Hello, , so I've been running Arch for the last couple of weeks and so far I've been enjoying my experience. I've managed to fix most of the issues I've had with compatibility and what not, but this here I really have no idea about. The issue is as follows: I install the base version of the game. No mods, no nothing, just Minecraft 1.9.2 Vanilla. I get on, I make a world and my character literally can't move. WASD doesn't do anything, I can't access the in-game console/chat with T or / and who knows how many other controls don't work. I can jump, though. Spacebar works fine, Shift crouches as expected and mouse controls seem to be fully working ( I can look around, break stuff, use food, etc. ) Escape brings me to the options menu and the hotkeys work fine as well. I figured out that if I rebind the keys, I can get partial control back. When I rebind WASD, I can sort of start moving, but then when I release the corresponding key, my character doesn't stop moving. Just keeps going until I press another movement key, at which point he stops and I once again lose the ability to move. I wish I had some sort of log to provide, but from what I can tell there are no errors being reported. Minecraft doesn't crash at all. I've switched between jre7 and jre8, but that had no effect whatsoever. I've tried a different keyboard, that didn't do anything either. Besides, I have a keyboard/mouse wireless combo with a single connection point, so if the issue was in the connection between the keyboard and the PC, the mouse should have issues as well ( at least that's my reasoning ). I hope someone here has had a similar issue like this before, because I'd like to fix this. Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
