Yo folks, how's it going? As I said in my greeting post, I am more than happy to be here. Many of you know me, and many of you don't. This is where you get to know the "true" me: I LOVE to make decks better than they already are. If you look at my posts from other sites, a majority of them lie in the deck depots, rating and fixing other decks. Now, when I came here and found out that I could have my own garage, I was like, "oh hell yes." So here are the rules:: 1) Post up a deck 2) Wait 1-2 days 3) Be happy Thanks to everyone that takes interest in this garage, I promise you that you will not regret taking part in it. Thanks, ~Ody |

ChaosCommandMagician:: - 2 Kuriboh - 1 Brron, Man King of the Dark World - 3 Forced Requisition - 3 Magical Thorn + 1 Goldd, Wu-Lord of the Dark World + 1 Mystic Tomato + 1 Creature Swap + 1 Heavy Storm + 1 Pot of Avarice + 3 Jar of Greed + 1 Dark Deal The main thing I tried to accomplish when adding in my suggestions for the deck was to create a new, speedy power engine the deck would work great with. Dark World decks tend to be either insanly fast or incredibly slow, and these fixes should break the two extremities and remold them into one fast running deck. Three Goldd and 2 Silvaa are almost always a neccessitie for a Dark World deck. Being the strongest of their type, there really isn't much reason not to run a triple-duo combination of both. Mystic Tomato and Creature Swap are part of the engine that starts the game up. One of the biggest problems I have faced when playing with a Dark World deck is the lack of monster removal. While it's hard to add in monster removal into a Dark World deck, it's easier to just steal your opponent's monsters altogether and not have to worry about that Mobius or Zaborg dropping down from their hand. Instead, they will have to worry about their Zaborg beating them to death while the Dark World monsters swarm them. Three Dark Deal seem really ideal to me. When you are really low in the count, Dark Deal could completly turn the duel around for you, gaining the advantage on the field or in the hand. Although I love the synergy with Forced Requisition, Magical Thorn and Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch, you don't want to over do yourself by forcing yourself to topdeck something you don't need. Instead, I suggested Jar of Greed. Now, you may be thinking to yourself "Why the hell would ANYONE suggest Jar of Greed at all?" And it's a fair question. Although Jar of Greed could be just as bad of a top deck as either FR or MT, it can speed your deck up a lot, and if you manage to get two in your opening hand, you are bound to get at least a + 1 advantage: MST, Breaker the Magical Warrior, Heavy Storm, and any other kind of trap removal your opponent may run is bound to be in their hand in the opening move, so abuse this by running three Jar of Greed. I love your deck, if I was a netdecker, you'd be number 1 on my list lol. ~JK - 1 Widespread Ruin - 1 Smashing Ground - 1 Premature Burial + 1 Sakuretsu Armor + 1 Creature Swap + 1 Confiscation I was pretty scared when I saw this deck. It’s almost exactly what I am running right now, and there is good reason why the two of us are using the same kind of deck: because it wins. To start off, I believe if you are going to run Widespread Ruin, you better max out on Sakuretsu Armor first. While both cards tend to do “the same thing,” Sakuretsu Armor can be responded to an attack by that little Spirit Reaper that wants to hit your life points directly while there is a Monarch on the field. With all the recruiters in your deck, there isn’t really a good reason to run a pair of Creature Swap in your deck. The ability to turn your opponent’s monster to your side of the field, gain advantage through attacking one of your own monsters, and then hitting your opponents’ life points with their own monster is too good of a feature to not max out on. Confiscation is just a staple in my book, especially when it comes to Apprentice Magician / Monarch Control. It’s a great card to get the early advantage with, and there’s no better way to start off a featured match than by reading “~JK opened with Confiscation.” You did a great job building that deck, you should do very well in ANY tournament you play in. Gilfer:: - 1 Sakuretsu Armor + 1 Treeborn Frog I was wondering when I would see decks like this pop up. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to make many suggestions for this deck, but it’s hard to find them when this is obviously going to be one of the best deck-types in the format. The abuse of Robbin’ Gobblin you run and the Creature Swap aspect of a deck being merged into one makes this one of the most competitive decks around. I’m sure you’ve seen a ton of success with this deck, and there is good reason. If you run a solid side deck, there is no reason you should not do well in any tournament you play in. Treeborn Frog is too good of a card to not run in this deck. With dual Creature Swap at your disposal and 3 Monarchs ready to get rid of your opponent's hand, Treeborn Frog fits in perfectly. Also, with all the monster removal you have, you don't want to screw yourself over by removing a monster from the field that you yourself could abuse. Thanks, and I hope these fixes help you all, ~Ody |

That was supposed to say "With all the recruiters in your deck, there isn't really a good reason to NOT run a pair of Creature Swap." My bad about that lol. Keep the decks coming, I'm here to help, not to wait lol. ~Ody |

Rising:: - 2 Toon Goblin Attack Force - 2 Submarineroid - 2 Des Koala + 1 Injection Fairy Lily / Cyber-Stein + 1 Zaborg / Mobius + 1 Creature Swap + 1 Scapegoat + 1 Last Will + 1 Sangan I usually wouldn't suggest either an Injection Fairy Lily or Cyber-Stein to a deck, but in this case it seems neccessary. With Emergency Provisions used to get rid of those Royal Decree / whatever you have set, lifepoints are definitly going to be in your favor in at least on point in the duel. With this excess amount of life points, use either Stein or IFL to strike fear in your opponent's heart. Now, with IFL or Stein in this deck, the next best card to use would be Last Will. With all of your tributes and a dual pair of Exiled Force, Will should make a significant increase in the amount of field prescence you obtain. With Last Will now in the deck, another tribute monster is neccessary. The more tributes you have, the more chances you have to abuse Last Will. Creature Swap, Sangan, and Scapegoat are all cards of your choice. With plenty of monsters with 1000 ATK points or less, Sangan is a great choice for this deck. With dual Asura Priest and a plethora of low attack monsters, Creature Swap is a great addition to this deck. Lastly, where there is a Creature Swap, there are Scapegoat tokens close behind. The two combo perfectly together, and should make a great addition to your deck. Good luck, ~Ody P.S. : It's good to see that someone else knows that Shrink is about to be reprinted lol. |

Thanks for your help. However, part of the point of having Forced in there was so that I got a bigger advantage when I used DW abilities. So, I instead took out Robbin Goblin, since once you get out some DW, you may not even get to their LP (especially when they topdeck a reaper). Anyway, I'll try out my deck based on most of your edits. Thanks a lot. |

Ok, I tried your edits, and unfortunately, they made the deck worse. I'll work on it some more, but might ask for your help later on. For now, I'm gonna go back to what I had, and try to figure out a working deck. BTW, when I first tried this deck with most of your edits, I ended up being called a noob. And while I am a good player of the game, I jsut can't make great decks 80% of the time. |

BlueLightning1:: - 1 Mystic Swordsman LV. 2 - 1 The Fiend Megacyber - 1 Bottomless Trap Hole - 1 D.D. Assailant + 1 Torrential Tribute + 1 Pot of Avarice + 1 Exiled Force + 1 Last Will While two Mystic Swordsman LV. 2 has the ability to take out multiple face-down monsters, one MSLV. 2 should be enough for this job. Instead, use a card that has the ability to take out face-down monsters as well has face-up monsters, Monarchs especially. Your deck doesn’t use much monster removal outside of the traps, and when those are used up the next best thing to use to get rid of a monster is a monster itself. The Fiend Megacyber might be a filler for Cyber Dragon, but with the added monster removal card in your deck, your opponent will rarely have two more monsters on the field than yourself. Instead, try using a Last Will to special summon a monster to your field. Not only do you have two Exiled Force in your deck to combo Last Will with, you have tributes, your opponents’ monster removal cards, and two Enemy Controller to send your own monster to the graveyard in exchange for the use of your opponents’ monster for a turn. D.D. Assailant is restricted to one, so it’s an obvious card to take out of this deck. While taking a monster out for something other than a monster may not appeal to many people, Pot of Avarice is just as good as having a monster. With so many cards that can be sent to the graveyard easily, using a Pot of Avarice to reuse them and draw two cards is not bad at all. If you want to get technical, you have the ability to use Exiled Forces’ effect an unlimited amount of times depending on whether or not Magician of Faith and Pot of Avarice keep going through a cycle. Lastly, Bottomless Trap Hole is a great card, but Torrential Tribute is even better, especially for this deck. With 2 Elemental Hero Wildheart to stop traps from affecting them, Torrential Tribute can clear your opponent’s field for you, then give you room for a 1500 attack. (Summon Wildheart, flip TT, attack for 1500) Leonheart:: - 2 Solemn Wishes - 1 Heavy Storm + 1 Wave-Motion Cannon + 1 Pot of Avarice + 1 Gravity Bind Solemn Wishes are good in a deck with much drawing power only to a certain extent. After a while, 500 life points just doesn’t seem like enough to support yourself against oncoming attacks from Mobius or other commonly played Monarch in the meta right now. Instead of gaining a small amount of life-points, use a card that can stall for you for a while in order to rack up some hits against your opponent, a card like Gravity Bind. The good thing about Gravity Bind in this deck is the fact that it won’t really hurt you in any way shape or form: most of your monsters can still attack, you have stall power to burn your opponent with, and you can draw more and more cards with cards like Graceful Charity and Des Lacooda. There’s no such thing as an overdoes of Wave-Motion Cannon. I know you know the feeling: when your opponent plays WMC there’s that sudden urge that nothing else matters other than getting it off the field. This happens to a TON of people, and this urgency needs to be abused. While they are in their state of getting WMC off the field, they will tend to make a ton of misplays, and these misplays must be used to your advantage. Using 3 WMC increases the chances of this happening. Pot of Avarice is just about the best card to use when you need something to burn your opponent with. I know you may be thinking “but Pot of Avarice doesn’t burn my opponent at all!” when in fact, it does. Using PoA when there are burn monsters in the graveyard increases the chances of you drawing them again, thus creating more chances to burn your opponent. I hope these fixes helped you guys out. Good luck, ~Ody |
