"So you're saying I am to drop everything and fly to halfway across the world to have a meeting," questioned HIH Crown Prince and Minister Leonardo José. “Yes, by order of your father, the Emperor,” a woman said on the other line. Leonardo, or Leo as he likes to be called, sighs. He’s been back and forth in Dawinia, making sure new protocols were put into place. He’s more of a hands-on person, and doesn’t leave anything to falter. Currently, he was flying from the Dawinian capital, Hamunaptra, to the southeast of Dawinia. “Fine,” he responds, “have my work and-“ “Your work will be forwarded to you, secured and encrypted. Your pilots are currently on course for Melhua, so just sit back and relax, ” interrupted the woman. “Thank you.” He hangs up the phone and sighs. This doesn’t even surprise me anymore; damn it, he thought, as he made his way to the aft of the aircraft cabin, where his bedroom is. He enters and falls into bed, intending to sleep through most of the new flying time of 11hrs to Melhua. 11hrs & 40 minutes later “Your Highness, we’ve arrived in Gabana,” said one of Leo’s aides. Leo’s plane had already landed and parked, air-stairs already positioned in front of the forward cabin door, in Gabana’s major airport. He quickly arose from his sleep, realizing that he slept through the entire flight. But before he could chide everyone for not waking him before landing, he instead dashes to make himself more presentable. About 11 minutes later, he’s making his way out the plane, onto the tarmac. “This heat is just, wow,” he commented, as he made his way to a waiting car, w/o the Dawinian flags, for his “safety.” He suspected, all along, that he was intended for him to go to Melhua, whether he liked it or not. As he finally made his way into the car, he lets out a relieved sigh, as the interior was air conditioned to a pleasant 15.5°C (60°F). He finally ended up at the Varma Palace, after a short, yet spiral, trek through the city. He exits his vehicle, with six Dawinian Guards, and introduces himself to the officials, waiting at the entrance into the building. |

Prime Minister Jai Kumar was waiting for the arrival of the Dawinian Prince. He had heard about Ram's success with the Austianese and wanted this meeting to be even better. If everything went well, then Meluha would have another strong ally. Jai Kumar used to be the Air Force Chief. He then joined Ashok for the position of Prime Minister. Some says he is the only one who Ashok fears. Almost all in the military supported Jai, and if he wanted he could take power. But he knew that anything undemocratic done by him, would meet terrible consequences as he knew that Gilead would interfere. Right now, he was amassing as much as money as he could before the end of this regime, which he know will end soon. As the Dawinian Prince's car reached the palace, Jai went forward and shook hands with the Prince. "Welcome to Meluha, Prince Leonardo. Please come in." Jai led the Prince into the Diplomatic Room and said, "Please take your seat, Prince." "Now can we commence the talks?" |

”Thank you, Your Excellency,” responded Leo, recognizing that he was greeting the Meluhan Prime Minister, Jai Kumar. Making their way into the building, Leo noticed his guards to be more “on edge;” quite understandable, given the fact that the sentiment between Dawinia and her former colony, Melzae (now Meluha), was dismal before the revolution, and now is at an all time low, with open hatred between the two nations. After being directed into a room, Leo, as directed by Prime Minister Kumar, takes his seat. “Of course,” Leo responds, “please start, seeing that you are the host to these talks.” |

"Now there were a lot of hostilities between our nations, and we were very close to a war. But now as your nation have agreed to give the Lakshadweep Island back, we want to normalise our relations." said Jai. He then continued, "Austiana has established an alliance with both of our nations. So it would be better if our countries were properly united and for that, we should set aside our differences and unite for the greater good. For that we would like to ask for two things. One, please resume exporting crude oil to our country and Two, sign a military pact with our nation." He then waited for The Prince's reply. |

”Yes, but I will not just hand over Isla Coramor just like that,” Leo said, “I expect, nay, demand provisions with the transfer of ownership. I must have you assurances to not prosecute any citizens of Dawinia.” Leo paused, weighing on whether or not to list more terms, however, decided that this was enough. “We will get it back it time, Leo thought to himself. “I do agree to set aside our many differences, for the greater good. I will direct Dâiede to resume petroleum exports to Meluha, but this military pact I’m a bit weary off, for good reason. It wasn’t that long ago when your military was attacking my people. But, as I’ve said, I believe that I can agree to these things.” Leo thinks for a second, before continuing on. “I do have one more condition, though. I want an official statement atoning for your actions against Dawinia." Jai said, "We promise you that Dawinian citizens will be safe." "And what should we do? Should we apologize to your people?" asked Jai. Edited by Maurya, Apr 18 2014, 05:44 AM.

"Great to hear," responded Leo. He thinks over his next statements, then continues. "Yes. A public, televised of via a released statement, act of contrition. Then, and only then, will I leave Meluha as a newfound ally and military partner. It's about high time that we revitalize the diplomacy between our nations, and that will be the first step." |

"Well, I will do that. But after the meeting. You have my word. But now let's discuss about some other important things." said Jai

Leo just sighs to himself, from aggravation. "Good, and of course. What else are we to touch on today?" |

Looking over the document, Leo raises his eyebrow to a certain bullet point. Fifteen years?! Wow, thinking for the future, thought Leo. After some careful consideration, Leo puts the pact on the table and responds. "I am prepared to sign this, and do think my father, the Emperor, would support my decision as well." Leo takes his pen, one that he carried with him, and signed the document, as well as affixing his seal under his signature. |

After the prince signed, Jai took the document and put his signature. After that he asked, "Is there anything else you would like to discuss?"

"I have no qualms," responded Leo, "other than what I have previously had shared. I do yield to you, though. Anything that you wish to bring up?"

"Well just one thing. We would like to know about Daiwnia's territorial ambitions." said Jai.

"Our ambitions? Well, I suppose we could discard whatever plans we had for Melzae, I mean Melhua. I jest, of course. However, we have our sights on the Rendarian Union, Chanarya, and possibly Mirevea." Leo pauses for a second, having to remember to keep up the new Dawinian rhetoric in face of foreign persons. "But, that's for the short term. We seek, along with Dawinia's most closest ally, Austiana, to cleanse the continent of the vile evils that stain it so, and once we've achieved that, then, only speaking for Dawinia, we aim to help the world come to face its vileness. After all, we're not invading, only liberating." Leo smiles, upon concluding his statement. |
