-= The Bournscar: Ghanaz System Edge =-

Ghanaz: Ancient Precoursor world, now home of the Tokra

A blue disc appeared at the outermost edge of the system and a large group of starships arrived with the largest ship any had ever seen before. First there was nothing there, then there was something there, at the outermost system edge. The alarm rang as the unknown craft came closer to the planet.

"Commander, we are in the desired system. Target world is directly ahead. They do not know we are here." Commscan reported. The commander nodded. "Good, let us do our deed, and then withdraw. Make sure nothing survives or gets away. Activate recording systems." The Commander said.

The stargate was useless and unworking. Which meant trouble as the plasma began to fall across the world. Dozens of craft lifted off to battle the strange arrivals in order to buy time to get away. But the ships were lost. Destroyed as the plasma connected with the ships.

With their last line of defense gone the Tokra retreated to the cities. Which proved their undoing as the massive craft began systematically firing upon the planet surface as the strange alien fleet got into a orbital formation and rained hell upon the world.

On the bridge of the Bournscar a hologram appeared. The commander stood tall. "Ma'am" He said with a bow

Amona spoke, her arms crossed. "You are in the desired system commander ?"

"Yes ma'am, we have begun to glass the planet." The Commander replied.

"Keep the last city alive, raid it. Despoil it of its artifacts. Remove the Precoursor technolgly from the world, and then finish the burning." Amona said. "The Tokra will no longer be a thorn in our side. They will be dealt with. You are recording this to transfer to our common foe ?"

"Yes ma'am, realtime recording is already active and viewing everything. Do you want me to also record the raid on the last remaining outpost ?" The commander asked

"No" Amona said. "Pause the recording when you are about to land on the planet to raid the last city. And then, restart the recording as you glass the remaining city. Leave nothing alive."

"Yes milady" The commander said with a curt bow as the hologram faded. The commander turned to his aids and officers, "Prepare to land on the planet, One City still holds The Everlasting Cats servants technology. We are to recover it, remove it from this world, and then finish the glassing. Relay the order to the rest of the fleet." The offficers dispersed and readied their ships.

Hellfire continued to rain down on Ghanaz, Once called Korrusa. A former Precoursor world. Ancient technologies within and below One City were their secondary mission, their primary mission was to destroy the Tokra and be rid of the Sneakthieves once and for all. And they were to also let the Tellarians see it all occur as well. As the Commander of the Bournscar was joyfully revisiting his mirth at his orders Commscan intterupted his memory code. "Sir, two ships have entered the system. They are Tellarian make. They are hailing us now on the main channel. How do we respond ?"

After a good thirty heartbeats the commander replied with a feral grin. "We don't. Destroy the interlopers. Let them see what we can do."

"Yes sir." Commscan got onto the radio, "aft portside and midships batteries, target aquired in sector seven one five...." The bustle of activty kept the Commander busy and it was soon drowned out as the system was alight with explosions and fire as the planet began to burn.

Waters and lakes and rivers and seas began to boil away as the plasma connected. burning even the water as it steamed and boiled with heat. Within twenty four standard Tellarian hours the world would be dead, its air burned away as the glass cooled.
End of Line.

Karnak System, Outer Radiation Belt, Bridge of the "Midgard":

The officers and crew rush about their stations as the mighty ship is set to full battle posture. Transmissions flood the ship as all is made ready. The doors of the bridge slide open as the ship's captain enters. His beige boots snap sharply on the deck as he strolls past the captains chair and to the middle of the bridge. He straightens his beige uniform coat and nods to the Free Jaffa representative, Bra'tac. The wise elder nods back as he moves from a station and standing near the captain bows respectfully and says," These invaders are persistent. I have informed the High Council on Chu'lak and even now our fleets are mobilizing. Are you prepared to spring the trap Saul?" Saul looks at the main viewer as he beholds 12 Mark II Ha'tak.

Their golden pyramids glowing the radiation belt. Flights of Deathgliders flank Al'kesh as they move on the flanks of the fleet. Saul turns his back on the main screen and takes the captains chair as he taps at a few buttons on the arm of the seat opening a secure comm. to all the ships in the fleet. His deep Goa'uld voice echoes out," This is Saul, these aliens have entered out galaxy and attacked our worlds, these unprovoked acts of aggression will not be met with justice but with vengeance. We have never succumbed, not to the Goa'uld, not to the Wraith or the Ori or even the Vanir, we will not succumb now. We will triumph as we always have, FOR FREEDOM!!!" The channel closes as Master Bra'tac takes hold of the edge of his gray cloak and takes a seat at one of the many stations on the bridge.

The sword shaped flagship "Midgard" lurches forward, followed but the Ha'tak attack fleet. The Goa'uld/Vanir hybrid ship charges her shields to full power as she brings her cannon arrays online. The fleet closes the distance as the "Midgard" fires the opening salvo on the aggressors. Her ion cannons discharge firey blast as the Ha'tak about her open up with massive orange discharges deep into the heart of the alien fleet.

Al'kesh dive deep through the formation of enemy ships drooping their heavy payloads against the shields and hulls of ships and then climb out of the formation protected by their Deathglider escorts. The Ha'tak break into formation of 3s as they target individual ships and pound away at their respective target. The "Midgard" in all her glory, the veteran of "Odin's Forge" opens with full ion blast raking the hulls of the feline invaders...........

-= The Bournscar: In orbit over Ghanaz =-

The fleet devided its firepower. Half to the planet, half to the interlopers. One of the Tellarian craft exploded as the reactor went critical. The other sent a strange yet hauntingly familar hail, the order was passed to board the craft and take prisoners. Once prisoners were taken and the ship stripped of supplies it was left in space. its engines disabled. Drifiting lifeless.

Only to explode in a show of beautiful lights as the incoming fire connected with the abandoned craft. With out batting an eyelash the fleet continued to rain hell on the planet, as well as into the approaching fleet. The strange alien vessels bristled with weapons batteries that opened white plasma fire and digital hardlight fire. Deathgliders and Al'kesh that got too close were destroyed by the powerful shields of the many countless ships, or had gotten caught in the strange ribbons of light that followed behind the smaller fighter craft.

Shields flared brightly as the incoming ion blasts connected. The commander watched everything on the holographic table in the command bridge. The map showed the battle as a whole. A strange sight appeared on the bridge and stepped over to the commander. "Talk to me Commander." Came the soft hiss of Ghuen'vyrae the Black. The black robed, blackfurred Kzetchclaw stood a ear taller than those on the bridge and was the oldest Mystic in the current battle. It was rare for her to enter the bridge of a ship. Rarer still for her to even be ON a ship and not on a Breedership.

The commander stiffened slightly, but spoke. "The interlopers have aid from the nearby nebulae. They are providing to be a hard force to beat. And these are not willing to back down."

"And the strange signal ?" Ghuen'vyrae asked simply and rather bluntly.

"Those within the ship are currently held in the detention levels. I was about to transfer them to the Digitalis for processing." The Commander said calmly.

"Do not worry of the prisoners, I will see to them myself. And the One City ?" Ghuen'vyrae asked just as calmly.

"We will have to use the Digitalis to access the planet directly in order to get the devices out safely without harm." The Commander replied.

"A sound plan. But I have one better, one the Ascendecy did not count on." Ghuen'vyrae then smiled. Her brilliant white teeth shone in the light on the bridge. The Commander knew what that meant.

"Milady, the Digitalis ?" He said, a feral grin on his face.

"Render their systems inoperable. Disable their craft, and then board it. I want prisoners. Alive." Ghuen'vyrae then turned and stalked from the bridge. The two female aids that were with her standing by the door turned and followed her out of the bridge. Their black and gold lit armor sliding into place as they walked.

The Commander nodded, "Yes milady". It was time to play their favorite game of Cat and Mouse. He relayed the orders and the massive fleet lifted away from the partly burned planet. Continuing to fire on their new enemy the massive ships floated effortlessly forwards. Full firepower was then directed at the main ship as the ha'taks attempted to strike down the smaller craft. Only the smaller ships disappeared in a heartbeat and blue light of transfer. Soon only the massive Bournscar was left as it knifed cleanly towards the flagship, Midgard.

The hellfire then ceased as the blue disc appeared before the massive Leviathanos craft, the craft continued forwards into the disc. Lines of red light fading to nothing as it passed into the strange blue disc. Partly for safety. But mostly for one heck of a oncoming battle unlooked for.

But it left confusion, the world was half burned, were the attackers fleeing ? If so, why ? What were these attackers and why were they attacking Ghanaz ? What was there that was so important to attack the planet and burn it to nothing ?
End of Line.
