Swimming Team

So this semester my friends convinced me to join the swimming team, I agreed thinking it will get me in shape and allow me to play tennis better in the spring. I even ignored the horror stories about swimming my friends told me about for the past years. I am a sophomore in Highschool, so I thought it's not too late to join.

I've been on the team for 3 days, and I've been worried about alot of things, the thoughts that the upperclassmen have of me, What the coach thinks of me, Making the team, not embarrassing myself, and managing to get up in the morning (my body has been hurting constantly for 2 days xD), and making sure my homework gets done.

All in all I believe what other people say about swimming being the 1st or 2nd toughest sport in our school.

So I was just wondering if any of you guys have been on a swim team before, and have any advice for me?

Uhm, nope, never been on the swimming team tho. I just played football. Which wus a bitch.

But uh, getting sore and such comes with every new sorta physical exercise you do. You'll be fine in a week or 2.

The swim stuff we wear are like spandex that goes a little Above your knees. Lol.
And yeah that's what my teammates told me 1-2 weeks and it'll go away
Thanks ^_^

Yeah, I was on swim team for a long time. It's incredibly exhausting. I'd also keep a ton of food around, swimming works up a major appetite.
