As the Galaxy was engulfed in a shroud of darkness, the Empires began to crack, falling down like a house of cards.
The domain of the last prominent Queen, the self announced Sovereign, Empress, Supreme Commander Quetesh is in total ruin, the system is a controlled domain, of the still very real threat. during the turmoil, the youngest daughter of Atlas "Aria" was rescued personally, Quetesh putting into use a profession she was groomed for over a thousand years before her exile. The greatest defensive technologies and power could not save her beautiful Capital, nor the near finished unannounced station could provide any affect... The great city shield, lasted for over four days of consistent onslaught before succumbing to the darkness... Quetesh rose to her highest and came crashing down. The night is darkest just before the dawn
An'arlia, Ruins of the Capital
The Stargate activates, the vortex swirling into life.
Several battle hardened Quetesh Guard appear stumbling out of the forward leaning gate, scanning the area maliciously like eagles as they fan out, covering a wider area. Princess Aria materialises, dressed in her iconic shiny onyx "reflex" based armour her normal array of deadly hand to hand weaponry and ranged arsenal of course. around 12 Quetesh Guard now present, Aria gives the go ahead.
Quetesh appears, her beauty covered by scars and battle damage, blood and pain. The Queen no longer had the pleasure of such basic needs, for now at least, survival is instinct. her Kull warrior based armour shined in the bright Anarlian sun, her silk black cape torn to shreds and her hair, well, greasy with a hint of red.
Unusually, she was accompanied by two more Quetesh Guard, her Royal Guard nowhere to been seen.

The wormhole disengages, Quetesh glances back momentarily, before staring at the vast ruins of the once small, but majestic city. The stargate is within the ruins of the Grand Defence Palace, obliterated into a wasteland of stone boulders being consumed by the ever encroaching desert. rotten corpses still remained, some from the day of destruction, others from the starvation and famine left, others.. from the hole in their chest...
Quetesh looks in mild disgust, sights a god should never have to deal with. Before returning to gaze at the rubble, the Capital lay in waste right behind, the giant metal structure of the Capital Building is morphed and bent, the city, obliterated after the shields failed, however, it is not what is visible Quetesh returned for, its what remains unseen.
As the group swiftly navigate the ruins, the Stargate can be heard activating in the distance, Aria already on the situation, balanced about 30ft up some rubble "the gate is active, however nothing incoming as of yet" Quetesh receives through the comms, and gives Aria a dismissive nod, while being uneasy herself.
as they continue on, they come to a larger gap in the graveyard, a faint hum can be heard in the distance.
