The small round ship made a slow docking at the ship Matsya. The passenger on board had been forced into a helmet and smaller regulation space suit, wearing a lightly armored blue suit with white lines on the arms. She stepped out of her tiny ship, landing onto the deck with a little gasp as she took her helmet off. Tombale needed no real reason to be wearing a spacesuit, or helmet, because she didn't need to breathe.

It was fun though! The little girl walked to the exit of the hanger and looked around. "...Autopilot, go wrong. Location, don't know.." The name Matsya was plastered on the wall as she left the hangar and a few people were looking at the strange girl. Her suit near enough confirmed she was here on Voyager business, but at that young? Many said to go back to mommy, or words to that effect, but the little girl merely blocked them out.

She made a slow walk down the hallways, not entirely sure where she was going. "Tombale, lost." The girl made an observation of defeat, staring out of one of the nearby windows, there really was nothing here. Now she'd done it. Her commanding officer would be furious whenever she worked her way back.

"Anyone?, need help!"

[CAPITALISM INTENSIFIES]
Kaji was walking back from the cafeteria, having just finished his lunch break. He was still wearing his uniform, of course, seeing as he apparently never took it off while on the job, even during meals; he just ate very carefully. Lunch had taken a bit longer than he would have liked it to: although he respected chef Slamsay, his methods were rather rough and with all the shouting and arguing that went on behind the kitchen doors, it was a wonder that any food got out at all.

As he walked back to his office (his next patrol wasn't for another few hours, and there was paperwork to be done) he noticed someone suspicious out of the corner of his eye. A little girl, staring out a window, wearing a Voyager uniform. Kaji stopped and stared for a few seconds, perplexed. There weren't many civilians on the Matsya, let alone any children wandering around the colony in Voyager clothing. He frowned. Was this a Voyager crew just entertaining a child's fantasy, or blatant child labor? Something like this had to be in his jurisdiction, so he walked up to Tombale as she asked for help.

He cleared his throat to get her attention, looking down (goodness, she was short) at her. "I'm Captain Kaji Okawa of the FEU. What seems to be the problem, Miss?"

As Kaji flagged her down and walked over she tilted her head. "Tombale, lost." She pointed out of the window, not exactly sure how to continue her speech with such a limited number of words available. "Autopilot, wrong way." She nodded slowly. "Tombale Grabstein, hello." Giving a little bow the robot girl frowned. If she didn't get back from this sector soon, she was going to get in trouble. Her ship's autopilot had always been a bit faulty, taking her places like this.

"Voyager, get back!" She turned and pointed to the freezer. "CO, upset. Tombale, trouble." The brown haired little girl wondered if what she was saying was making any sense to the man. All she needed was some help. "Help. Fix autopilot?" Giving a small tilt of her head she smiled. "Tombale, grateful!"

Tombale. What on earth was a Tombale? And why was it lost?

Kaji stood there, confused into silence, as Tombale continued. He understood the next two sentence fragments; her autopilot had malfunctioned, likely bringing her here, and her name was Tombale Grabstein. That could not possibly be her real name - what was it even from?

Regardless, she was (or looked to be) a lost little girl, and Kaji didn't generally consider himself a heartless being, so he was morally obligated to help. The next fragment confused him, though - he wasn't a voyager and had no reason to get back. He instinctively took a step backwards anyway. The girl was speaking in some kind of broken dialect. Maybe a lack of education forced her into voyager work at a young age? How tragic.

She seemed to need help with her autopilot and would get in trouble with her commanding officer if she didn't. Kaji nodded, about to reassure her that he'd get her the help she needed before he remembered that she seemed to have a thin grasp of the language.

Kaji hesitated before replying, "Um... Kaji get mechanic. Help Tombale fix autopilot. Okay?"

"Kaji, help?" She paused for a moment. That was rather impolite to just use his first name like that. She didn't know who he was! He was a Captain too, so he had ranking. "Sorry, Okawa." She nodded. "Okawa, help? Mechanic, fix?" It seemed like a simple situation. Tombale would be on her way home in no time at all.

"Tombale, grateful!" She gave a quick bow of her head, a smile on her face. "Lost, scared. C01D4-F Sector, cold." She shivered slightly. The suit provided warmth and the ship wasn't all that cold, but the Freezer was only nearby, so it wasn't exactly warm either. But she was safe now, because Okawa would know how to get back home. He was a good man.

"Captain, good!"

She seemed to be reaffirming his help with her questions, so Kaji nodded. "Yes, help." In a convenient stroke of luck and timing, Kaji caught one of the mechanics walking by, presumably looking to get a lunch break of some sort. No such thing would happen under Kaji's watch, as he motioned the mechanic over and explained the situation. There was some complaining at first, but a stern glare from Kaji sent the mechanic limping back into the freezer, grumbling and sighing. Kaji paused, then grabbed the mechanic by the shoulder, stopping him for a moment and whispering in his ear, "See if you can find some kind of marker or symbol for what ship she works for on the ICE. I'd like to know the name of the Voyager crew that hired someone of her age..."

He turned back to Tombale, who was apparently cold. Which made sense, as they were right next to the Freezer. He resisted the urge to smile when Tombale called him good, and cleared his throat. "It's just my job, miss. If you're cold, we could go somewhere else. You could get something warm to eat from the cafeteria."

The mechanic walking into the Freezer gave Tombale a bit of hope. She would be home in no time and her commanding officer wouldn't have to reprimand her for going so hopelessly off target. The possibility of food meant she could charge her batteries. She had felt rather drained after the entire flight.

"Food, Good." She gave a nod of her head. "Warm, need." Then she looked around, her head tilting in all directions. "Cafeteria.., where?" The young girl looked at Kaji, expecting him to understand what she had just said. After all, she was ever so clear with the limitations she had to work with!

Kaji had momentarily forgotten he was attempting to speak simply so she could understand his words. Thankfully, Tombale seemed to understand the gist of his message anyway. Kaji hesitated - there was paperwork to be done and his patrol started in a few hours, but he probably had time to accompany Tombale and make sure she didn't get lost or anything. He briefly considered the alternative - getting one of his soldiers to do so - and immediately regretted the thought.

Tombale's last message was pretty simple - he assumed she was asking where the cafeteria was. "That way," Kaji said, pointing back where he had just walked over from. "Follow me, I'll take you there." He started walking towards the cafeteria, assuming Tombale would follow.

When they got there, Kaji opened the doors to reveal an enormous, sparkling clean dining area. Chef Slamsay kept a clean house, even if the decorations and coloring were fairly bleak. Kaji gestured towards the line, which was much smaller now, as lunch was nearly over. "Get food there." He said. He'd follow her over there - presumably, the people behind the line would want some explanation, and he was better suited to do so than Tombale was, for obvious reasons.
