Hey there.......and welcome to what you will find to be a informative article.  This is my first attempt at an article at this site so I hope you enjoy it.

While Spellcaster decks may not be considered as Tier one decks in the eyes of many players, recent releases helped immensely in further supporting such a playstyle.  I will break down some of the individual cards and their variable usefulness in a deck such as this.

Dark Magician of Chaos: a solid 2800 beatstick on top of retrieving a Spell card.  Add to it the ability to remove the monsters it destroys from play and it is a force to be reckoned with.

Chaos Command Magician: While this card has fallen out of favor some time ago, its effect helps it to protect itself from some of the regular creature destroyers/removers (Chaos Sorceror, Zaborg, Night Assailant, Exiled Force, D.D. Warrior Lady, D.D Assailant)

Cybernetic Magician: What this card lacks in card advantage, its effect makes up for.  Being able to make any monster into a 2000 attacker (even your opponent’s if they are running a overpowering deck) is an ability not to be taken lightly....especially if used on Injection Fairy Lily on a wide open opponent and then using her effect to pump her even further for a rather hard smack to your opponent’s life points.

Injection Fairy Lily: Her effect may be costly but can be most useful off Magician’s Circle after your first monster has already paved the way for her.........plus since you don’t have to declare her effect till damage step, it might make your opponent second guess wasting a Sakuretsu Armor or something when you don’t necessarily have to pump her.

Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer/Skilled Dark Magician: Solid ATK power on both........plus Kycoo’s effect will at least keep your opponent’s graveyard a lil thinner plus prevent them from summoning Chaos Sorcerer and the like as long as he remains on the field.

Apprentice Magician: Best when used in combo with Breaker, giving him a second chance to pop an opponent’s face down after using his token the first time.  Also good to help search out a MOF or Old Vindictive in a hurry.

Magical Dimension: One of the main centerpieces of this deck.  It helps to eliminate some of the weakness of this type of deck by tributing some of your flip monsters after their effect is used such as Gravekeeper’s Guard, Apprentice Magician and Magician of Faith and summoning more powerful monsters such as Dark Magician of Chaos.

Since most of the monsters in the deck require only a single sacrifice, Magical Dimension adds an added punch by giving you the option of destroying a monster on the field as well.  In addition, if a monster is destroyed via this card’s effect, the monster you summon can not be destroyed with a summoning stopper such as Bottomless Trap Hole or Torrential Tribute since they would miss the timing.

It can also be used during battle after already attacking your opponent with a Spellcaster and then using this to sac off the monster you just attacked with for another monster with a possible wide open shot at your opponent’s life points

Another use of this card and possibly its best one is usually in response to when one of your Spellcasters is about to be taken away via Snatch Steal or destroyed via effect or in battle.

Magician’s Circle: Another key element to this deck as it allows you to keep your monsters pounding at your opponent’s life points.  While this card does allow your opponent to summon a monster as well, most decks are very thin on Spellcasters so you might end up forcing out your opponent’s Breaker without being able to get his token or possibly even a Magician of Faith since there are the normally the only two main Spellcasters seen in most decks aside from Tsukuyomi who can’t be Special Summoned.

Cards such as Sangan and Scapegoat are there for additional fodder for Magical Dimension just so long as you have another face up Spellcaster on the field.

The deck build would go as follows:

Dark Magician of Chaos x1
Chaos Command Magician x2
Cybernetic Magician x1
Injection Fairy Lily x1
Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer x3
Skilled Dark Magician x2
Apprentice Magician x2
Magician of Faith x2
Old Vindictive Magician x2
Sangan x1
Breaker the Magical Warrior x1
Tsukuyomi x1

Magical Dimension x3
Smashing Ground x2
Heavy Storm x1
Mystical Space Typhoon x1
Graceful Charity x1
Premature Burial x1
Snatch Steal x1
Book of Moon x1
Scapegoat x1
Pot of Avarice x1

Magician's Circle x2
Bottomless Trap Hole x2
Sakeretsu Armor x2
Mirror Force x1
Torrential Tribute x1

As previously stated, this may not be the most popular form of deck right now but its efficiency makes it worth trying.

Yes you can discuss it but in a respectful manner and or until you obviously see that the other person won't change their opinion.

Theres only 5 lights in the deck so Sorcerer wont be a good choice for it, sorcerer is good I know but you can win without him, and with the deck packing magical dimension I think it can deal with opposing sorceres and Zaborgs since its a quick play.

Plus sorceror is banned now, so no point in suggesting him, like I said before great article and remember my suggestions. Hopefully they will help you in the future.

Glad to see you on the team.

He's not banned until September 1st Twisted, so that statement is still valid.
