I am so not playing the game that I was planning to play (my loyalty to Voldemort has attracted the attention that I usually strive so hard to avoid), but I'm having fun and I'm still going to do whatever I need to do to get myself through each vote. I just need to make sure I don't crash and burn as I have done before, regardless of whether or not I can pick myself back up again afterwards. I want to win, and I am not going to win by scrambling my way to endgame. I need to make sure people don't feel alienated by my loyalty to Voldemort (unfortunately this has already happened) and I need to use it instead in whatever way I can to present myself as someone who doesn't turn on her allies. |

Oh Neville... Sometimes I think I'm going to like you, and then I don't. |

Does his desire to work with you seem genuine to you? |

It seems genuine enough, but I'm pretty sure he feels closer to Myrtle, perhaps even to Fenrir, and I know that he may seek to reconnect with Tonks. |

Fenrir is apparently voting for Neville if we go to another EC, so fingers crossed! |

![]() Q1: Who are you closest to in the game as of now? Q2: What are the dynamics of your tribe? Who is each of the other players closest to? Q3: Is it too early to think about the endgame? Why or why not? Q4: Is it too late to start forming alliances, or is it possible for someone to squeeze their way into one after all the dust has settled? Q5: Write a haiku describing your strategy moving forward. |

Q1. Voldemort <3 Fenrir comes in second. Q2. I'm pretty sure Fenrir would actually have been willing to vote for Neville over Voldemort if we went to EC. Whether he's closer to me than to Myrtle, however, is uncertain. Myrtle is probably closest to Neville, but it's hard to say. Neville is pretty much definitely closest to Myrtle. Voldemort better bloody well be closest to me. If he's not then I've been doing all this for nothing. Q3. I don't think it's too early, but I'm not bothering to think about it much. You can easily lose track of the current game by focusing too far into the future. Q4. Squeezing your way in is certainly possible. It's just like when you have a crush on a guy but there's the slight inconvenience of him having a girlfriend. You can bet your favorite hairnet that there'll be insecurities there, and all you need to do is exploit those insecurities, feed your dream guy a little bit of charm and seduction (shocking I know, this technique does not even require a love potion!), and BAM you've got yourself a boyfriend. Now I don't recommend this tactic for real life because it's a little mean, but in survivor it's pretty A++++. You'll still feel a little creepy, but don't worry, I'm either currently married or killed my husband before he could divorce me (it's difficult for me to tell which), so it won't prevent your life from being a success! TL:DR No, yes. Q5: Loyal lioness Tearing enemies apart Savoring their taste Edited by Mrs. Figg, Jun 19 2014, 12:38:13 AM.

So while all the drama was going down my plan was to desperately find non-Durmstrang allies to nestle myself into, but I might not now. I'll definitely send feelers out everywhere and take whatever opportunities come but these tribes have been staying as they are for a while and those from Hogwarts and Beauxbatons may actually want to stick with their respective tribemates. Luna, Stan and Hagrid in particular are people I'll need to talk to. Perhaps even Hooch would be a useful contact (I'm quite wary of George). The main thing I'll need to do is keep as low a profile as I possibly can and work on expanding my connections. Beyond that, it's hard to say. |

I really feel like I've gotten comfortable with Durmstrang as a whole, with the exception of Voldy. You guys are who I feel best about in the game, because I never really got a connection with most of Hufflepuff.
