Anduin and Sapphire Slayers, with an extra tribe member apiece, you must each sit one person out.

Might as well condense everything into one thread. First order of business, who's sitting out? I'm going to be active during this time period, so I think I'll participate.

I like the shooting all Red idea.

Though, shooting ourselves is a little risky. It guarantees half of us are damaged, and if the other two tribes don't target those three players, then they will be damaged for no reason.

Remember, everyone but Nazgul has 2 lives.

Should any of us defend? I feel all of us shooting is still kind of risky. Unless you mean everyone shooting goes for red.

The strategy behind having one man defend and another shoot him is so you know that you will have one man with full health. I think it is a little risky to all aim for Red. Right now, at least for most of us, the odds of being shot at are pretty slim except by Red. So everyone shotting the sky or going half shooting Red and half shooting air could work too.

I just think that is a waste of two men.

Meh, this entire game is just wifom. There is no better strategy.

I'm going to be active pretty much the entire afternoon, but if you are not, please tell us so we can do something now.

Wait wait wait. After thinking about it - why go after Red?

If Green lost a tribe member, and then Red loses a tribe member, that makes us the primary target. We don't want to be the tribe with the most numbers. It'd almost make more sense for us all to go after Green.

Unfortunately I don't think I am allowed to give any advice or my opinion about how to play this challenge.

What I will say, is that I thought that it was necessary for this challenge to be on at 8pm EST last night and I did not know that the challenge would not require being on at that time; only that the challenge would start at that time and we could submit actions for 24 hours.

If the mods could make that clearer in the future for those of us with odd schedules, that would be most welcome/appreciated.

The definition of a Non-Live challenge (Read: Different than the type that Challenge 01 was) that's been generally accepted by the community is one that does not require your immediate attention.

Why would the team with the most members be the target? Remember, this challenge is only about who loses first, so the bigger teams would just aim to get rid of the weakest team. If we get Red weak, the Green team has no reason to go for us since all they have to do is eliminate Red.

5 hours. I'm unsure about my availability going into the evening, but the general consensus is that we either shoot the air or shoot red. I'm going to submit my BOROMIR shot soon unless someone objects.

I'm considering shooting Bormir too, because then if we're both successful he's just out.

Better make a decision, less than 3 hours left. If you don't want to shoot, it's still better to inform us.

I am referring to long term strategy. If green and red both lose a member then next challenge/in the future both of them will go after our tribe and if we go into a merge/switch with the most members of three tribes the other two tribes will team up against us. The way around this is if our team and red team both keep winning. Then in the future neither of us are targets as we can team up with red to continue to knock out green and come merge the targets on all of our backs are smaller.

I'm either going to Rest or I will shoot Aragorn if he requests it. I'll make my decision in an hour if Aragorn had posted or not. I think the best strategy is a mixed strategy.

That's dumb. The lesser tribes would aim for eachother if that were the case. The goal is to knock another team out first, not survive the entire challenge.

Goth - I'm referring to LONG TERM strategy. I am not referring to them teaming up in THIS challenge. Green has already lost a tribe member and gone to TC. If Red goes to TC next then our tribe will become the biggest target in the future because we have 7 members and they will both have 6. It will also make us a target come merge/switch and red/green will band together because we will have more members.
