I'm honestly surprised nobody has posted a topic regarding skyrim. I love this game, it's damn near flawless. Gameplay is pretty neat, the customization is wonderful, the path of the storyline is pretty amazing with the ability to pick what you want. The skill levels are easy to cheat, but whatever.. Few glitches, meh.. It's a great game nonetheless.

I loved Skyrim. There's only thing I thought it was lacking.

There were no real consequences for anything you did.

No, I'm not talking about how you had to run from the guards after you killed the guy who said something rude to you (and then later decided to fight them all because FUCK THE POLICE). I'm talking about some of the major decisions you made. Like whose side to join in the war. Nothing changes after you make that decision. Whether you join the rebels or the loyalists, everything's the same. The only difference is who gets their asses kicked. You don't get any special/different armor or weapon from joining either side, you don't get treated any differently by people (as far as I know, the only time this matters is when you do that one mission where you're either welcomed or rejected into some obscure hideout based on whose dick you're sucking - er, I mean, based on your loyalty). That's how I remember it anyway. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

[SPOILER ALERT] And at the end, when you decide whether to kill Paarthurnax? There's no real consequence! You don't get some epic face off where the Greybeards rage so hard in your general direction that your face starts to melt off. No, if you kill him, they just sulk and refuse to reveal the locations of Shouts to you anymore. Maybe they'll call you a traitor or an insolent child or a chicken fucker (the last one may or may not actually happen outside of my imagination), but that's about it. Oh, and you make those dragon-slayer people happy. (I've forgotten their names - that's how you know it's been a while.)

So yeah. Love the game, love creating my own character, love running around and messing peoples' days up, but I wish some more climactic things would've happened for the bigger decisions in this game.

Not really. I haven't heard much information about it, but I'm sure you could get me into it. xD
