Thank you Dumbledore. I'm sure that I'll feel the same way after every round that I survive, so there no need to continue congratulating me if it becomes too much of a hassle. :P

Also, I am so terrible at this challenge.

It seems that Voldemort + Mrs. Figg + Luna may have become the dominant trio with Hagrid losing power. Apparently all three of us are annoyed by and even slightly suspicious of his move to save Stan. Luna's PMs indicate a lack of closeness to Hagrid despite their alliance, but of course this could be deliberate.

If I am right though, I'm hoping I'm firmly at the center between Voldemort and Luna. It's just so hard to know with Voldemort. That weird Final 2 comment really threw me off, and still does! I don't think it's possible that his intent was to deceive me based on the PMs he sent, but I can't know for sure.

Ok, this is strange.

I don't know why, I don't know how, but for some reason, in a matter of seconds and with no identifiable cause, I've come to like Stan.

WHAT IS THIS VOODOO MAGIC?

This has ruined all my plans. I now want to eliminate Hagrid, but I don't think I can pull that off, and there's no way I'm voting for Luna or Voldemort.

I think I'm playing this game too emotionally.

Hello there student. We’re back again with another interview. We’ve got our quick-quotes quill ready. Shall we begin? Please answer these questions truthfully to help tell your fans your story. Remember, you mustn’t tell lies.

Q1: How big of an impact do you see the galleons twist having? Has it affected you at all so far?
Q2: List your tribe hierarchy. Where do you stand in your tribe?
Q3: Is your tribe working together well? Or is there tension between the group?
Q4: Have you made an alliance yet? If so, how secure do you feel in it? If not, why?
Q5: Gryffindor, you rebounded from your loss last week to take first this. Is your tribe finally coming together or was this just a fluke?

Q1: I think it will have some impact. I'm honestly not sure how much. I suspect that in tight votes the possession of items will be fairly evenly balanced between sides, but I could easily end up being wrong. It hasn't affected me so far. I'm saving up for something good!

Q2: Top to bottom

Mrs. Figg (I think? I hope? I don't know?)
Luna
Voldemort
Hagrid
Stan

Q3: I think there is still tension between Voldemort and Stan, but otherwise I think we're good.

Q4: My alliance with Voldemort has to be the strangest maybe-F2 alliance ever. It is still driving me completely bonkers and I am honestly tempted to tell Luna about what happened and beg her to forgive me for not always considering her my closest ally. I feel so much better about my alliance with Luna, which keeps making me ask why one random Final 2 PM is influencing things so much. If he just didn't say anything, Luna would be my BFF and all would be good, but no, now I have to have confused feelings!

Q5: A fluke? I refuse to answer this question if you're going to make such a suggestion. :P

As for other things, Luna is wonderful. It's possible that she's figured out how to make me all warm and fuzzy, but her latest PM to me was great and it has sparked the confusion that I mentioned in my previous post.
She also mentioned to me that Stan considers me his favorite. I don't see why he would lie to her about this, nor why she would lie to me considering she wants Stan out (you don't generally tell your ally that your intended boot likes them so to lie about it would be unheard of). My best explanation of this is that she was worried I was getting close to Stan without her knowing, but the problem is that it brings to the surface all my feelings from before as well!

What is the right thing to do here?

Do I use Voldemort's apparent lack of enthusiasm to consider our F2 deal defunct (he never actually confirmed he was up for it)?

Do I continue to have as my closest ally someone I can't really talk to unless we're planning a vote, when a much more obvious choice is right there?

And Stan!!

He's not really an ideal ally as he tends to say the wrong thing sometimes, but how can I enjoy talking to him so much and vote him out?

Ok, what it comes down to is this, can I trust Voldemort not to do something stupid (or not so stupid?) and screw me over?

I thought I could, and I still think I can, as he approaches the game with a certain confidence and appearance of competence despite not being so social.

I've decided! I'm going to stick by him and see what happens.
