook The Union seeks to unify the galaxy under the protective and benevolent gaze of the Jedi Order, it stands staunchly against the threat of the Sith Order. The Union maintains a high level of general popularity within its territory and has access to the considerable resources of the inner rim. Though war weary, the Union is more than capable of continuing a protracted war. With the Jedi Order at its most powerful in millenia it doesnt seem like the Union will fade anytime soon. [anchor]se[/anchor] The New Sith Empire [anchor]se1[/anchor] The New Sith Empire is centered around its capital world of Korriban in the north and north east section of the galactic map. Organized in 68 ABY, the Sith Empire functions as a Theocratic Empire with the Sith Order acting as the ruling body. Currently in a state of cease fire with the rest of the Galaxy. It seeks an eventual uncontested dominion over the whole of the galaxy. Imperial society is strict and orderly. Loyalty to the empire and its emperor is lauded and enforced. The Freedom of Speech is restricted and all laws uniformly come from Korriban. The Sith have learned to utilize zeal, ferverous loyalty and passion for a cause in order to focus the Dark side, along with the more classic uses such as hate, jealousy and anger. Young force sensitives are forced into service very early on and trained from a young age to be unflinchingly loyal to the empire. Though most non-force sensitives are considered second class citizens, Mandalorians hold a special status and function as the stormtroopers of the Empire. They are considered equal to Force Sensitives in station. The Korribani News Network is the official news source of the Empire, and use of the Holo News Network is censored but not restricted. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]se2[/anchor] Boundaries The Borders of the Empire stretch from the edge of the inner rim, north. From Anison to Saelucami and holds the Gordian Reach, Corporate Sector, Tion Cluster and Mandalorian space. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]se3[/anchor] Government and Hierarchy The Sith Empire is a Theocratic Empire with a formal Constitution. Its Chief of state is the God-Emperor of the Sith. He also holds the title of Mandalore and Dark Lord of the Sith. The Dark Conclave functions as its legislative body, consisting of Sith Lords and the current governor of Mandalore, who represents the clans. The Sith Order functions as its Religious and Judicial Branches. The Imperial Inquisition prevents and seeks out insurrection. Its military is made up predominantly of non-force sensitives under the leadership of Sith Lords. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]se4[/anchor] Goals and Outlook The Sith Empire seeks to conquer the entirety of the Galaxy, no questions asked, unconditional surrender and submission. Surprisingly the Sith Empire maintains a high positivity amongst its populace. With enforced order and regimentation, decisiveness and a clear rule of law many people find comfort in the Sith Empire despite its harsh rules and punishments. The Sith Empire, however, has almost reached a state of overextension with a lack of resources to maintain any further Expansion. It maintains a front of a powerful military as it attempts to build up and shore up its current territory. [anchor]kt[/anchor] The True Jedi Order of Tython [anchor]kt1[/anchor] The True Jedi Order of Tython, also known as the Knights of Tython are based soley on the world of Tython in the Deep Core amidst the territory of the Union. Organized in 56 ABY, the True Jedi Order espouse peace, justice and the protection of all life in the Galaxy against the forces of darkness and tyranny. The Jedi of Tython refuse to openly acknowledge any galactic body as the formal ruling body of the Galaxy. Instead they maintain a strict neutrality. The True Jedi Order of Tython does not have a ‘society’ per-se, but instead is a self sustatining organization. Though there are non-force sensitive members of the organization in the form of the Antarian Rangers. The True Jedi Order monitors all News Frequencies. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]kt2[/anchor] Boundaries The Jedi of Tython only claim the world of Tython as their home. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]kt3[/anchor] Government and Hierarchy The True Jedi Order has partially restructured itself around the ideal of Knighthood and the fight against Tyranny and the Dark Side. The ‘Warriors of the Light’ are a portion of the Order that act with a Mandate to purge Darksiders. Their ranks being Squire, Adept, Warrior, Paladin. In order to maintain cohesiveness, the Grand Master of the True Jedi Order is also the Arch-Paladin. Otherwise the Majority of the Order is structured as the Traditional Jedi Order with the Grand Master at its head. The Antarian Rangers are welcomed as a part of the Order and they recognize the Grand Master as their leader, though the Grand Master may appoint a High-Ranger to oversee the organization. [kt2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]se4[/anchor] Goals and Outlook The True Jedi only seek to protect life and peace within the Galaxy. They firmly oppose the Union’s abuse of the Jedi Mandate. They secretly support the Galactic Alliance. The True Jedi are small, but are made up of powerful and wise members. The Order of Skywalker, Yoda, and the other great Jedi has shrunk considerably. Yet it still makes its presence known. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]kt5[/anchor] Links Faction Starting Ranks Official Jedi Thread [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] |

[anchor]kf[/anchor] The Kol’Kaar Foundation [anchor]kf1[/anchor] The Kol’Kaar Foundation, also known as the Foundation, is based galactic east in a territory slightly larger than the old Hutt-space. Its capital world is Nal Kaar, once known as Nal Hutta. Organized initially in 46 ABY as a retail corporation under Paya Shacta the Foundation is a corporate state. It maintains no official political leanings or goals aside from maintaining its borders and its way of existance. Foundation society is extremely free and relaxed with a large opening for freedom of speech and action. Vice is legal but regulated and taxed in Foundation space, Brothels, Drugs, and other vices are freely accessible to those of legal age. The Hutts have been hunted nearly to extinction within the territory. Although it is the smallest territory in the galaxy, it is the wealthiest and most prosperous. Much of Kol’kaar space is well developed and maintains a excellent infrastructure. The Kol’Kaar Foundation accesses all Holo-news frequencies. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]kf2[/anchor] Boundaries The Northern border of the foundation stretches from Kashyyyk to Tund, south from there it stretches to Ryloth, Tatooine, and Geonosis. Its western border covers Bothawui and Toydaria making it the smallest sovereign faction in the galaxy. [go2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]kf3[/anchor] Government and Hierarchy The Kol’Kaar Foundation is a Corporate Vice-State with a Formal Constitution. Its Chief of State is the acting CEO of the corporation. It considers all Kol-mart’s in the galaxy to be an extension of its territory and therefore has ‘technically’ the widest influence in the galaxy. The Foundation is split into three parts. The Foundation Military, the Vice League, and the Corporate body. The Military maintains the defence of the faction. The Vice League monitors crime and vice within its borders and functions as a judicial and enforcement branch. The Corporate Body functions as the executive and legislative branches. All worlds are overseen by an Administrator and all citizens are officially considered employees of the foundation and are expected to find employment. [kf2=top]Back to the top[/go2] [anchor]se4[/anchor] Goals and Outlook The Foundation’s primary goal is to maintain its own wealh and prosperity. It has no interest in expanding its borders. Outlook wise, the Foundation is wealthy, prosperous and its people are happy. Crime rates are low as most vices are legal and heavily monitored and not many are interested in supporting Hutt lead rebellions. Secretly, the Foundation supports the GA with a generous discount on its weapons manufacturing.
