So yeah, anyone wonderin or liking them? Or caring for them? I do mind them at all, in fact or by the way, I fell under a spell along with them too: "Legendia, Symphonia, Phantasia too". Thine thoughts about them?

I still can't believe it's not butter!

I've played the two Tales of Symphonia games, Tales of Legendia and I have Tales of the Abyss but I haven't played it yet.

I've played most of them myself, Tales of is a really good series, and Tales of Symphonia is my favorite.
I have only not played the Japanese only ones, to which there are a few.

Actually it was queen who introduced me to the Tales of Symphonia Dawn of a New World & ever since I've been looking for the gc version of Tales of Symphonia to play that & see how it'd effect the Wii version since you can take a GC save file over to the Wii title apparently.

Ebay has it, and you could likely find it online somewhere ;)

As for the save carry over

FROM GAMEFAQS

The following is a post by grannyplayer from the GameFAQs Board for this game. I am not aware of any more complete list anywhere. As far as I know what you get is partly random, and depends on how complete your ToS save is (Side-Quests completed, titles, recipes, Monster/Collector's Book, etc).

"" In another thread, I asked what were the bonuses you could receive if you start a new game with a ToS "game compete" file on your memory card. Someone said there were 8. I have found 7.

MANUSCRIPT SET: yellow manuscript pages x5 (monster EXP+3000); white manuscript pages x5(monster EXP+1000); ruby (earth element, resist Lightning 1); apple gel(10); orange get (10); life bottle(6); 200 gald

MATERIAL SET: anima; pure silver; damascus; electrum; topaz (light element, resist dark 1); orange gel (10); apple gel (10); 200 gald

MESSAGE SET: message:hawkeye (learn skill Item Finder 2); message:warlord (learn skill P.ATK+2); message:sage (learn skill P.ATK +2); opal (wind element, resist earth 1); orange gel (10); apple gel (10); life bottle (6); 200 gald

JEWEL SET: mana mark (recover 3%TP on enemy defeat); spirit mark (restore 1%TP); mystic mark (reduce casting time); holy mark (recover 3% HP on enemy defeat); sapphire (ice element, resist wind 1); aquamarine (water element; resist fire 1); orange gel (15); apple gel (15); life bottle (13); 200 gald

HERB SET: saffron (DEX +1) basil (A.DEF+1) chamomile (P.DEF +1) verbena (A.ATK+1) lavender (P.ATK +1) savory (TP+10) sage (HP+10) orange gel (10) apple gel (10) life bottle (6) 200 gald

GALD SET: amethyst (darkness element, resist light 1) orange gel (15) apple gel (15) life bottle (8) 10,100 gald

GEL SET: pineapple gel (10) lemon gel (10) melange gel (10) orange gel (20) apple gel (20) life bottle (18) sardonyx (lightning element, resist water 1) ""

So far, I've only played Tales of Symphonia 2 and Tales of Xillia (and I've beated them both). However, I am hoping to play the first Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Graces, Tales of the Abyss, and Tales of Xillia 2 when it comes out later this year.

I just got Tales of Xillia myself & so far it reminds me so much of FFVII, FFIX & a bit of Star Wars with Alvin reminding me of Han Solo. XD

It's still a pretty good game, but it has kinda come off feeling a bit laid back though. Still I did just start myself a file about week ago. ^^; xp

Tales of symphonia has been remade for the PS3, I wonder if there is any major changes to this version?

Just some extra added voice overs for the extra bits in the game when they talk to the other characters while on the world map: and it's in HD. So besides the HD upgrade & extra added voice overs I wasn't impressed enough to invest in the PS3 version seeing as I still own both the GC & Wii version since it comes with both the first game released to the GC & second game that released to the Wii. Personally: I enjoy having codes for both of my titles; but I'm very oddish. xp

Okay Queen, good to know. I was hoping they didn't change anything to much. I love the original and I'll be happy sticking to that, but, for those who have not played TOS and cannot get a wii/gamecube and who have a PS3, it would be a good investment.
