says to ALL: Amid the central gathering area, a table had been chosen. Its location along the very boundary where the paths bled into the social arena of the market. Allowing both a strategic view while affording the luxury of a quick departure, should one be found neccessary.

I planted myself confidently upon the bench, appearing mostly alone. However somewhere in the crowd lurked my shadow, Savitar. Since being assigned as my personal guard by Volstagg, he was forever stalking me. And though I did not see his face among those gathered, I knew that he was there....watching.

The long layers of obsidian tendrils ghosted the lines of an oval face, a living frame of shadow to slide and slither with even the most subtle of motion. Eyes some pale shade of green born of the crested waves of thassa lifted to survey those within proximity. How lovely those eyes were, to shimmer like diamonds and yet they whispered of conspiracy.

Observing the strictest of postures, I sat with forearms perched demurely upon the tables edge. Robes of burnished gold draped regally a slender frame, the cuffs and hems a brocade fabric of pristine white, shades only further accentuating the palor of ivory skin. Around a simple wooden cup long fingers were splayed in a light grip as if at any moment I might take a sip.

So easily, I grew bored. Even the saddness of that expression could not distract from such a lovely face. It was only the burn of intelligence in those sharp eyes that hinted at the darkness veiled from sight. I had mingled among the crowd mostly unnoticed for most of the ahn...listening...watching..learning. A smile ghosted the curve of my lips, never fully born to its full potential but the promise of it remained.

says to ALL: the man from the Inn simply waved me away pointing to the seating area "go serve girl" She could pretend she hadn’t seen you or else simply ignore you and both options were considered for a moment, reluctance should have been her name as it certainly her nature, releasing a breath of resignation she stretched toned muscles, an easy, ethereal essence that was inherent to her in every single move she made, distinctly feline with the languid arch of slender spine and left the Inn without a sound, or single word, long shapely legs curled under her arse and slim thighs closed to form an altar of demurity, a vicelike hold of flesh on flesh that preserved some shred of decency…ceruleans dropped under ink hostage, long lashes striking in contrast to the porcelain of highly carved cheeks…a china doll, painted woman with painted smile…forcing up the curvature of sensual sanguine she let the expression stay fixed in stoney determination, her brow already creased to deep furrows though she was not sure why,she had served countless times and even on occasion professed to finding pleasure in what she did..perhaps now to jaded, to bitter, all illusions shattered and left in blistered shards of acrid intensity…all this flashed through her mind, did it show to the features of her exquisite face, did it show in the way she held herself in coiled tension?..she did not suppose it mattered for one moment she might not like it, but who said servitude was the proverbal bed of roses, with an anguished mewl her hands came to rest, deftly tapered fingers now pressed to the columned kiss of coltish legs..calling out softly "greetings" to any that were close enough to hear such.

says to ALL: I was given a bowl with a mix of suls, some other vegetables and a little verr meat for protein. Cheap but filling and right now it tasted very very good. I knelt on a mat and spooned the food quietly. Dark eyes looked around seeing people come and go. I was mostly unnoticed though if I was it was often with the amused or scornful looks given to men who are reduced to slavery.

says to |||||| When a Tornado me: Luminous eyes of haunting jade were drawn by the lyric of your voice. A studious gaze befell you, sweeping assessingly from the posture of your kneel to the expressed saddness that haunted your features. Swift were the eyes that read the notice etched upon the steel surface of the collar. The line of delicate brow lifted silently as I further observed you.

"Tal, collared woman."

The greeting felt odd to speak. Yet you were not yet a slave and neither were you a free woman. The curtain of silence resumed once more as my attention shifted from you to survey the gathering faces. Among them, I searched for one. Always, I searched for that face but one would never know if I was happy or disappointed not to find it.

I knew you immediately of course but it was startling to see you as you were now. I didn't think it was too likely you'd leave the block unpurchased. I smiled and nodded over to you.

says to [.Deaths Lady.]V A L I A: the weight of your stare was felt as keenly as a touch to the sculpture of her marbled form, held as if perfect statue, she was motionless, thus far she had said little the word was almost hissed between the clench of ivory teeth, forced out over the plump promise of painted lips, a vermillion pout that concealed such venomous nature, "greetings" eyes narrowed to thin slits that denied you access to the expressive portals, locking away any thoughts she might have under heavily guarded shutters, Finding your gaze again the liquid darkness that radiated a control she had no wish to be under, she forced up a smile to her mouth, the corners of painted lips lifting, sardonic expression held.

says to [.Deaths Lady.]V A L I A: I heard your voice suddenly nearby and my attention turned with a sudden wary flash. As I'd been a slave for all of two days it was awkward and disorienting to find myself in the presence of free women. I would at least have liked to have a tunic. Dark eyes looked your way a moment before recognizing that might not be advisable. I spoke in a voice that was quiet, educated in its accent, masculine "Greetings Mistress"

says to |||||| When a Tornado me: Eventually, my gaze would return to you and the hissed greeting from gnashed teeth did little but amuse me. It mattered not if your disatisfaction was of the way in which I addressed you or was based solely on the current state in which you found yourself. In truth, I cared not at all. You were but one of many women to find themselves in such circumstances. And as if to echo your expression, my lips twisted into a smile born of cruelty.

I returned attention to my food bowl as a way of masking the tumult of thought and emotion.

The distance devoured under the measured stride until she re-emerged in the circle of tables, hair enflamed under that summer warmth as it spilled in endless prowl along the feminine horizon of shoulders. The soft succulence of lips bore a frown The resonance of your voice lifted as she hummed quietly while taking used dishes from the many tables she was petite in form, standing little more than 4'9" and weighing a mere 110 lbs soaking wet....her hair was a black and hung down to brush the top of her ass....he waits for the vender to come her way. Cimson lips tip up, her shoulders pull back as she places the dishes in His bucket to be cleaned by his slave girl

says to ALL: Bare feet skimmed over the sun warmed ground as boundless legs roamed the distance, leading her in an effortless weave among the patrons that littered the path. The desire to glance back as she’d moved some distance away would not be denied and though she felt that small rise of tension, potential embarrassment for being so blatant, she could not keep her head from twisting on the delicate stem of her neck and stealing a distant glimpse of the vendor Jerking her head back forward as she sipped the sweetness of summer air laden with the scents from the booths she closed upon. The ball of her foot forced a small impression the soft dirt bordering the booth she found, the attendants smile growing to a lecherous grin as his attention seemed more intent on the alluring charms displayed before him than the tantric chime of her voice "any chores to be done?" Swallowing once more, she nodded then spoke softly "thank you, will check back later to see if perhaps you have chores" the male simply nodded,

says to |||||| When a Tornado me: I only half-watched you, my focus shifting to the crowd of faces that seemed ever changing. Having perfected the art of discretion, you were appraised at my leisure. Every movement was a telling thing and I witnessed more that you were a natural slave. The line of full lips pressed softly together, the corners of my mouth drawn with a smirk. You would have little choice when put upon the block and the auctioneer I suspected would put you through the paces. I could guess that you would perform sufficiently enough. The haught of laughter whispered from my lips as my gaze rested momentarily on you. I lifted the cup to my lips, taking a drink as I wanted it...as was my will to do so.

says to [.Deaths Lady.]V A L I A: The laughter drew my attention again. There was a sharpness to your gaze and the hint of something dangerous. If I was being honest with myself I knew I was drawn to that like the proverbial moth. No doubt there was some connection between that and the state of slavery in which I found myself. It was likely unwise to look with continued curiosity. I steadied a lean masculine form and resettled myself where I knelt on the mat as if to refocus attention. The long dark hair that framed a youthful face gave some cover. As a scribe I'd been something of a student of human nature and so trying to get a better sense of someone, especially someone like yourself, was not easily resisted.

says to ALL: she could come and go as pleased...but where?...she had had a glimpse of the docks as the night drew to a darkened close, dark pools smeared about the many piers that housed a variety of ships, along the habours far length she could just make out the small glow of light coming from an old tarn ship that had seen it's days, now it remained in silence slowly decaying within the thassa seas, such a mornid burial for a once grand ship top of it's class and seen more battles upon the green waters than most. Along it's sealife encrusted hull lay the word "Justice" for that was what she had been called. Recalling the night her father had purchased the ship and how many times she had watched it depart from the Karian shores, Her father had named it such after his first Woman had ran of with a Merchant man. Now it lay barren with just a small flickering of light that shone through the portal hole It had been such a long time since she had stepped foot towards that seedy end of the docks yet something had awoken and pushed her forth to carry her slender form towards it. A slow nervousness not of fear but something more deep perhaps that of a past she had forgotten, a slow awakening now something within the depths of her soul churned and twisted to life once again. Her thoughts dirfted wildly from her child hood to the recent events, a deep longing had surfaced to be what she once was, a woman of the forest, to seek out the solitude life she once had instead of facing the demons once again especially as she was in her current situation. Pausing in her steps she slowly lowered to the rough surface of the pier settling upon her firm ass she simply stared across the length of ships, its size still overwhelming even as an adult, as a child it was like another world to her.
