Time Stamp 77 ABY - Month One - Day 6 Morning Offices of Blyrt Morkath Vice League Headquarters Bothawui Chief Enforcer Morkath exhaled deeply from his darkened muzzle. He had taken to doing so whenever he found himself in an unwanted and stressful situation. This, obviously, being one of those times. He had tried to endure dealing with incompetent foot soldiers for the League, and he had for the most part. His patience was magnanimous among the Chief Enforcers, five of which oversaw the activities on the league on Bothawui. He himself was in line for promotion to League Adjundant of the world, and so he wanted to maintain a reputation for decorum. "Yasmine, you are one of my best foot soldiers, if not the best. You are talented beyond your years." He growled, his jowls set in an even line. He tapped his fingers on the durasteel table before reaching up and straightening the rose tinted glasses on his face. ![]() He exhaled patiently again. "So forgive me when I struggle with the fact that you, of all people, on league time, had relations with a hired smuggler. With a sensitive package undelivered. Do you have any idea how dangerous that is? What if this-this-this Jack fellow took the money, you, and the package and flew off to who knows where? He has enough different identities to slip past a Sith Blockade!" He lectured. He wasn't mad, per-se, far from it, he was and always would be proud of her. He had taken her in, gotten her the best working situation he could find, and personally took her under his wing. He was more concerned for her own safety. Though, as decorum dictated, he could not out right express his thoughts clearly. A veiled lecture seemed like the best way to handle it. Though human females tended to take things differently. He sighed aloud and rubbed his temples, pushing the long braids from the sides of his head and back behind him. "Don't let it happen again. If you want to see... whoever... do it on your time." He could have fired her. |

The Togruta was slender, and dressed opulently in some of the highest quality finery the Foundation had to offer. The long head-tails that fell onto her shoulders almost shined with glitter. She turned briefly and looked Yasmine over. Raising an eyebrow she stepped forward, extending a hand turned down. "Yasmine I presume?" she drawled, maintaining her poise very carefully. "I am Diantha Ming... you must be the diamond in the rough I was so regaled about by Lady Shacta"![]() "You must tell me about how you caught her eye one day." She gestured toward the door. "We should be off. I've got to clean you up." Edited by AGU-NPC, Jan 12 2014, 02:26 PM.

"Y-yes, I'm Yasmine," the woman sputtered, a bit unnerved at being regarded so highly. "Miss Shacta has spoken about me? I.. I didn't do anything, I'm just a foot soldier," she informed the woman, shaking her hand awkwardly. For once, she was at a complete loss. "Cleaned up, right... I'm meeting someone for dinner tonight at the Ruby Cavern, and I don't exactly have anything, um... appropriate to wear. I suppose that's where you come in?" |

The woman tittered, waving a hand briefly. "My my, It would appear that our sources of information are very different. At any rate, yes. I will be taking you to a very private collection here on Bothawui in order to prepare you for the meeting." She escorted Yasmine quickly out of the offices and into a limousine. The long speeder rose from the ground and shot off into the city. Diantha seemed completely in her element, lavish and elegant with a sort of arrogant pride one would expect from a woman of privilege. The trip was brief, Diantha lauding the quality of the collection she was bringing Yasmine to. They stepped out in front of a nondescript office building, and Diantha ushered her inside with a pair of foundation officers flanking them. The interior was stars different from the exterior. Inside was a marble floor and a high ceiling decorated with archaic art from across the galaxy. A Muun wearing a single monocle and wrapped in bright violet robes approached, rubbing his hands together. "Lady Diantha, its a pleasure. This must be your latest project, its an honor to recreate you..." ![]() The Muun gestured around himself. "Please... come with me, there is much to experience here..." |

"Pardon me, but I don't need to be 'recreated'," Yasmine retorted, eyes narrowing viciously at the Muun. Just where did this guy get off, thinking she had to be fixed like that? All she needed was a change of clothing. But if they were going to behave as if she was some sort of primitive in desperate need of their assistance, she was almost certain she had some sort of simple, little black dress in her wardrobe at her apartment. "Lets get some things straightened out now: I'm not a project. I just need something nice to wear to this dinner. Nothing flashy either-- no need to draw any unnecessary attention," she told him rather flatly, looking around at the establishment. She had been so angry before that she had hardly taken it all in. This was the sort of luxury she had tried so hard to get away from, and here she was, neck deep in it again. Yasmine reminded herself that it wouldn't be for forever-- just until the night ended. It brought her little solace, but she would make due. |

The Muun clapped excitedly. "My my! She has quite a personality!" he laughed aloud, bowing briefly to Diantha. He gestured to a rack of clothing and gently grabbed hold of Yasmine, pulling her over to it. What ensued was what cold only be described as a montage suitable only for romantic-comedy holo-vids. Though the two individuals working with her took their jobs very seriously. In the end, she found herself wrapped in a glittering black dress that appeared more like a single band of cloth coiling its way up her body than a proper dress, it stopped immediately under her shoulders leaving them bare. A choker necklace was wrapped around her neck and her hair was styled elegantly. Diantha stood still as Yasmine strode out of the dressing room. Her eyes glittered brightly. "A diamond in the rough indeed. My my... You have a very Alderaanian elegance to you... or is it Dubrillian?" |

"Uhhh, neither. I was born here, on Bothawui," the young woman lied, eyeing herself in the mirror. Never in a million years did she think that she would ever be dressed like this. This wasn't her style, and yet, she couldn't help but like the way she looked. She cleaned up rather nicely when she was given the chance. Yasmine glanced down at her datapad and frowned, "I'm going to be late. Thank you both for your time, but I need to go," she told them, moving towards the front door. "I'll bring this back in the morning!" |

Diantha took the young woman by the arm and escorted her out. "Oh goodness, such a rush! I'll make certain you get there on time," she tittered walking her down the steps outside the building and into the waiting limousine. She was loaded gently inside. The drive from there to the Ruby Cavern was brief and Diantha continued to titter energetically as they rode along. When they arrived the driver exited the vehicle and opened the door for her. She was escorted briefly to the entrance where a valet waited them. Diantha raised a hand. "The Foundation has a meeting scheduled, please escort Miss O'Haire here to her table..." she ordered, eying the valet carefully. The man nodded nervously before escorting her in. Inside was a den of opulence, mired with a haze of smoke and steam from cookery. Laughter of the wealthy and privileged surrounded her. Many men glanced her way, eying her carefully as she was lead by a young waiter to the back of the building. A pair of high double doors awaited her and opened as they approached. Inside a table was set, a man in a very simple looking dress-tunic sat at one end, he glanced up at her and smiled as the door shut. The waiter lead her to her seat. "Ah! The representative from the Foundation..." Cyrus Malone was every bit as rugged and intimidating as he was in the holo-image. Edited by AGU-NPC, Jan 12 2014, 07:52 PM.

Yasmine stared longingly out the window of the limousine as Diantha continued her blithering, tuning the woman's rambles out as best she could. She could care less what the latest fashions were, or which famous celebrity was sighted snogging another. She was more than relieved when the vehicle came to a stop and she was let out. Freedom. Sweet, glorious freedom. With her work on the street, Yasmine was used to men looking at her, but she paid them no mind as the waiter led her to her seat. She smiled gently at the Mandalorian, a small twinge of nervousness washing over her, though it vanished as quickly as it came. "You must be Mr. Malone. It's a pleasure to meet you," she greeted him, extending her hand to him. |

The waiter quickly set down a menu and her utensils before bowing out of the room. The mandalorian seemed completely relaxed in the setting, despite their reputation for barbarism. He leaned back in his chair and stared at her for a long moment. Then, as if remembering something embarrassing that he had forgotten he reached quickly into his shirt pocket and pulled out a long glowing tube. "Death Stick?" He grinned at her, extending the tube. |

Yasmine took a seat at the table, small smile still on her face until Cyus pulled out the Death Stick. She quickly unraveled her napkin and threw it over the glowing tube, eyes narrowing as she pushed it to the table. "Is this some kind of joke? You know what," the woman began to rise to her feet. "I think this meeting was a mistake. Thank you, sir, for wasting both my time, and that of the Foundation's." |
