Mailliotbourg Royal Airport, Mailliotbourg, Duchy of Artesmia, Kingdom of Acratania

At Mailliotbourg airport, what greeted the royal delegation was what had greeted many foreign nobles and leaders who had come to the Kingdom: a line of Gendarmerie on the tarmac, in parade dress, with a few limousines and motorcade of more Gendarmerie awaiting them. The government official sent to greet them was Sir Philippe Soult, Former First Minister and Lord Speaker of the Baronial Council to receive the Dawinian Crown Prince. Some considered him the second-most powerful man in the Kingdom, because of the sway and advice he gave to both Guillôme I and Guillôme II. In some part this was true - Sir Philippe wrote the King's speeches and gave him advice on how to handle governmental affairs, although much of it was the King himself. He and the current First Minister are enemies of long date.

The heat from the tarmac rose up, causing Sir Philippe to wipe some sweat from his brow and dust off a little speck of something that had fallen upon the sleeve of the Acratanien uniform. It was a pleasing sight when he saw the expected aircraft arrive, landing on the ground and making its way slowly and carefully over to the line of limos.

"Indeed. And we'd like to both continue that and connect additional motorways to meet yours at the border. There are many that run close to it and minor extensions would not be of issue."

Daníel thinks for a moment, battling on whether or not to talk about the recent meeting his father, Emperor Antonío, had came from recently, as it did have an impact on the continent as a whole. He decided to go for it.

"There is also another topic I'd wish to talk upon. You may have heard of the quite recent meeting between nations in Victorium and Northern Suran, in Castratene; the League of Castratene as it is now called. It's mainly for further stimulated trade between the nations of Victorium, as well as establish a defensive bloc for the protection of the continent. If you're interested, I'd be more than happy to suggest a bid for Acratania's entrance into the organisation."

He stops, awaiting the King's response, holding his breath to an extent.
