(09/15/14 06:14:42 ) Kanady - Sulport - [-Fields-] Is working on one of the farms scattered around the fields that surround Sulport on its West and Eastern sides. says to ALL: I had hired nearly 100 workers because this was going to be a larger project than the treehouse. They were all here and the work was starting. There would be an inlet dug out creating a harbor, then a narrower ditch that would allow only a small boat into the lake with and island. The land for the island had been marked out and the building would begin now before it was surrounded by water. There would be gates built at the mouth of the inlet and then every 100ft so that the water could be let in a little at a time. The water level would be used to cut grade and insure that the river would supply fresh water for the lake. I would build floating windmills with paddles underneath that would keep the water circulated and aerated and I wanted it deep. The structure would be built of stone and rough lodge poles for the framing and the roof would be made of slate. I would build around the trees as much as possible and use them to hide the dwelling from view. The house would be built to incorporate the landscape. I had a decision to make now before it had gone further. I would go ahead with it, it would be the project without end. There would be a special crew hired. they would live out here it would become almost a small village by itself. Edited by 111111, Sep 15 2014, 01:39 PM.
