Del moved around Adria as she spoke, floating backwards with a curious look on his face. He'd nod every once in awhile, soaking up every word of the story as if he'd be quizzed on the information later. "A creeper, huh? Thats like what Zuhal is doing now with huntin' down Kai. Was he your boyfriend or somethin'?"

Zuhal shot Del a dirty look. "We're not stalking Kai. We're trying to find him since he's apparently disappeared off the face of the planet. And don't ask her that. Just because Adria was stalked doesn't mean they were ever together. Thats like saying that me and Kai dated before since I'm following him."

"HA! So you ARE stalking Kai!"

A shake of the head and silence would be Zuhal's response. Stalking, following, hunting...Whatever you wanted to call it, Zuhal was looking for Kai, and thats all that mattered. There was no point in giving Del any satisfaction at his joke.

Del turned his attention back to Adria. "Well if that creeper gives you any trouble, you should let us know. I betcha he's got an FMian, so me and Zuhal HAVE to take him out. We can't let those stupid butt heads miss with anyone anymore!"

Adria certainly did find Del, amusing. She was somewhat afraid for his sake, though; Zuhal seemed to be close to taking an ax to Del's face... Although she wasn't too sure as to how that would turn out see as how Del was an EM Being... Once Del spoke to her again, she responded.

Adria: "He doesn't have an FMian, but he does have a wizard. That's kind of what I meant by he should have been in prison longer; he stole the prototype of a combat-based wizard being designed by a private company that eventually went under because of that. He was put on trial for it, but there wasn't enough evidence. He is something of a psychopath, but he's far from stupid. He may very well be the smartest person I know... If only the police had put me on the witness stand. The only reason I know all this is because he told me..."

Adria shook her head. Apparently he wasn't as smart as she gave him credit for...

Adria: "As for being 'together"... Pfft, he wishes... As if... He'll never be anything more than that creepy sort-of-a-friend-but-not-really-but-maybe-he-is-but-do-I-really-give-a-damn-sure-why-not-let's-consider-him-a-friend-but-he's-still-a-creeper guy... If that makes sense..."

It was here that Knight interrupted.

Knight: "We've arrived. The lobby is just around this corner."

And indeed it was. They had arrived at the front of the building. The exit was straight ahead. Knight slowed his pace and seemed to yawn as the idea of going outside made him drowsy...

Adria: "Well that was something... It only took a while, but it feels like we've been wandering around for weeks (OoC: Har har)."

Adria wondered what would happen from here. All this business about Kai had her curious, but she couldn't outright ask what was going to happen. She figured she might as well leave it be. She slowly wandered in the direction of the exit, but wasn't really headed in any direction in particular...

Del listened intently to Adria's explanation, although he was a little slow to process it all. He shook his head occasionally as if he understood, but the only thing he got out of it was that Adria had a creeper who had a stolen Wizard. "Yea, yea, I think I get it."

Zuhal made a brief comment to help bring Del's mind into perspective. "Think of it as our relationship that we had when we first met. Its pretty much the exact same thing."

"Oh, okay...HEY! Whats that supposed to mean?!"

By this point they had arrived at the lobby. It had indeed felt like they had spent an eternity wandering through the halls of the Satella HQ. Zuhal was glad that at least now he could perhaps move forward in his investigation. As Adria turned to leave, he spoke up in a hesitant tone.

"...Thanks for coming with me. I really don't know what I would have done if you and Knight didn't help. Things have been rough for me lately, so its nice to know that I've got friends who can help me without being biased."

Zuhal didn't intend to be cryptic, but he had no desire to come out with the truth just yet. Perhaps he would one day, but it wouldn't be here or now.

Adria turned around and smiled. It had been a pretty fun "adventure"... Not exactly what she had been expecting, but it had been somewhat fun. Not only that, but she felt she had helped at least a little bit (although it was Knight who did most of the helping; she had just asked awkward questions and rambled on for the most part of this excursion.

Adria: "Yeah, today was certainly interesting. It's not really how I thought my first day home from vacation would be, but variety helps the human soul sometimes... Not that I mean to be deep or anything... Hopefully we'll see each other again some day. Bye."

With that, Adria strolled out the front doors. Knight lingered behind and stared at Zuhal. After a bit, his stare shifted to Del, but quickly went back to Zuhal.

Knight: "Good luck in the future. Hopefully your problems manage to work themselves out... At any rate, Lady Adria has already gone on ahead... Live long and prosper, my friends."

And soon Knight was out of the building, leaving only Del and Zuhal to do whatever came next. Adria was worried for the pair, but wasn't overly concerned since they could handle themselves for the most part. She felt they'd meet again somewhere down the line, but she couldn't be quite so sure...
