I've already consumed Lembas for it. We have that little edge at least.

I say we keep trying to win, and keep our team as strong as we can for as long as we can.

Hmmm, interesting as this is a well-known map and the divisions are just squares in the middle. This makes me think that they made the squares before actually deciding on how to divide us. More analysis later, thinking about it.

And Haldir, do not mention what items you have to anyone else. This goes for everybody. We need every advantage we can get.

I think we should go for the following six spots:

A1, A3, A4, B4, C3, C4 ... none of them have the dotted line, and none of them have a particular river I'm suspicious of.

I considered the paths taken in the series. Here's what I think they are, if anyone thinks they have any relevance at all:

Lord of the Rings: B1, B2, C2, D2, D3, D4

The Hobbit: B1, B2, B3

I've also closely studied Elrond's original post for any hints but can't find anything.

One last alternative is this:

Do not pick ours spots ASAP... Hope one or both of the other tribes figure out the divide and all go for the immunity ... thus leaving us six spots on the same tribe, huge benefit is we will have all our tribe members on the same tribe.

I really doubt it, due to the vagueness of the clues. Unless we are missing something super obvious, there are many possible "answers" here. I do think we are missing something, but no one can find it yet. Hell, I doubt anyone else even used the bread this round.

I still think it's the dotted lines thing. It has to be something that eight and exactly eight squares have that the other eight do not. I think it's 100% better to at least have some attempt at a strategy rather than all just go randomly.

OK, I'm going to suggest looking at the clues given by Elrond. Maybe there is a cryptic or something hidden in there.

Other idea is the mountain range starting at A1 and snaking down to D3 (8 spaces).

A3, A4, B4, C3, C4 - I say we go for these 5. There are now three scenarios where these five are on the same tribe.

Those sound fine, Nazgul. Which sector do you guys want to choose?

Agreed. I doubt anyone's going to target any of them first. I really doubt that's the answer though. Seems too clustered imo.

I have a good feeling about this :-).

Just putting this out there... if the tribes land overly lopsided (5 blues + 1 extra) on one tribe, or even 4 blues and 2 extras, I'd hope that the tribe with more blues can at least throw the first challenge or so to give the two others of us who are in the minority actual time to wiggle in and work our way into the group.

If the tribes break down 4 Blues + 2 Green/Reds and 4 Red/Greens + 2 Blues, those two blue players will be eliminated for sure. They may even throw their challenge to try and eliminate them as well. Keep this in mind after we see the new tribes. Hopefully, we'll be fine and land with a good balance of 3 and 3.

Hm, actually how are the tribes gonna be broken down... two tribes of 8? I think I miscounted. Not surprising. Lol

Yeah, actually 3 on one tribe and 3 on the other is the worst situation we could actually land in. Oops. Nevermind. Still, if we have a majority on one tribe though lets consider it.

Balance of 3 vs 3 is bad for us.

Best case scenario: 5 & 1 split. 5 on one tribe of 8 is a majority, we knock out the other 3.

If 1 goes on a tribe of say, 4 red and 3 green, the greens will HAVE to work with that 1 blue, because if they vote off that blue, then those 3 greens will be gone next. So those 3 greens become that 1 blue's ally.

Yeah that sounds about right. For some reason I thought we were breaking down into tribes of 6 again, my mistake.

I just claimed a spot without reading this thread first but apparently I picked a good one according to Nazgul's plan.

We'll deal with the situation as best we can.

Haldir - I think you should push Pippin(?) off C3 and steal it from him.
