President Sammir Zhabawi sat at his desk while the Tataloonian Secretary of Defense, Jean Oppel, sat in front of him. Zhabawi had a look of discontent and ghastliness on his face. It was as if the man had almost died, the look of sheer grief coupled with a hint of forbidding terror. He sighed as he looked at the paper he was holding yet again and then took a gulp of the glass of water to his left. The water cooled with two cubes of ice flowed down his throat. He looked at the man dead on, with eyes screaming of desperation.

"There is no choice, is there?" He asked.

"They gain numbers and support everyday. If we wait too long, they're going to take more ground." Oppel replied. "The army would be able to delay them, but not stop them. If we wait too long, they're going to take the entire province of Balanan. More to the south if nothing is done. Our forces are spread to thin."

"I see." Zhabawi answered. He didn't like the answer at all but what more could he do. He opened up the com on his desk to call his personal secretary. "Miss Saildu, please get to Mr. Kallota immediately."

"Yes sir. I'll contact him immediately." The voice on the other end answered.

Darmannis International Airport,
Darmannis, Nono Province

Two men and and their security force waiting at the hangar for a special guest to their country. Security was tighter than usual but anyone could make the mistake and beg to differ. Everything seemed casual at the area. Nothing was out of the usual. However, if one was to observe close enough, there were more security agents roaming around the airport. The two men in the hangar were even being protected by the Presidential Security Service, the president's personal security service. A small detachment was sent to protect the coming envoy. Along with that, the police in the city were on a heightened alert. With the recent situation in the nation, nothing was left to chance.

"Will they be arriving soon Joun?" One of the men, who seems to be older and more senior in authority and rank, asked.

"Yes Mr. Masbatu. They plane should be landing any minute now." The other person replied.

"Good, good." The older man replied.
