First I'll read the new OP chapter though. According to some people on my FB wall it's the most amazing thing ever.

Yeah. 13 inch, 2.9 ghz motherboard with 8 gb memory and 750 gb hard drive.
I wanted the 15 inch one originally, but they changed the complete line up and possible customization options recently and I would have had to wait until introduction week to order it and I would have had to install everything during breaks at school because that's when I get my student loan money for next month...
I need time to get used to it and install everything I need :P

I see. :) Hopefully it's good, haven't really used Macs in ages myself. (Unfortunately).

I did borrow my sister's 17 inch macbook once though to write a mail when I was going with her to her school for one day and my laptop didn't work on their wifi. :P
That keyboard was absolutely wonderful to type with. I think that was the point I decided I wanted one of my own~

My first computer was my parents' old Mac and it had a great keyboard too. The screen was black-and-white though. :P

My first computer had the first version of Windows. :P It did have a color screen, since my father likes to collect old computer parts and things.
We're all getting a bit disillusioned with Windows now though. Vista has so many faults it's hard to really like it while my sister's macbook has had no problems whatsoever.

Yeah, Vista was the worst. I have Windows 7 but I still prefer Macs, they're so much more reliable in every way.

Yeah, I took one look at Windows 8 a while back and that design disgusted me. Way too much focus on social media and I don't think I could work with that.
I could actually have upgraded to Windows 7 for free back when I bought this laptop 3 years ago, but my father told me to wait and then I forgot about it until it was too late already. :P
