Here is a map of the suikoden 1 area. The Toran Lake region of Suikoden World,it was once Harmonian territory until a civil uprising allowed the Knight of the Scarlet Moon Kranach Rugner and his Strategist Julian Silverberg were able to gain control of the region without bloodshed,the area became an independant nation called Scarlet Moon Empire,the capital city was renamed Gregminster from Holy city of Rupanda. Important Historical dates of the region. 0 Solis Harmonian Theocracy and the Solis Calender were both Established. 20 Solis The Warrior Village was founded by the Paladin Klift in the Lorimar region. 80 Solis The great contract was issued between Kobolds,Dwarves,and Elves to set boundaries between them,six wisemen of the forset cast a spell creating the forest of Illusion to keep the forest protected from the outside world. 230-237 Solis Harmonian civil war and Secession. Rumors of Hikusaak's death plunged the nation into civil war,it was this war that Kranach Rugner and Julian Silverberg used to establish the new Empire,the Sovereign rune became a heirloom of the Rugner family through this when it use to belong to Harmonia,Lorimar joined Scarlet Moon during this as well. 340 Solis Crowley vs Mazus,Mazus challenged his teacher Crowley to a duel and they clashed in a magical duel,it took place in Northern Senan,lasting many days,three mountains and a lake were disintegrated in the process,both duelist died from the fury of their own magic,the Senan Badlands and the Karakas Desert were created as a result of this duel. 345 Solis Crowley is born Through bizarre arcane Crowley was resurrected. 347 Solis Soniere Prison was completed. 370 Solis Scarleticia Castle is completed as a front line defense against Jowstone invasions. 374 Solis Mazus is born the same arcane magic that resurrected Crowley 29 years earlier resurrects Mazus. 407 Solis Moravia Castle is completed,as were satellite fortresses of Rakan and Duha as an extra measure of security against Jowstone invasions. 446 Solis The Succession War,this war erupted when Crown Prince Barbarossa and his Uncle Geil Rugner faced off over the rights to the Emperor position. 447 Solis Tinto attacks war torn region,taking advantage of Scarlet Moon Empire's civil war,South Window forces and North Window's 4th division joined Tinto's attack on the Dana Region taking Kalekka,Emperor Barbarossa,his six great generals and Leon Silverberg managed to beat them back,Viktor's father who led the North Window's 4th division died in this battle. 448 Solis Kalekka incident,Emperor Barbarossa wishing to rid Jowstone forces from the Dana region,but a huge majority of the citizens were against any more war,Leon Silverberg suggested a plan to turn public opinion pro-war,the plan involved the massacre of Kalekka citizens and blaming Jowstone,despite Kilawher Shulen objecting to it,the elite guard were sent to Kalekka to conduct the mission(Humphrey's unit was a part of this,it's what led him to become a fugitive and later join the liberation army)They succeed in completing it,the citizens of the region became enraged against Jowstone and Barbarossa was able to launch attacks against Jowstone forces,Mathiu Silverberg who helped orchestrate the attack,quit the military after this incident(This what he means when he says he didn't want to see people die from his actions when Tir and company meet him in Seika).also Jowstone seemed to become a popular target for blame when groups of people were killed with in an enemy nation by it's own military after this. 453 Solis Toran Liberation Army is formed,Following the killing of her finance Achilles,Odessa Silverberg formed the Toran Liberation Army,hatching numerous sabotaging plots against Scarlet Moon Empire.(Flik,Humphrey,Viktor,and a dirty rat named Sanchez join during this).Also this is just before Suikoden 1 starts. 455 Solis Rebel leader killed,tipped off by an informant the Imperial Royal Guards attacked the Toran Liberation Army's hideout in Lenankamp,the few survivor's fled to safety,but a returning Odessa was killed protecting a child who had wandered into the hideout during the attack(Suikoden 1 players will see this unfold and the informant responsible still looms silently in the ranks of the Liberation army). 456 Solis Jowstone attack Moravia,in order to defeat Kasim Hazil's forces in Moravia Mathiu Silverberg sends a letter to the Jowstone Alliance telling them the Scarlet Moon Empire was about to attack them in response Tinto and South Window sent their troops into Senan,diverting Kasim Hazil's forces toward them,Kasim soon surrendered to the Toran Liberation army,Senan became occupied by Jowstone Forces.(Guess this was Mathii's pay back for the Kalekka incident he was forced to be a part of,this tactic isn't uncommon either Elenor Silverberg once sent a letter to Scarlet Moon during Suikoden 4 to distact Kooluk forces and allowing time to attack fort El-Eal,she admits this to Graham Cray in the crumbling fort) 457 Solis Gate Rune/Liberation War concludes,Victories at Shasarazade fortress and the capital Gregminster and of course defeating the Emperor Barbarossa in the hang Gardens of the Gregminster Palace was the end of this might Empire which lasted 227 years,Lepant was elected the first President of the new Toran Republic after Tir McDohl and Gremio departed on a journey in the wee hours of one morning just after the war end(Flik and Viktor were missing in action during the collapse of the hanging garden of the palace,when the victorious liberation army departed these two finally exited the castle likely just missing the others) 458 Solis Toran/Jowstone War,this war was to reclaim the Senan region that the Mathiu plan cost region control of,Kwanda Rossman commander in Chief,along with Kasim Hazil,Sonya Shulen,and Valeria participated in this campaign,South Window forces with drew by order of Granmeyer,since his forces were being overwhelmed,without their support Tinto soon withdrew as well(fiction between Tinto and South Window a rose from this,plus Highland increased military activity along it's border with Jowstone). *Note the border skirmishes with Kooluk in the South including the incident involving Graham Cray weren't included on this time line yet these occurred in the 290's era roughly 60 plus years into the Scarlet Moon Empire's existence,no year was given for when Kooluk collapsed and part of it being annexed into Scarlet Moon Empire or even how much was annexed,this must be near the end of Kranach's reign as Emperor,since how long he reigned was never mentioned,konami needs to reveal how many generations of Rugner's ruled this region,no mention of when Karnach became emperor or who if any Rugners were between his reign and Kranach's reign.
