Time Stamp 77 ABY - Month One - Day 6 Morning Offices of Blyrt Morkath Vice League Headquarters Bothawui Chief Enforcer Morkath exhaled deeply from his darkened muzzle. He had taken to doing so whenever he found himself in an unwanted and stressful situation. This, obviously, being one of those times. He had tried to endure dealing with incompetent foot soldiers for the League, and he had for the most part. His patience was magnanimous among the Chief Enforcers, five of which oversaw the activities on the league on Bothawui. He himself was in line for promotion to League Adjundant of the world, and so he wanted to maintain a reputation for decorum. "Yasmine, you are one of my best foot soldiers, if not the best. You are talented beyond your years." He growled, his jowls set in an even line. He tapped his fingers on the durasteel table before reaching up and straightening the rose tinted glasses on his face. ![]() He exhaled patiently again. "So forgive me when I struggle with the fact that you, of all people, on league time, had relations with a hired smuggler. With a sensitive package undelivered. Do you have any idea how dangerous that is? What if this-this-this Jack fellow took the money, you, and the package and flew off to who knows where? He has enough different identities to slip past a Sith Blockade!" He lectured. He wasn't mad, per-se, far from it, he was and always would be proud of her. He had taken her in, gotten her the best working situation he could find, and personally took her under his wing. He was more concerned for her own safety. Though, as decorum dictated, he could not out right express his thoughts clearly. A veiled lecture seemed like the best way to handle it. Though human females tended to take things differently. He sighed aloud and rubbed his temples, pushing the long braids from the sides of his head and back behind him. "Don't let it happen again. If you want to see... whoever... do it on your time." He could have fired her. |

"She's a spry one aint she?" Cyrus laughed and took a large draining gulp of his wine glass. He set it down and looked at her. He cut into his food again, taking another bite and savoring the flavor. It had been a long time since he had anything so delectable. Then again, such was the life of a mandalorian commando. Especially one who held no loyalty to the Mandalore, to the Sith Emperor. He had other loyalties. "Oh don't worry your little head. I'll think of something... after all... the powers that be demand that you stick around for a little while." |

"Oh do they? So Daddy isn't interested in having me back home. That is a bit of good news to finish the evening with, now isn't it," Yasmine said, half tempted to roll her eyes. She refrained, however, fearing what the Mandalorian would do after such a blatant act of disrespect. She knew she should get away with snarky remarks, but rude or obscene gestures she wasn't quite sure she could pull off. |

"Oh no, your father may very well kill to have you home. He's insistant." The Mandalorian turned his gaze to his meal, it was almost gone. Soon the waiter would come to offer them further drink. He set his glass out so that it could be easily accessed before returning to his food. He ate briefly before accepting a drink from the waiter, which he drank deeply of. He remained silent this whole time, contenting himself in the fact that the information he had acquired and shared was adequate to his task. A last waiter entered the room nervously shortly therafter. Their time was up. "Looks like our reservation is over... h-uh..." he mused aloud, stroking his chin. "Popular place." |

"Home? Or at a Jedi Academy?" Yasmine muttered under her breath, finishing off the rest of her meal just in time for the waiter to silently inform them that their time together was over. "So it would appear," she said as she rose to her feet. "What shall I tell my employer about your arrangement with the Foundation? Will you do as requested?" she pressed, eager to get back to business and direct the attention back onto him. "I would like an answer before I leave." |

"I will comply," he said flatly, rising to his feet. He gave her a grin. "My employers will be happy to hear that you're fairing well. Though they'll be disappointed to hear that you still have an... issue with a certain liquid based intoxicant..." Musing aloud he turned to his men, they stepped away from the door and it opened quietly. He gestured to the door and pressed his fist against his hip, looping his arm so that she might grab hold. "Perhaps I could walk you to your vehicle?" |

"I would greatly appreciate it if you left the intoxicant bit out. Honestly, it will only do more harm than good. You'll find yourself on Bothawui more times than you've ever cared to be," Yasmine told him plainly, looking displeased with the idea of her father finding out her addiction. She casually linked arms with him, gripping his upper arm tightly to hold up appearances as they walked out of the room. "A Mandalorian escort? Can't get much safer than that, I suppose." |

She was escorted out with no large amount of tension between the two. Business had been dealt with and now was the time to exchange pleasantries and leave each other's company. Her limousine would be waiting for her when she exited the Ruby Cavern. With that, her time as representative of the Foundation would be at an end. The fancy clothing, gone, the access to an opulent restaurant, vanished. All of it, a distant memory. |
