(06/10/14 13:25:00 ) Kanady - Sulport - [-Pier of the Black Eel-] At or beneath the lone pier of Sulport. Named because of the many dock eels that have claimed many lives in the waters around the pier. says to ALL: I left the fields, made a trip to the market and now was sitting here at the end of the pier swinging my legs over the edge and just pondering things. I wanted to make sure of my actions, but I could understand why he does what he does. Even I had to admit that this was gor, I lived and moved in it as a woman of freedom because I was allowed to, but I would do my best to bring nothing but honor to Volstagg, or as I sometimes thought of him, Poppa. Homestone, after all these years I just beginning to understand what that means. I don't know if I can even put words to it, but I think it's something that goes much deeper. (06/11/14 17:40:04 ) Kanady - Sulport - [- White Blade Forge -] Is at the best Blacksmiths in all the lands. Sulport is known for its fierce warriors and the Forge offers steel fit for the Priest Kings. says to ALL: I left the caste hall after walking through, but then I stopped off at the forge. While I was standing and watching the blacksmith work I had flashes of memories of standing near a forge in the winter month and watching a man I can only think was my father, pumping the bellows to heat metal with his heavy leather sleeves and hammer working the piece until he had the shape he wanted. I just stood mesmerized by the flash of scene and there was a sadness because I couldn't see his face or even recall where this had taken place. I loved watching as he pulled the metal from the glowing coals and his muscles bulging as he hammered with one hand while the other held the tongs and then when he would dip the metal into a bucket of water and the steam and hiss when the water would chase away the heat. |
