"So...like us...but in another dimension?" Amy asked, she seemed to be on the same thought-process as her husband. "So we're in the other dimension or are they....here?" She wasn't quite sure how to phrase it in a manner that made sense. The doctor would understand. He usually did, and honestly if he didn't like he had the place to make fun. |

"Almost... completely nothing like that," he said. "They're not aliens, they're more like projections of a faith making imprints upon the fabric of reality that..." He stopped because they were giving him those fish out of water looks again. He sighed and his arms fell to his sides, as if in defeat. "Angels and demons," he said, as if they were very thick and this was an imposition upon his own time and brain power. "It's not an alternate reality it's real reality...our...reality. THE only reality. The battle isn't the problem, it's been raging for centuries, since before some people nailed that man to a tree for suggesting how lovely it'd be that everyone be nice to one another for a change." He flapped a hand. "Look, that's not important, the important thing is that I was noticed."

Rory screwed up his face, Angels and Demons? Angels and Demons are real? And there were two blokes who were fighting armies of them? He shook his head, glad he wasn't them. He'd take fighting stuff with the Doctor over that any day. Angels were real, that couldn't be so bad. Maybe him and Amy had a guardian Angel who watched over them and made sure everyone was alright. Then again, with the Angels came the Demons. Demons were never a good thing. Rory continued to ponder the implications of all this when something clicked, "Wait, you were noticed? By who?" |

Amy scrunched his nose at the mention of angels. Amy didn't have a particular like for anything that threatened earth. This whole business about faith and realities was confusing enough. Then again Amy wasn't really religious, no her faith was devoted in the Doctor. "They're not like the weeping angels....are they?" She asked. It set her on edge when the Doctor mentioned being noticed however. Everything, everyone seemed to notice the Doctor. |

"Um, nope. Not like weeping angels. Bit less friendly. Don't let you live to death just tend to smite you into oblivion and you know Rory, that is a very good question," he draped his arms around both their shoulders and took in a deep breath. "Satan. Satan is who noticed me, I was noticed by Satan, there really just IS no good way to say that is there? He took notice. Lucifer knows I'm hobbling around his end of space..." |

Rory's mouth fell open and his eyes widened. He just stared at the Doctor for a bit while his brain processed what the Doctor had said. "Satan noticed you?" He had to say it out loud, and then in a voice a bit shrill out of sheer terror he said, "Satan noticed you?" That was probably the worst thing the Doctor could have said. At the very least, Rory couldn't think of anything else the Doctor could have said that would have been worse. That was bad. Really, really bad. |

"By satan you mean ....the devil. Red horns, pitchfork and all that yeah?" Well, no he probably took some other form but Amy wanted to be sure they were talking about the same person, not some bloke who was calling himself Satan. "Do you know how bad that could go?" The possbilities spun in her mind, the what-ifs and oh, drats. What would happen if satan got a hold of the Tardis, what would happen if Satan got a hold of the Doctor, she didn't much like that idea either. It sent a shiver down her spine. She looked to her friend in worry. "What do we do?" |

"Yes, Satan," he said. "Not to be confused with Satin, because that's a different thing all together," he rambled as he worked on parking them. "Yes, it's all very bad, we land, we sort it and we leave," he said to Amelia, but he was sure his worry showed through in his eyes, so he smiled. "Don't worry. I've faced him down before." |

"But this time, Doctor, you don't have a convenient black hole handy." The TARDIS shook, and the voice seemed to come more than anything from the vibrations of the walls. "I knew you would come, Doctor. I knew it was only a matter of time. You've probably come in some misguided attempt to stop me or destroy me. In truth, I'm surprised. You and I aren't all that much different. But I have a hypothesis. What happens when you and I both are stripped of our most potent technological device?" Lucifer needed merely will it, and now it was time for something within the TARDIS to twitch. |

"Ah," said the Doctor softly, to himself. The look of shock quickly turned to wide-eyed alarm. "AHH! No! Don't you dare!" He'd left the sheilds down, too. "She's not your technological device, she's mine!" He hollered at the air. He pushed passed Amy and threw a lever desperately but it was far too late. The TARDIS gave a sad, horrible sound and there was a crash as she landed and her occupants went flying. The Doctor bashed his head on one of the railings, and everything went dark. |
