And so I got chosen by the Goblet of Fire, with my complete and utter lack of magic remaining unnoticed. Wonderful. :)

It has been confirmed to me that my taste in... somewhat human characters is rather odd. Indeed, instead of falling for the rather normal Seamus or Neville, I have instead had my fancy taken by a vicious werewolf, an ever-moaning ghost and as always, a murderous psychopath (as if I wouldn't?).

An alliance of Myrtle, Fenrir, Voldemor and Mrs. Figg has spawned, and I am incredibly relieved.

Also, the amount of times I've had to explain the Dobby boot without revealing that I wanted Stan dead.... I hope I don't have to do it ever again.

-

I really, really like Fenrir. He is upfront about what he wants (he asked about an alliance in his first PM to me) while also sending nice long PMs. He has a great sense of humor and let's face it, he's a werewolf, and we all know how attractive they are.

He told me he's in this game to win it, and I'm ok with that. It makes me think he's more honest and genuine than your average survivor player. He mentioned that the game being online makes it easier to lie, but that's ok, at least he's not pretending to be some innocent, naive puppy dog that would never ever ever lie to anybody.

The only problem is that I'm being really boring here (I need to work on that) and he probably isn't interested in a very close alliance with me.

-

Myrtle is really cool and fun. She's probably closer to Fenrir than she makes out...
Myrtle

And Ollivander was not very active. He was nice to talk to, but I never really built a connection with him. I mean, don't get me wrong, it was still hard to vote him out, but I had totally never really felt that close to him. Fenrir a little bit more, so that was what saved him.

Myrtle

And I can tolerate small postings. Fenrir does that as well, but nothing is better than writing essays!

but I could see myself allying with her in the future as well, and apart from the occasional worrying remark...

Myrtle

Yeah, I really try and beat around the bush at first, then come right out and say it. Might as well instead of waiting until EC, and then making it seem opportunistic >___< Whatever the matter, I see that Fenrir is really adamant on having an alliance :D But I agree, I really like Seamus and Neville too D: I still have yet to talk to Voldemort, so I'm still considering my options ^===^ You've made a wonderful impression on my, so congrats to you :D

I quite like her.

-

Neville is sort of bland (so probably very similar to how I appear to others). I don't know what else to say. I don't find him particularly objectionable, but he's not in my alliance so I wouldn't really mind if he was voted out.

-

And now we get to Seamus. I don't know, I just don't like him. I tell him that I'm worried about what the social strength of the tribe means if we need to go to an EC and he tells me that I'm being pessimistic and dismisses it.

Seamus

Well what are you thinking about, I mean. Doesn't that seem a bit pessimistic? I mean it's awesome that you are planning ahead and stuff, but let's not psyche ourselves into losing!

Way to kill any possibility of an alliance!

I mean, this would normally have me worried that he's very comfortable where he is at the moment in an alliance with the Ravenclaws, but this was pretty near the beginning of the tribe formation, so unless the Ravenclaws approached him about an alliance at the start as well (which I imagine would be pretty risky!) I don't think so.

-

Voldemort is much the same. Apparently he and Myrtle haven't even exchanged any PMs so it does make me worry that I won't be able to keep him around (this was a real concern of mine going into Durmstrang) but an alliance between us and the Ravenclaws is the best I could have hoped for, so for now I'm content.

-

I think Hagrid and Stan should be ok in Beauxbatons. Hagrid must have some kind of connection with Parvati after their 2-person class and I suspect he'll want to keep Stan, so I'm hoping they'll be ok.

I really worry about Luna though. I know she has the capability to survive, but I got the impression on Gryffindor that she can be a bit inconsistent so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks Rufus! I've felt rather all-over-the-place here, so I'm glad I'm still making some sort of sense.

Voldemort

I agree, myrtle and fenrir are the best allies on this tribe. Likeable and trustworthy.

You aren't bland Figg!

Also,I feel bad nit writing all these long PMs.

This is my longest PM from Voldemort in at least a week. <3

Things are looking up again in the world!

Seamus

Yeah so don't worry! This is a string tribe! We have this in the bag

I'm sorry Seamus, and you're probably really great outside of the game, but here you are sort of insufferable.

Anonymity in anonymous survivors?

You must be kidding me!

Glad to see someone else from my country here. Now I really want us in F2 so we can brag about our country :D

Then the mods will be like "a major twist: a final 3" and everyone will say "NOOOOO WHAT IS THIS SO CALLED FINAL 3 NEVER HEARD OF IT BEFORE"

Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh, it's an essay, it's a love letter, it's a romantic poem!!!

I'm having palpitations!!!

I think I've fallen in love for the third time this game, for the same wizard!!!

Also it is rather beautiful how consistent Neville and I are keeping our PM sizes. I'm beginning to like him a little (I still don't like Seamus), but Voldemort likes Seamus more for some reason, so that's annoying.

Ah, the Triwizard Tournament. What a place for a great scoop, wouldn’t you say? The fabulous Rita Skeeter is here with another interview to help the fans get to know their champions. Answer these questions truthfully. Remember, you mustn’t tell lies.

Q1: What are your thoughts on the new tribe? Anyone stand out as a possible ally? Enemy?
Q2: Is there anyone from your original tribe you miss or are worried for?
Q3: How has your interaction with your class changed since the tribe swap?
Q4: If you had lost this challenge, who would be going home tonight from your tribe and why?
Q5: Who stood out as the MVP for this challenge? Did this challenge bring your new tribe closer together?

Voldemort continues to be the man that has my heart pounding, that has me tearing off my hairnet in the futile effort to remove the heat rising to my cheeks. Every time I hear about the Dark Lord's lack of content, difficult communication, or how his PMs could be a 'little longer', I am tempted to give the speaker a good whacking with cat food-filled shopping bags. In fact, I have half a mind to do it now, despite the magical nature of my opponents. Has Expelliarmus been honed to contend with Whiskas Seafood Delight? I would think not.

However, as much as I may fantasize, the fact does remain... people don't exactly warm to Lord Voldemort. There is even a chance that Myrtle will decide that her alliance with us is not worth it and seek other options, but Fenrir at least seems to still like Voldemort, and for now I feel that would be enough, as long as I could trust it.

I have decided that whatever the situation, I am sticking by Voldemort. For three reasons:

1. It makes me feel better about myself.
2. I'm pretty sure Voldemort's mine.
3. It actually boosts my reputation (I hope). I hope that the approach I have taken has allowed people to see how loyal I am to my allies, while also not putting them off.

I really don't think Voldemort has long left in the game unless I'm keeping him around (both Seamus and Neville, and even Myrtle probably, would most likely want to vote him out), so I have to not play the lurking-in-the-shadows game I was planning on and now play the annoying batty catlady that won't vote out the obvious boot!

I am relying on the fact that I have gained enough influence so that people won't risk upsetting me by voting out Voldemort, and that at worst, they vote out him instead of me (it sounds so bad I know) because all I'm doing is being loyal. I don't know how well it work, and I'm worried that I'm talking Voldemort up too much, but it's what I've decided to go with.

I mentioned earlier that Neville said he wanted to work with me, and I agreed, while also telling Voldemort, Fenrir and Myrtle about it. It rules out a couple of anti-Figg conspiracies that I've been weighing up the likelihood of, but not all of them. Especially concerning is the contrast of these two PM excerpts.
Neville

I want to stick with you. I feel like you're a very trustworthy player. I've gotten comfortable with Myrtle by now, but I think it may be a good idea to wait a bit before suggesting anything to her. We still have time.

Myrtle

Oh and now I hear he wants to make some type of three person alliance with us? This is funny!

This has me worried that they've been allied for a while and didn't communicate properly on when to introduce the three-person alliance to me. Especially interesting is the fact that Neville seemed to change from pro-including Myrtle to not after I revealed that I'd be hesitant to go against Voldemort. It's possible I'm reading too much into it, but it makes me wonder what exactly is going on.

The problem is, Neville has been pro-Seamus as well, but has expressed that Seamus is having trouble reaching out to me. Why would he offer to work with me if his ally didn't like me?

But let's say if Neville-Myrtle is a thing but not Neville-Seamus, there can't be perfect communication there because I'm pretty sure Myrtle would want Fenrir as an ally while Neville would want Seamus. And yeah, I just don't think that quite makes sense either. In any case, order of trust at the moment is:

Voldemort
Fenrir
Myrtle
Neville

Seamus

so that'll have to do.

Questions-

Q1: Fenrir, Myrtle and to a lesser extent, Neville are possible allies. Enemy is SEAMUS.
Q2: I miss Luna and Stan, I am worried for Luna and Voldemort.
Q3: It has decreased remarkably.
Q4: I think it would have been Seamus, but Voldemort would have been possible if people are working against us.
Q5: I have no idea.

Yeah, I'm sorry about Voldemort. I really hope he doesn't drag you down. Are you that connected to him? Like, during merge, are you going to stick with him then? Because if this alliance with Neville does work (as long as you trust him) I can see this going in past merge.

Myrtle asking THE QUESTION.

Myrtle mentioned that you guys talked about a three-person alliance, too. I want to explain what happened there, because it doesn't look that good, but I didn't mean to be sneaky about it or anything. Basically, first, we got together. We talked about allying with Myrtle, but we're thinking about waiting. Almost right after that, Myrtle and I broke the ice, and we got into an alliance. But I was really tired by that point, so I decided to put everything on hold in regards to expanding things between the three of us.

Sorry if you got the wrong idea about that. >_<

See, this is the kind of thing that sets my paranoia aflame. Why does Neville think I got the wrong idea about that unless Myrtle told him?

Also, Myrtle is starting to show signs of defecting from Fenrir and Voldemort. Fenrir really surprises me because I've had great conversation with him while other haven't seemed to (unless they're all in F2 alliances with him and are trying really hard to hide it).

It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Hmm, if Myrtle really isn't that close to Fenrir, then I may be able to steal him away. I'm trying to do so in a way that doesn't burn me completely if they are tight though.
