Flavorwise, the Yule Ball is something that only happens for one night, and the light blue doesn't seem like a merge tribe color. I don't actually think this merge is going to be final, but it's here anyway. Anyway, I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm going to have to figure that out sooner rather than later, which isn't helped by the fact that I'm going to be unavailable for most of today. EDIT: Yeah, called it kind of. The only other thing that I've changed was adding + OotP to the title, and changing the tense of the description. Edited by Madame Hooch, Jun 20 2014, 10:36:34 PM.

This really does make sense from Peeves's point of view, I just wonder why Tonks didn't realize that it puts Luna and Fenrir in a really bad position going into future rounds. If it was one of Luna or Fenrir that flipped, then that makes even less sense that they'd let go of her now. I am seeing two possible options here: 1: Peeves and Tonks are now allied to an extent that Luna and Fenrir don't matter much to her anymore. 2: Myrtle tried to do something even more stupid than she has done before, and gave no one else a chance to keep her around. The latter would be better, because then Snape could still possibly vote Peeves if Tonks wants to and those two are close enough. The former though I see no way around other than trying to work with Peeves, because he's not going to be voted out and I don't think I'm going to have the numbers to beat him. |

![]() Hello again darlings, Rita Skeeter here for another in your face interview. Please answer truthfully. Remember you mustn’t tell lies. Q1: The conclusion of this round marks the half-way point of this game. How has the game changed since the start? Do you feel safer? Have more power? Q2: Have you thought about pooling your galleons together to purchase items? If so, with who? If not, why? Q3: If you could bring back one eliminated player, who would it be and why? Q4: Likewise, who should have been eliminated already and why? Q5: At this point in the game, is it wise to vote for keeping the tribe strong, or should other factors take precedence before that? Q6: Compare every player on your tribe with a gif of your choosing to celebrate the great GifOff. |

1: I feel just as safe for the time being, I don't think I ever have been in any danger. I guess I could be right now because my inactive streaks have been getting worse the past few, well weeks really. I feel as if I have more power though even with that. 2: No, because why bother. It's not like any of that stuff is helpful for the time being. I'll buy something when it looks like there might actually be a close vote. 3: Myrtle, so I can backstab and eliminate her myself AFTER she was done being useful, not before. 4: Voldemort, because I have no clue what Figg was thinking. 5: This TC, definitely keep the tribe strong, because Voldemort is completely useless to everyone. After that I don't know. 6: No. No, I don't know why I'm annoyed at everything right now. |

I agree, most of those things are really just conversation starters when I have nowhere else to start with someone. |

Hagrid, I do actually think I have a chance to win. Just not with you. EDIT: Also, it's "morale". Morals are things that stories have. Edited by Madame Hooch, Jun 28 2014, 03:14:14 PM.

Also, sorry but I actually think us losing right now is better for me than winning. Who knows who is going to be going home on the Death Eaters, but there is a very good chance that it will be a key person that would help Figg and I during merge. Something tells me it'll be Luna. Like, maybe I could have tried a little bit harder on the map challenge, but I really couldn't think of a better strategy. The fact that I was on an inactive streak doesn't help either. I'd say only about 30% of my apathy that challenge was intentionally trying to throw it. And I really wasn't trying to throw this one at all, the fact that I made a guess ending in 1 should show that. It's just that I guessed wrong. But seriously, at this point I think us going to TC is better for me than them going to TC. Sorry, but I don't actually think you have a chance at all. I think I do, so I'm going to be playing it my way. |

Mentioning the possibility of a merge before the next challenge to Hagrid got this reaction.Does he actually want an OotP alliance or does he realize that I don't care for him at all and is trying to appease me? |

Hey Hagrid. Make it more obvious that you don't trust me, why don't you. See if we still end up voting Draco. |

Okay, I am making really bad decisions right now. The edit in the tribe forum was because I had actually posted my opinion about regretting not being able to backstab Myrtle myself in public. I felt that was safe enough because making everyone sure that I didn't have any ulterior motives for wanting her back, and also if they thought I did then they could just tell that to Myrtle to ruin any chance of it working. But then Neville pointed out to me via PM that Draco could still see the tribe forum, and he also could probably talk to Myrtle. That would kind of make this entire thing pointless. |

![]() Hello darlings. Are you ready to spill your secrets once more? Q1: The Invisibility Cloak may or may not be out there floating around. How does this effect how you play your game from here on out and who do you think is the most likely candidate to have it? Q2: Likewise, someone may have won the Resurrection Stone. Have you put any thought into who may return and what it means for your game? And who do you think possibly may have won it? Q3: Was the amount of galleons your tribe spent on the House Cup higher or lower than you expected? Q4: There has been a lot of talk about a merge soon. When would the ideal time to merge be for you? Q5: Who is your closest ally on this tribe? And who are your allies on the other tribe, if any? |

1: I think I trust Hagrid when he says that he didn't win the cloak, so that means someone on the Death Eaters have it. I'll have to ask around there once we come in contact again, because they may know if their numbers didn't add up. 2: There was something that allowed for a returnee?!?!?!? 3: I wasn't really paying attention to how much everyone else was supposed to be spending on the cup, but I'd say it's about equal to what I expected, which was just more than was spent on the stone. 4: Before this TC starts. I believe I've been over this. 5: Figg. Luna/Fenrir, and possibly Tonks but probably not. |

I'll just give an explanation for 4 anyway, because I'm not sure I've actually been over it in here already. I absolutely did not want to lose this challenge, because with Hagrid saying that he was bidding on the cloak we couldn't vote him out, so we'd be forced to vote out George. The Death Eaters though could vote out one of Luna/Fenrir, which could be worse than George leaving. There's still a chance that they'll vote out someone else though, so we need to take it. |

While it would be amusing to bring back Seamus and have the entire class be back together, the last thing we need is for him to hate the rest of our class to death and then blow up again when we need to vote him out. Like, I would consider joking about it in the classroom, but that would probably hurt him even more if he's still able to see that. Even though I wouldn't have to deal with that, the mods, spectators and eliminated players would have to, so I really don't want to ignite him again. |

...actually this is looking too good. There has to be some conflict, or else it's going to get to having to turn on ourselves way too early, and in that case I can't guarantee my own safety. Well, Myrtle should be a benefit either way until Neville decides to tell her that I was looking forward to backstabbing her. I'm really going to have to think about this. |
