Mach sat with his legs crossed, fingers together in loose fists. Beneath him was a hard stone floor. Above him were fluorescent lights. Here he was in the Frozen North, his warehouse he calls home. He thought of the battles he was facing, the time he took away from the media, and the regard he had with the GSP. This was a great game, and he had moved forward, but also lost distance from his front. Mach had not spoken to Rui in some time. This saddened him. But he was not to risk life, as Lord Badass pursued him from the GSP. However, the defamation that Lord Badass recieved at the White Knight's hands seemed to have had a long, lasting effect. This investigator that Rui mentioned too, seemed to no longer pursue them. Mach could only wonder where they were. "The Wave Warrior identification system has not been replaced. The GSP must be hurting for money after the blow that their publicity took." Mach whispered to himself, breathing outward. "Our next move should be to take advantage of their desperate position and befriend them, along with any new recruits they will certainly be looking to add to their force. They are not aiming for retaliation, which means that they are attempting to get the public eye to overlook us." Prince said, floating up next to Mach's ear. Mach nodded, eyes still closed. "And they have done a good job at it, keeping us in hiding. It's been difficult to move between countries..." Mach breathed in, and out again. "Despite the investigation being pulled off. It's due to the heightened security..." Prince replied. Mach's lips tightened. "Security higher than necessary. Perhaps I am paranoid, but my insight says that we are not the only threat to the GSP right now." Prince was quiet for a few seconds, before speaking, "...you're implying that there is another criminal force out there?" Prince then noticed his error, but before he could correct it, Mach did it for him. "We are not a criminal force, especially not on our own. We are a single wave warrior with ambition and a lofty goal. If we have to commit crimes on the way, we will only make sure that the minimal damage is done. I am not about to commit murder for our own gain." Mach sounded bitter. Prince, hoping to change the subject, continued, "...then maybe it is for the best, especially your health, that we have seen little activity these last few weeks." Mach nodded again, a hand idly reaching up to his chest and gently touching it. After a few more minutes of meditation, Mach opened his eyes, walking forward toward a box that had been set on the wide, open floor of the room. With a pensive sadness he opened it and gazed at the photo inside. "Prince, you know why I do what I do." "It is because you wish to leave a true Legacy behind, right?" Prince said, calmly. Mach nodded, still looking at the photo. "To rectify the lost legacies of past. It is a cruel world when those with great ideas and skill, who actualize their goals for the greater good of society are cast aside." Mach frowned. "Some men do not deserve to be forgotten." ==================== Mach was sitting in a cafe for tourists in WAXA, keeping an eye on the entrance of the building. He didn't expect trouble here, after all, why would anyone attack this place? Well, while it didn't seem obvious, Mach knew of three reasons. The building was suffering lower guards now that some of the major components of the Wave Warrior Identification System were removed in the aftermath of the attack. Secondly, construction being worked on the entryway, which had been damaged by Lord Badass's... well... badassness, was still being repaired. To be honest, it was simply delayed with no reparation going on presently. This left a security hole. And lastly, the building itself was very tall, and an excellent source for information and vantage points for other strikes around the globe. This all meant that WAXA was still very much a desirable target for a criminal attack. "Or maybe I'm overestimating the average criminal." Mach thought to himself. There was no food or drink in front of him, he had not the money for it. He was budgeting every zenny for his plan, and sustenance was not top priority. "At the very least, observing the activity around this area over time will give me a greater scope of how my actions remain to influence the authorities." He sat back in his chair, looking forward at the entrance with a bored, yet attentive stare. Edited by Legacy, Jun 16 2012, 04:44 AM.

“This feeling in my gut.” _______________________________________ It was another one of those days...but not as bad... The sickening curdle in Kanami’s stomach was not as bad this time around. It was a gentle rumble here and again, and her body did not ache as much. She had simply rolled her eyes, trying to ignore it. All of this was just simple side effects of the program as all. Her physiology was so backwards that she swore when she looked to the sky, she was looking to the ground as of late. Hope? No, just some despair and she had tugged at the wrist device here and again to confirm her hopeless situation. She coveted with her lab coat once again. It was another simple day at work as all. She had to throw everything else from her mind that had to do with her problems. WAXA had kept close tabs on the intern ever since that accursed program went “missing,” and honestly, she wished it was back where it belonged. So far, Kanami Kokoro was blazing through her tests and examinations with blazing speeds. She stuck out over all the other interns because of the program’s effects on her brains. It was like magic that every bit of Electromagnetic Data that monster eaten had been converted to actual numbers, digits, and values she could understand. However, the headaches remained. “Electromagnetic Distortion...” she noted with a tap of her pencil across the clipboard in her left hand, “...that’s the answer. It occurs when magnetic force or gravity interferes with a path of Electromagnetic Waves. I remember seeing an example in the halls of Amaken when they had their Black Hole generator. It was pretty awesome.” Her eyes rolled. Of course they would laugh or giggle at the word “awesome.” A bunch of predators they were, these examiners in their white coats, growing scruffy beards, and had on glasses that could double as telescopes. Kanami hate trying to appease to them, dawning their uniform, and had to tie her long beautiful hair back for lab precaution. Sure, that stupid program had helped her understand these nerdy and geeky math problems and science crap, but at the cost of her being something she was not: some uptight lab coat wearing hick! Why did she have to do this? Why? Why? Why? W- “Ugh...” Kanami was hunched over and her hand went to her stomach, “...why now?” Her eyes were tightly shut, but they opened to the examiners before her. Her mouth breathed in deeply. She had to remember her exercises, what given her relief, clear her mind so that this monstrous b**** could not eat away her psyche when she kept panicking. She had to curb the hunger for knowledge and think of no questions, just answers. That, itself was simple enough. “Zeta Waves...Muian Technology...and that other stuff. I’ll need to be excused, please?!” She sprinted out with all the speed her athletically fit body could allow her. It would not matter if they tried to grade her since, technically, some of them might not survive. Kanami had sprint through the halls, ignoring the cramps in her tightening stomach. Her body started to feel light and wilting. She had pulled back the lab jacket, to others making it seem like she was checking the time, but really, checking the size and activity of the little bulb on her Hunter VG’s display. She could see the blob-like ball was growing indicating how much of her body was changing in property. She did not need to worry about the excruciating pain or the excess details, but worry about being seen. She had finally, after one bolting sprint, hit the bathroom as she pushed the doors back and ran to the nearest stall. “Huggggh!!!” the pain made it feel like her stomach was being split it into two and her muscles burned. “Come on!” she cried, “Get it over with alreadyyyy!” With that cry, Kanami simply...let go... With one breath her body enlarged itself almost twice its size, but really she was weighting ten times her mass. Her hair became longer, but heftier, her eyes widened, and she faded from the world’s visible eye and entered the world of Electromagnetic Waves not quite herself. Upon WAXA, there was a massive explosion that destroyed the building’s side as the bathroom was torn apart along with much of the inner room around it. Civilians were laying across the scorched and burned tile floor, computer screens were going wild from the excess amount of noise and bugs that entered the Electromagnetic Wave Road, and people were in a panic trying to stray for devices that put out fires and attempted to call security. However, in the presence of this data absorbing program...nothing acted quite like itself. Security was scattered stupid and wildly flailing about; the emergency fire sprinklers had popped and broken drenching the building with water, and all computer functions began running simulations without permission as Real Waves had gone on the fritz. The being that stepped from the rubble of the wing had large pounding steps even though there was nothing more to her but a grand six foot four height and compressed weight. Each tile shattered under her feet as she stepped slowly and walked as if she was out for a stroll. So much so, no one would notice it was Kanami Kokoro. ”Unh...” Oh, look, a straggler! Kanami known in her heart that she did not mean harm to anyone, but these white coats, they sickened her. The female at her foot who was struggling to recover felt nothing but a crushing grip to her wind pipe as the mutated female had grasped at her neck. Kanami lifted her up slowly, a wide grin upon her face as she could press a thumb to the side of her neck and turn it looking her over with her big blue eyes. Her touch started to break the female into Electromagnetic Waves and she could see plainly with her eyes how the pulses of data in her brain contained so much data. So much information...so much knowledge...it made her mouth water because she was so...hungry! The mutated body of Kanami had begun to move and wriggle around as if it was alive while through the grin, there was a strange gurgling sound. Her shoulders bounced as if she was laughing with excitement and from her there were multiple shots of goo-like threads that spun itself around the scientist’s body now that she was in a suitable and editable Electromagnetic Form. Slowly, the threads started to pull the scientist towards Kanami’s body as if it was preparing to take her into her form, absorb her...devour her. _____________________________ “A black hole that I just have no hope of filling.” Now Listening To: “Monster” by Kanye West IC Attire: Wave Change: Nu Heart Chatty Ditz: ----- Quotation: Kanami’s Thoughts Edited by ~Divine|<3|Heart~, Jun 16 2012, 11:17 PM.

Mach looked up at just the right time to see part of the building explode into the bright sky. His eyebrows raised. "...now then." He said, reaching for a cup of tea, to only find empty table. Had he known such an... event would happen. He leaned back in his chair. "Not very efficient... what would someone have to gain by exploding a part of WAXA? Very odd..." Mach thought to himself. "...unless it is unintentional. Some sort of experiment gone wrong..." Mach felt at unease. He was a tactician. He fought with pieces and clever play. Some destructive force from a failed EM wave project? Or perhaps just some act of sheer terrorism? "This is not my forte." He thought. However, the opportunity to return to grace with the media may be worth taking. If he could observe without taking wave form, that would be ideal. But he had a feeling that he was not about to leave here unharmed. Mach gripped the table and dug a foot into the ground, ready to move if need be. While others ran away, he stared high up into the air at the falling debris, unmoving. Edited by Legacy, Jun 19 2012, 06:22 AM.

“This feeling in my gut.” _______________________________________ As Kanami had sucked her fingers, traces of EM waves had emanated from them. The changed body of the female was devoured and her hunger was curbed, but her taste buds went wild and crazy! Every sensation channeled information to her brain that stimulated her form’s hunger. There were formulas, numbers, memories...all which made Kanami lust for this rush, but as well feel a small morsel of guilt she tried to bring to the surface in order to control this hunger, this beast that was trying to make her devour. The mutated electromagnetic body of the female had taken floor cracking steps to the edge of the building looking at the fleeing workers. Many of them were within rim shot of a screaming crack of their voice as she looked down upon them fleeing, but there was one that simply stood and stared. It made her curious, very curious...and it bred more hunger. She had to resist...she had to! Kanami’s face shown that wide grin that was like a sinister trademark to that mutated form. She had to convince it that this was a game; her prey she was glancing at would be here again. He would be easy! It was better to just watch and observe to know why he had no fear regardless of this dangerous scenery that was becoming of WAXA. With that, the body of Kanami faded into an invisible frequency and she shot upward towards the Electromagnetic Wave Road that hung over space, intending to gain distance from this place until she regained complete control over herself. _____________________________ “A black hole that I just have no hope of filling.” Now Listening To: “Monster” by Kanye West IC Attire: Wave Change: Nu Heart Chatty Ditz: Sorry if I cut this short; something in RL has happened that warrants my attention for a while.
