Explosives Spoiler: click to toggle L109 FRAG GRENADE The L109 is a round fragmentation hand grenade designed for the Valkanian Armed Forces. COST: 100$ M84 Stun Grenade The M84, also known as a flashbang or stun grenade, is the currently-issued stun grenade of the Valkanian Army. Upon detonation, it emits an intensely loud "bang" of 170–180 decibels and a blinding flash of more than one million candela within five feet of initiation, sufficient to cause immediate flash blindness, deafness, tinnitus, and inner ear disturbance. Exposed personnel experience disorientation, confusion and loss of coordination and balance. While these effects are all intended to be temporary, there is risk of permanent injury or even death. Consequently, the M84 is classified as a Less-lethal weapon. ![]() COST: 150$ AN M18 The M18 Colored Smoke Grenade is a grenade used as a ground-to-ground or ground-to-air signaling device, a target or landing zone marking device, or a screening device for unit maneuvering. The M18 replaced the World War II M16 which did not burn as long as vividly. It is not designated the "AN-M18" but "M18." It was discovered in West Sundria that the green smoke drove away swarming bees. ![]() COST: 150$ AN M8 This Smoke Grenade is used as a ground-to-ground or ground-to-air signaling device, a target or landing zone marking device, or a screening device for unit movements. ![]() COST: 150$ M18 Claymore mine The M18A1 Claymore is a directional anti-personnel mine used by the Valkanian military. It is named after a large Istrian medieval sword. Unlike a conventional land mine, the Claymore is command-detonated and directional, meaning it is fired by remote-control and shoots a pattern of metal balls into the kill zone like a shotgun. The Claymore fires steel balls, out to about 100 m (110 yd) within a 60° arc in front of the device. It is used primarily in ambushes and as an anti-infiltration device against enemy infantry. It is also used against unarmored vehicles. ![]() COST: 119 $ L9 Bar Mine Bar mine L9 is a large rectangular Valkanian anti-tank landmine. The bar mine's principal advantage is its long length - a typical anti-tank landmine is circular, and for it to activate a vehicle's wheel or track must actually press on the mine. The vehicle's wheels or tracks actually make up only a small proportion of its total width. To increase the probability of a vehicle striking the mine, the mine's effective trigger width must be increased. The bar mine allows a 50% reduction in the number of mines in a minefield without reducing its effectiveness. It was reported that it would take 90 sappers 150 minutes to lay a 1,000 yard mine field consisting of 1,250 Mk 7 Valkanian anti-tank mines, weighing a total of 17 tonnes. By comparison, it would take 30 sappers 60 minutes to lay a 1,000 yard minefield consisting of 655 barmines weighing a total of 7.2 tonnes. The long mines can also be laid through a simple plough attached to the rear of a FV432 armoured personnel carrier. Laying circular mines in similar fashion requires a far larger plough and more powerful towing vehicle. ![]() COST: 200$ C. Artillery & Air Defence Spoiler: click to toggle L16 81mm mortar The L16 81 mm mortar is the standard mortar used by the Valkanian armed forces. The weapon can be man-packed by the mortar detachment, but this is an arduous task (especially for the carrier of the bipod) and is preferably avoided. The ammunition in this case would be carried by other soldiers of the battalion. In addition to his normal equipment, each man would carry four bombs in a pair of two-bomb, plastic containers (known as greenies in the Valkanian Army). COST: 600$ M6 mortar[/img] The M6 Mortar is a 60 mm lightweight infantry mortar that can be used and carried by a single person. ![]() COST: 200$ AS-90 The AS-90 (acronym for: Artillery System 90, known officially as: Gun Equipment 155 mm L131) is a lightly armoured self-propelled artillery piece used by the Valkanian Army. The AS-90 underwent a capability enhancement program in 2008 and 2009, primarily relating to upgrades of the AS-90's electronic system. COST: 1,700,000 L118 light gun The L118 light gun is a 105 mm towed howitzer. The proper name for it is "Gun, 105mm, Field, L118" but it is almost always just called "the light gun". COST: 500,000 M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System The M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (M270 MLRS) is an armored, self-propelled, multiple rocket launcher; a type of rocket artillery. ![]() COST: 1,300,000$ Spike Missile Spike is an Valkanian fourth generation man-portable fire-and-forget anti-tank guided missile and anti-personnel missile with a tandem-charged HEAT warhead. ![]() COST: 450,000$ Rapier Missile Rapier is a surface-to-air missile developed for the Valkanian Army and Air Force. Entering service in 1971, it eventually replaced all other anti-aircraft weapons in Army service; guns for low-altitude targets, and the English Electric Thunderbird, used against longer-range and higher-altitude targets. As the expected air threat moved from medium-altitude strategic missions to low-altitude strikes, the fast reaction time and high maneuverability of the Rapier made it more formidable than either of these weapons, replacing most of them by 1977. It remains the Valkany's primary air-defence weapon after almost 35 years of service, and its deployment is expected to continue until 2020. COST: 900,000$ Starstreak Missile Starstreak is a short range Man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS) manufactured by Thales Air Defence (formerly Shorts Missile Systems), in Zessium. It is also known as Starstreak HVM (High Velocity Missile). After launch, the missile accelerates to approximately Mach 3.5, making it the fastest short-range surface-to-air missile in the world. It then launches three laser beam riding submunitions, increasing the likelihood of a successful hit on the target. Starstreak has been in service with the British Army since 1997. In 2012 Thales rebranded the system under the ForceShield banner. COST: 735,000 Mobile Artillery Monitoring Battlefield Radar Mobile Artillery Monitoring Battlefield Radar also known as Mobile Artillery Monitoring Battlefield Asset (MAMBA) is a small air-portable weapon locating radar system which is deployed with 5th Regiment Valkanian Artillery of the Valkanian Army. Mobile Artillery Monitoring Battlefield Radar automatically detects, locates and classifies multiple artillery, rockets and mortars and carries out an assessment based on weapon or where it has impacted. It is renowned for being accurate. COST: 1,000,000 D. Equipment & Uniforms Spoiler: click to toggle Mk 7 Helmet The Mk 7 helmet is the current general issue combat helmet of the Valkanian Armed Forces. Officially known as the GS (General Service) Mark 7 Combat Helmet. The Mk 7 helmet wheighs 1 kg and has chin strapping for stability. It is produced in a new colour - tan, unlike the Mk 6A in black and Mk 6 in olive. The ballistic protection is measured with V50 and for the Mk 7 it is about 650 m/s. ![]() ![]() COST: 250$ Osprey body armour Osprey body armour is a system of body armour used by the Valkanian Armed Forces. The system is in its fourth iteration following extensive development and engagement with front line users. ![]() COST: 550$ General Service Respirator The General Service Respirator is a military gas mask designed to replace the previous S10 respirator for the Valkanian Armed Forces. It was designed by the Valkanian Arms Industry Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence, and is manufactured by the former. ![]() COST: 300$ Enhanced Combat Helmet The helmet’s shell is made of an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene material. It protects 35% better against small-arms fire and fragmentation than the previous Valkanian helmets. The helmet is protects against certain rifle projectiles. The helmet is of the “tactical cut” type and thus offers less coverage but does enable better mobility. The helmet is compatible with camouflage fabric helmet covers. The helmet has been shown nearly impenetrable to fragments fired by test guns. In a v50 test, guns were unable to attain the velocity required to get 50% of the fragments through a helmet. The helmet has vastly exceeded the 35% ballistic improvement requirement. The helmet's design allows for the addition of devices such as communications and night-vision equipment. A single pad that cushions the entire helmethas been developed. The ECH has a 4-point chinstrap/napestrap head retention system. The Marine/Navy and Army variants are differentiated in that the Marine/Navy version uses an X-Back retention system (called the Class I) and the Army uses the H-Back retention system (called the Class II). COST: 300$ Personal Role Radio The H4855 Personal Role Radio (PRR) is a small UHF transmitter-receiver issued to the Valkanian Armed Forces. The radio has a range of 500 meters, weighs 1.5 kilograms, has 256 different radio channels and a battery life of 20 hours continuous use. It allows users to communicate over short distances. Effective even through thick cover or the walls of buildings, PRR is issued to every member of an eight-strong infantry section. Operating in the 2.4 GHz band, PRR has no integrated encryption devices and does not intercommunicate with the rest of the Bowman network, but is widely acclaimed as having revolutionised intra-squad communications and small-unit tactics. Additional features being the ability to be re-configured in the field with 16 channels available on the selector knob and fifteen other groups of sixteen available with a simple tool. The radio operates on spread spectrum and has a good level of security being designed with LPI (low probability of interception). An inbuilt receiver enables the radio to be keyed remotely via a short range encoded Press To Talk switch fob, the switch being mounted on a weapon or hand grip of a military vehicle. The switch code can be changed in the field and the radio configured to work with up to 4 different switches (useful for soldiers sharing transport such as motor cycles where the PTT switch can be handlebar mounted). The side mounted switch- pack is supplied with a single Transmit switch for general use and a double switch pack and auxiliary lead and connector to operate a second "Bowman" radio from the same users headset. Multiple security switches and block outs are fitted to prevent re transmission of secure Bowman signals over the personal network. ![]() COST: 650$ Personal Load Carrying EquipmentPersonal Load Carrying Equipment (PLCE) is the current tactical webbing system of the Valkanian Army. It consists of a belt, yoke (shoulder harness) and a number of pouches. Associated with PLCE webbing is a series of other similar load carrying equipment and rucksacks (See ‘Components’). The purpose of PLCE is to hold everything a soldier needs to operate for 48 hours. This includes ammunition/weapon ancillaries, entrenching tool, bayonet, food and water (and a means to cook), NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protection and communications equipment. Soldiers will also often carry other items such as waterproof clothing and spare socks. ![]() COST: 700$ E. Camouflage Patterns of Uniforms & Equipment Spoiler: click to toggle Multi-Terrain Pattern The Multi-Terrain Pattern is a camouflage pattern printed on equipment issued to Valkanian forces. As part of the Ministry of Defence's (MOD) Personal Equipment and Common Operational Clothing (PECOC) programme, three new camouflage patterns were considered for issue to Valkanian forces. These were a revised temperate DPM using lighter colours, a new three-colour desert pattern with enhanced utility for night-time operations, and a hybrid four colour scheme using two colours from each of the previous patterns for use on webbing in all terrains. A-TACS Camouflage Pattern A-TACS AU (Arid/Urban) Camo utilizes numerous shades of tan sampled directly from a variety of arid and urban environments combined with various shades of earth and small amounts of green, A-TACS AU Camo is designed to be effective in a wide range of arid environments. This pattern was the first to utilize a process where organic pixels in the micro patterns are grouped into larger, more defined “macro” shapes creating larger more defined patterns designed to be viewed from a distance. It includes Urban, Arid, Folliage and Winter coulour schemes. It is used by the Provincial Forces of various provinces. The urban version is used by Ministry of Homeland Security troops as well as Federal Troops of the Federal District of Saint Demetrium. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() F. OOC: Dear costumers, Having finally finished my product list, which covers everythign from tanks to radios, and that's not a joke, I believe that it is time I made something clear. You see it is my firm belief that make-believe copyright shouldn't bind all the good, or generally all, military gear in existence. Thus if anyone wants to produce one of my products to make it standard issue for their armed forces without having to buy it over and over again we can negotiate a settlement and they'll allow me to do that to one of their products in exchange, or we can say we jointly produced it so we can both have any later upgarded versions. Thank you for your attention and understanding. Also there is a 25% discount for purchases within the first two weeks so GO BUYING B!TCHES! Edited by Sviardia-Nordrvegria, Aug 10 2014, 05:08 PM.
