7 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. The Chancellor of Arctic States Donald Ward welcomed representatives from PLR, Oak Leaf, and Kumania to a meeting in Dymaxion. Five interns in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were sent to Dymaxion on behalf of King Jimmy, who was too exhausted from his recent trips to Latrovia and PLR, and feared for his safety if he went to Dymaxion. However, his fears became reality as two of the five interns were violently attacked by Chancellor Ward, and the five departed with Nancy Mildew of Oak Leaf after arguments became extremely tense. Fortunately, the five interns are back in Kumania City after a long day. It is rumored that King Jimmy ordered Minister of Foreign Affairs Julian Basque to send five of his Ministry's interns to Dymaxion in place of either King Jimmy or Minister Basque. All five interns were barely only 18 years old. While it is expected that sending the five 18 year old interns to Dymaxion will cause controversy, any such controversy is being overshadowed right now. The Kumania Bowl was hosted in Kumania City tonight, with King Jimmy, Crown Princess Gloria, the leaders of the Royal Parliament, the Chief Justice of the Royal Supreme Court, all four Ministers, and members of the Latrovian Royal Family, including King Alexander I, in attendance. However, the game has caused a bunch of controversy. The Fredericton Fighters defeated the Quebec Runners 24-10. As the Fredericton Fighters are severely disliked by fans of the Kumania City Royals for eliminating the Royals from the playoffs, and the fact that the game was held at the Stadium of the Royal Republic, the home stadium of the Royals, there were mostly Royals fans in attendance at the game. And these fans did not like that the team that eliminated their home team won the national championship on their soil. As soon as the game ended, fans threw garbage onto the field. Right now outside the stadium, there is a standoff between rioters and local law enforcement. King Jimmy and the other top officials were evacuated as soon as the fans revolted at the end of the game, and are currently safe inside the Royal Palace. King Jimmy has not ruled out ordering the military to be deployed to calm the rioters. He said, "This rioting is completely unacceptable and puts a horrible image on the capital city of Kumania! If these rioters do not completely disperse before midnight, I shall call in all five branches of the military! Sure it's not common that you'd see troops from the Royal Space Force calming rioters, but I'm leaving all options on the table. These rioters need to grow the fuck up. Baseball is starting in two months. I definitely do not want to see any more of this horrible behavior when the season of my favorite sport begins!" And finally, the rogue nation of Poltovaria pretty much declared war on everyone this evening. This doesn't come as a shock to anyone in the international community as they typically don't take Poltovaria seriously. Minister of Haley DeFronz joked before the Kumania Bowl, "These Poltovarians could easily be squashed by only two Kumanian starships. If they ever laid a finger on Kumania, only a single finger would remain of them!" This announcement by the Poltovarians came shortly after the Poltovarians tried to crash the meeting in Dymaxion. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

8 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. After riots broke out after the end of the Kumania Bowl, and rioters refused to disperse before midnight, King Jimmy authorized the Ministry of Defense to intervene in controlling the unruly crowd. Minister of Defense Haley DeFronz sent in a few squads from the Royal Kumanian Space Force to end the rioting. This was the debut of a new high-tech gun developed by the RKSF. This weapon uses charges energy that is released as a group of cylindrical photons instead of bullets. Although the use of energy instead of bullets is quite amazing, what's more amazing is these weapons have two modes: Stun and Kill. The troops sent in had their guns set on stun. If a target is hit by one of the beams from this photon gun while the gun is set to stun mode, they will fall unconscious for a few hours. However, if a target is hit by a beam while the gun is set to kill mode, the target will be instantly killed if hit in the head or neck or heart or any other vital organs, or be seriously injured if hit anywhere else. King Jimmy wanted the easiest solution to end the rioting without causing anyone to be killed, which is why he personally heavily favored the use of these photon guns. It's been announced that the other branches of the military and law enforcement agencies across the country will phase out their regular guns and tasers and begin using these photon guns. It is expected that civilians will be able to purchase photon guns currently at the earliest being next year. These photon guns will be upgraded in the future. The current photon guns act like semiautomatic pistols. However, it's expected that more varieties of photon guns will be created that are like rifles and can be operated like automatic guns. These photon guns made it extremely easy to end the rioting, and all rioters were able to be taken into custody without being injured by the authorities. King Jimmy held a great press conference today to talk about his visit to PLR, the upcoming Parliament elections, the meeting in Dymaxion, and King Alexander I of Latrovia's visit to Kumania. In regards to his meeting with PLR, he said, "the meeting with President Azman was quite an experience. We talked about Arctic States, and agreed that PLR may deploy up to 20,000 troops along the border between Kumania and Arctic States to act as a deterrent from either nation invading the other." In regards to the Dymaxion meeting, in which five interns of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were sent to represent the affairs of Kumania, King Jimmy said, "I'm outraged at Donald Ward! How dare he lay a finger on any of my people! I deeply regret giving the order to have five young interns be sent to that dangerous land. However, it has shown us that this government of Arctic States is just a bunch of uncivilized barbarians! I'm so glad that at least Nancy Mildew was there to protect and rescue the interns. Without her aid, I'd be speaking about my resignation today as no leader can remain in power after sending five young interns into a dangerous foreign land that they never agreed to be sent to. Sending people into dangerous lands is what we have a military for, and none of the interns had military background. But anyways, I'm declaring that Kumania will never participate in so called 'diplomatic meetings' in dangerous places anymore! If others of whom we have conflict with wish to engage in diplomacy with us ever again, they will have to meet in a neutral safe location like Merlinton or Kedalistan." King Jimmy also talked about the Latrovian King visiting. Jimmy announced that he and King Alexander I will engage in heavy talks regarding a possible alliance. Although Jimmy hasn't publicly stated it, it's rumored that he feels a little threatened by this new alliance that is being forged between PLR and Arctic States. Latrovia is another superpower that recognizes the dangers of this alliance between Arctic States, which is why Latrovia would be a good ally to have as long as the Latrovians do not actively seek starting wars. Kumania of course tries to be as pacifist as possible, more now after that war with PLR and Arctic States last fall. However, it's expected that if an alliance is forged, Calofas would be invited to join this alliance as Calofas has a very powerful economy and could use it as leverage against those who are deemed as a threat to liberty. King Jimmy also announced that President Azman of PLR will be visiting Kumania after he's done with his work in Arctic States to talk to King Jimmy. And finally, King Jimmy announced that the general election for Parliament which determines how many seats each party will get in Parliament from each province will occur on 26 March 2016, while the primary election which determines the members of Parliament will be held a week later on 2 April 2016. A poll released today indicates that the Conservatives are in danger of losing some seats to the fascist Kumania Imperialist Party, especially in Kenora, Hudson, and Labradour. Meanwhile, no changes are currently expected for the Libertarian Socialist and Communist Parties. All political parties must be registered by 27 February 2016. While the poll released today didn't include them, the centrist moderate Liberal Party will register soon and could sway some voters away from the Conservatives and the Libertarian Socialists. The Royal Parliament could potentially consist of five parties after the election--an extreme right-wing party, a center-right party, a centrist party, a center-left party, and an extreme left-wing party. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

9 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and these are today's top stories. A list of potential nominees for Minister of Internal Affairs was released today. Among these nominees is the current Speaker of Parliament, Michelle Michaels. Speaker Michaels hasn't commented on the list, but a staffer for the Speaker said that if Speaker Michaels was appointed Minister of Internal Affairs, she would prefer the Libertarian Socialist Party to be led by MP Paulina Sands from Ontario. And of course if the Libertarian Socialists manage to remain in power, the leader of the party is expected to become the Speaker of Parliament. The first televised debate between the leaders of the parties is scheduled for the night of 27 February. It's currently expected that only five parties will participate in the debates and elections. The Communist Party, Libertarian Socialist Party, Liberal Party, Conservative Party, and Imperialist Party have all officially registered to be on the ballot in the general election on 26 March. KNN will be hosting the first televised debate on 27 February. The leaders of the five parties will debate between each other during the debate. Since it's uncertain whether Michelle Michaels will run for reelection, Paulina Sands could represent the Libertarian Socialists at the debate. In other news, President Azman of PLR arrived in Kumania City today. However, we're not sure if he was able to meet with King Jimmy at all today since Jimmy was apparently in a meeting with King Alexander I of Latrovia all day long. When Jimmy and Azman do meet, it is expected that the new alliance forged between Arctic States and PLR will be a heavy topic brought up. The Imperialist Party is strongly campaigning on the threat of Arctic States, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the Imperialists actually win a majority in a couple provinces in the general election. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

10 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. Prince Dominic of Latrovia and Crown Princess Gloria announced their engagement this morning. This comes as the Latrovian Royal Family is visiting Kumania this week, and King Jimmy and King Alexander I are in talks over an alliance between Kumania and Latrovia. President Azman of PLR is also in Kumania this week, and the 20,000 Arab troops arrived in western Kumania today to begin guarding our western border. Speaker of Parliament Michelle Michaels spoke about her candidacy for Minister of Internal Affairs this afternoon. She declared that she would only not run for reelection if King Jimmy himself supported her becoming Minister of Internal Affairs. King Jimmy has not been able to make a single comment regarding the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the future Minister of Internal Affairs since he signed the Constitutional Amendment that established the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The new self-proclaimed leader of the Kumanian Imperialist Party, Mark Swenson, announced today that the Imperialist Party was still a growing movement and that the massacre in Moosonee didn't weaken the party at all. He announced that his party will campaign throughout the nation to gain supporters and declares that no one should dare try to resist them. The governors of Ontario and Erie declared that they will set up inspection checkpoints along their provincial border with Huron to try to prevent these "radial extremists" from entering their provinces and causing harm to their people. And finally, it was announced today that all of the provincial governments will also be involved in the elections next month. All governors and all provincial legislatures will face another election. The reasoning for including local government in elections is to have a good cleansing of the local governments just as the Royal Parliament will be cleansed. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

11 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. A recent poll of Kumanians found that this upcoming election will see both the Libertarian Socialists and the Conservatives lose seats and key provinces. These seats would apparently be lost to the Communists, the Liberals, and the Imperialists. The Communists have announced their intention to campaign heavily in Miquelon, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Erie, the provinces whom have populations that live mostly in urban areas. Meanwhile, the Imperialist Party has filed a lawsuit against the governments of Erie and Ontario on the basis that these checkpoints installed by the respective provincial governments violate the free speech of those in the Imperialist Party. While obviously it is doubtful that any of the southern urban provinces will cast a single vote for the fascists, the poll indicated that the strongest support for the Imperialists comes from Kenora and Hudson. For more analysis of this poll, we turn to our senior elections expert, Dr. Frank Burlington. SB: Hello Dr. Burlington. FB: Hello, Sally. SB. So, Mr. Burlington, what does this poll mean to the average Kumanian voter? FB: Well Sally, it shows them that these fascist, communist, and moderate movements do have a lot of support. However, I dismiss some aspects of it such as how it mentions that provincial governments could be won by the Communists, Liberals, and Imperialists. SB: I understand. What do you think the reaction from the Libertarian Socialists and the Conservatives will be? FB: I'll expect them to campaign a ton in the suspected provinces. Ontario especially will receive a ton of campaigning from the Libertarian Socialists. That's the largest province. It's a powerhouse for the Libertarian Socialists, but it's possible that voters might begin to feel like the Libertarian Socialists could be too centrist for them! SB: Now, the poll didn't ask voters about the engagement between Crown Princess Gloria and Prince Dominic, but do you think this engagement will have an effect on how voters view the Royal Family? FB: Yes. Now the Imperialists have openly called for the removal of the Royal Family. That's understandable. The Kumas, may their family forever be greatly blessed, are a typically leftist family, and as long as they're in power, the head of state of Kumania will be left wing. SB: What about the other parties? FB: Well, it is known that even though the Kumanian monarch hasn't had conservative tendencies in decades, the Conservatives don't like that much change. However, since Gloria is marrying a foreign prince who one day may be leading his own country, that could stir some questions within the party. So therefore I consider the Conservatives a wild card. As for the Liberals, well they obviously advocate smaller government, and in their opinion having an unelected head of state that inherits their position is too much power for the government so they would try to remove the Royal Family like the Imperialists. Same with the Communists actually. Communism is all about revolution and the workers of the world uniting and eventually living in an anarchic-socialist society, and of course in such a society, no government can exist. So they support removing the Royal Family as well. The Libertarian Socialists of course support the Royal Family as long as they support them. King Jimmy is a democratic socialist. Princess Gloria is a democratic socialist. The Latrovian Royal Family is full of democratic socialists. As long as the royalty is full of democratic socialists, the party that believes in democratic socialism will give them their support. SB: I'm guessing King Jimmy probably wouldn't like this poll too much would he, considering parties that practically are in opposition to him being in power are gaining tremendous support? FB: Yeah, I think it's safe to say that King Jimmy is probably praying to every deity that the Libertarian Socialists maintain their majority in Parliament. SB: So last question, where do you reckon most of the Liberal supporters are coming from? FB: They're mostly coming from the Libertarian Socialist Party. Some Conservatives, but an overwhelming majority of Liberal candidates that I've seen are the same ones voted out of office after they voting for the cuts to subsidies that caused the Great Implosion last spring. I mentioned how there's some who feel the Libertarian Socialists are too centrist, but now you have the usually ignored centrist wing of the party in full revolt as they feel the Libertarian Socialists are too leftist! Do I think they feel sorry for causing our economic meltdown? No, they obviously don't. However, their argument will most likely be that it was necessary and indeed the only way to get our economy going again was to have 100% capitalism again. I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like that again. The Conservatives only have the Imperialists to worry about, but the Libertarian Socialists have both the Communists and Liberals to worry about. In the end, I think we're going to have quite an interesting election cycle Sally! SB: Thanks for that insight Dr. Burlington. FB: Thank you for having me. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

12 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. A federal judge dismissed the Imperialist Party's lawsuit against the governments of Erie and Ontario. The judge said, "There is no violation of free speech going on here. The governors of the provinces may at any time install security checkpoints if they feel the need to. Plus, the Imperialist Party doesn't need to have a physical presence to preach their message. There is a reason why we have the Internet. The Internet is a realm of complete freedom and anarchy. So therefore anyone may speak whatever they feel like on there without fear of negative response. With that logic, I hereby dismiss this case." The leader of the Imperialist Party, Mark Swanson, had no comment. King Jimmy announced today that he is satisfied with the list of candidates for Minister of Internal Affairs that the Royal Parliament has crafted. Among those on the list is Speaker of Parliament Michelle Michaels. However, Jimmy declined to voice his support for who he wants to become the Minister. For more political analysis, we are once again joined by our senior elections expert, Dr. Frank Burlington. SB: Dr. Burlington it is good to see you again so soon! FB: I love being here Sally it's always a pleasure! SB: So, as we all know, the person within the Libertarian Socialist Party who would most likely succeed Speaker Michaels is Ontario MP Paulina Sands. The first debate is two weeks from now. If MP Sands is the LSP representative at the debate, how do you think it will affect the opinion of the LSP? FB: Well Sally, the LSP is currently in a crisis. Already a couple sitting MPs have renounced their LSP membership and declared themselves to be members of the Liberal Party. The same thing is happening with the Conservatives. One tends to forget that Mark Swanson is one of the MPs from Hudson. The Imperialists already have one of their own in Parliament. However, he had been mostly forgotten because his extremist views were typically not welcomed by others within his party. This debate will already be seeing new parties with new leaders. The Liberals and Imperialists are new to the public and their leaders are unheard of. The LSP is the most wellknown Kumanian party in the world. Speaker Michaels is referred to on a first-name basis by several foreign leaders. She is a true leader. Mrs. Sands, however, doesn't have that same recognition. She hasn't had a leadership role in her entire political career. So putting Sands on the stage with four other political leaders in front of an international audience--yes the first debate of course will be simulcast on KNN and KNN International--so it will be the first time most of Kumania, let alone the world, has heard of Paulina Sands. The biggest question will be whether she can take the pressure. Speaker Michaels has years of experience debating. MP Sands on the other hand is just like Mark Swanson in which she was another quiet MP. SB: Thank you for that excellent explanation and analysis Frank! FB: Glad to be here again. In other news, the leader of the Conservative Party, Josh McDonaldson, announced that his party's platform will include protecting the system of the Royal Family. He did, however, not specify whether the Conservatives would completely protect the current status quo of the Royal Family. The other party leaders that are against having the Royal Family have declared that if we are to continue having our Royal Family, that Crown Princess Gloria must not be allowed to be the Heir Apparent anymore. If Gloria no longer is the Heir Apparent, then her 16 year old younger sister Emily will become the Crown Princess of Kumania. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

13 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. In a shocking announcement, Speaker of Parliament Michelle Michaels announced today that she would not be seeking reelection. King Jimmy confirmed today that while he recognized that Speaker Michaels was an excellent ally in Parliament, she appeared to be an even greater person to be the Minister of Internal Affairs. With this news, it can be confirmed that Michelle Michaels is King Jimmy's nominee for Minister of Internal Affairs. Michaels is expected to formally resign as Speaker of Parliament on Monday. Paulina Sands will begin her term as Speaker of Parliament when Michaels steps down. King Jimmy will attend the session of Parliament with the Chief Justice of the Royal Supreme Court as the Chief Justice must swear in the new Speaker of Parliament with the King witnessing the swearing in. It could also be expected that King Jimmy will address Parliament, specifically those in the Libertarian Socialist Party, about what he'd like to see them accomplish before the general election next month. Rumors have circulated about election reform. The Royal Parliament and all other elected positions have been elected via proportional representation. In the provinces, the governor and their party are elected equivalently to the party share. So if the equivalent of six seats in Parliament, which is a majority of seats from Newfoundland, vote for the Libertarian Socialist Party, then the governor will be a Libertarian Socialist and the provincial legislature which is also elected via proportional representation will be divided exactly as the Newfoundlander delegation to Parliament is divided. So if 55% of voters in Newfoundland vote for the LSP, then 55% of their legislature will consist of LSP members just as 55% of their delegation to Parliament will consist of LSP members. And finally, President Abraham Azman of the People's Liberation Republic and King Alexander I of Latrovia returned home to their countries this afternoon after an alleged argument between each other in King Jimmy's office. However, Jimmy confirmed that Latrovia and Kumania are officially allies and that the Knight Pact has been established between the two nations. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

14 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. In a surprisingly quiet day for news, the biggest story today is that temperatures across Kumania are about to rise greatly next week. It appears that winter is nearing its end soon, which is great for fans of football and baseball. The football season begins in a couple weeks, and it's always refreshing for both the players and the fans to not play or attend the games when there is a lot of snow still around. A new KNN poll has shown that the recent news by Speaker of Parliament and Leader of the Libertarian Socialist Party Michelle Michaels that she will be stepping down as Speaker of Parliament has affected public opinion of the LSP greatly. The poll predicts that the LSP will still have the most public support. However, if the election were held today, the LSP would need to form a coalition government with most likely the Communist Party to maintain control of the government. A spokesman for the LSP was quoted as saying that on the national level the LSP won't form coalition governments with the Liberals, and called supporters of the Liberals "filthy traitors who wish to see the Kumanian nation collapse overnight". It is expected that the most heated parts of the debates will be between the LSP and the Liberal Party. The governors of Nova Scotia and Erie have reportedly approached representatives of the Kumanian National Baseball League to allow their provinces play host to spring training games if negotiations with the Merlintonian government fail. KNN will conduct a poll to see if people would support such a transition. And finally, the Calofasian government has indicated that it will begin construction on a monument dedicated to the lives during the Calofas Conflict mostly between Latrovia and PLR but also including Oak Leaf and Calofas. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

15 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. In yet another day of calmness, King Jimmy saw it best to deliver one of his most important speeches regarding foreign affairs. For those who haven't heard his speech yet, fortunately KNN International was there to record it and we will broadcast it again. *The picture cuts to an earlier taping of King Jimmy's speech given in Kumania City's main square, the Grand Parade. King Jimmy steps onto a stage with applause welcoming him. He then began his speech.* "My fellow Kumanians, "This past week, I hosted King Alexander I of Latrovia and his family, and President Abraham Azman of the People's Liberation Republic. I had meetings with both of them, and a lot happened. However, I'll explain both briefly. When speaking with King Alexander, the both of us decided it'd be best to establish a pact between our countries. When speaking with President Azman, my trust with him was reaffirmed. Both leaders are good leaders, and only want the best for their people, and my people as well. "However, the rivalry between their two nations still is strong. Both are actively seeking to expand their influence abroad to gain an advantage over the other. Both want Kumania on their side, because Kumania is both democratic and popular. PLR is popular, but not democratic. Latrovia is democratic, but not popular. Kumania is the only powerful nation in this world that creates balance. If Kumania does something for PLR, Kumania will also do something for Latrovia. And if Kumania does something for Latrovia, Kumania will also do something for PLR. "I have enough trust in both leaders to feel like neither are striving for world domination, although it seems that way. Unfortunately, both are threatened for absolutely no reason. Latrovia will not attack PLR. I told Alexander that my most important condition in establishing an alliance with Latrovia is that Latrovia does not seek conflict. War is a disastrous thing with very little benefit. I never hope to see Kumanians lose their lives. And even if sacrifice must be made, I always hope that the sacrifice would be completely necessary. I, like the rest of you, still remember the horror brought down upon our nation by Arctic States and PLR in that completely useless war. I never wish to see Kumania experience something so terrible like that ever again. Peace is how prosperity occurs. And I'll say ever since our nation was knocked down, we have come right back stronger than ever. "My only issue with Abraham and Alexander is that they both run extremely powerful nations, but don't pursue a path of complete peace. I am extremely paranoid after that meeting in my office between Alexander and Abraham that war will break out. I remember a while ago, PLR asked Kumania to back them up when tensions were rising between them and Latrovia. I refused. To be completely honest with all of you, I'm actually surprised that Alexander wanted to forge an alliance with us knowing my history of backing out of defensive pacts. "I'm uncertain if I will come to Alexander's aid if his nation is under attack, even after the engagement between Gloria and Dominic. Sure, we made a pact, but CROSS was also a pact, and I broke it. That could be of relief to PLR. It'd be a relief to any leader to know that the Armed Forces of Kumania won't come after them. I am hereby proclaiming that while Kumania supports both Latrovia and PLR and wants to see both nations succeed and prosper, Kumania is neutral territory. And I will not tolerate either side trying to use Kumania as a weapon of influence over the other. "I had a long phone call with the Calofasian leader Alderic Wolfe. Alderic and I are good friends. Calofas is the most trustworthy nation in the world. But anyways, in our phone call, he told me that Calofas wants to remain neutral in this cold war between PLR and Latrovia. I understand that and I hope his nation can. Calofas is smack dab halfway between PLR and Latrovia. PLR and Latrovia once tried to gain influence in Calofas before, and that was a disaster. So I call on the governments of Latrovia and PLR to respect cries of neutrality. My nation doesn't want to get into any conflicts, but if you don't respect the sovereignty of these nations, then we will have a problem. And I can guarantee that you don't want to see the horror that a Kumanian starship can bring upon your nations. So do stay away from Calofas and other nations that want to remain neutral. "Kumania is not the police of the world. Kumania is here to make sure that balance of power exists in the world. Ultimately Kumania will have to enact policies that favor Latrovia more since Latrovia is extremely disadvantages with its unpopularity among other powers. Here in America alone the Arabs have a strong footing of influence in Arctic States and United Remmeria. The Arabs are also extremely influential with roughly half of their neighbors. The Latrovians are the same. "It is fine to have spheres of influence if the people in the nations are fine with it. However, the Kumanian people will not be fine with being influenced by other nations. And to clarify things, Kumania does not want to have its own sphere of influence and Calofas is not in Kumania's sphere of influence. I simply respect the desires of the Calofasian people to remain neutral and I hope others respect that as well. "So in conclusion, I am happy that Gloria is getting married. Although it is still a shock to me that the engagement came about so quickly, I am forever supportive, like any parent should be when their child is in love. Whether the Kumanian people want her to be my successor is entirely up to them. I am proud of this nation. Kumania is a nation that is founded immensely on the people. And Kumania shall continue to be a nation that respects liberty and democracy. There is no nation in this world that is like Kumania, and I am proud of that. I only hope to see Kumania continue to achieve greatness both at home and around the world. Thank you." *King Jimmy exits the stage to immense applause.* And that concludes our broadcast. I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day. |

16 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. Arctic States is currently being accused of allegedly kidnapping citizens of Oak Leaf after several people were reported missing and then returned acting extremely odd. These allegations have caused quite an uproar across the world as millions on social media have condemned Arctic States for these alleged actions. The government of Arctic States has not commented on the matter yet, but the governments of Oak Leaf and Latrovia are both upset over this recent event. Quebec has joined the provinces of Ontario and Erie in setting up checkpoints along its borders with Huron, Hudson, and Saguenay. This of course is an attempt at preventing any physical presence of original members of the Imperialist Party from entering and campaigning in the province. Last week's dismissal of a lawsuit brought up by the Imperialist Party against the provincial governments of Erie and Ontario seemingly gave the government of Quebec the green light to set up border checkpoints. A poll conducted by KNN concerning spring training games possibly being held in Erie and Nova Scotia starting next year has shown that a vast majority of people support a decision to have the Kumanian baseball teams play their preseason games in Kumania. Representatives from the KNBL will be in Merlinton for the next few weeks to discuss a new deal, but a League official stated today that this poll could be of some aid to the League making an official decision within the next few weeks. And finally, the Kumanian Football League announced today that all regular season games this season have sold-out. This comes as the regular season is set to begin in a couple weeks on 5 March and end 29 October. This is a historic announcement as never before have all 408 regular season games (24 teams playing over 34 weeks with 12 games a week) sold out before the season began. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

17 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. Michelle Michaels officially resigned as Speaker of Parliament today. After she resigned, Paulina Sands was elected the new Speaker of Parliament. King Jimmy then formally nominated Michelle Michaels, who then got the approval of Parliament to become the first Kumanian Minister of Internal Affairs. In her inaugural speech, Minister Michaels announced that she intended to come up with ideas in how to improve the Kumanian healthcare system. However, the education system won't currently be tampered with as it is running smoothly and is truthfully one of the best education systems in the world. This comes as Latrovia, PLR, and Calofas all laid out plans of education reform. All three are attempting to gain more foreign students. Calofas is currently the main destination for Kumanians who wish to study abroad, but it is likely that Latrovia will become the second most popular destination for Kumanian students who study abroad. However, it is still unlikely that many Kumanians will want to study in PLR, as most Kumanians have a completely neutral opinion of PLR but sometimes fear that the alleged lack of liberties in the Caliphate would be of some danger to them. Chancellor Donald Ward of Arctic States visited Steamsmead today to talk with Nancy Maldew concerning the discovery of synths in Oak Leaf. However, the meeting did not go well as Chancellor Ward refused Maldew's demands and then allegedly ordered Steamsmead to be bombed. Radiation in severe amounts has been detected all throughout Oak Leaf as of this broadcast. King Jimmy denounced Arctic States this evening after the attack in Oak Leaf. The Kumanian military is once again completely mobilized, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has allegedly tried tirelessly to contact leaders in PLR and Latrovia. King Jimmy ordered for ten anti-radiation devices to be deployed to Oak Leaf to help the small Baltic nation recovery from this horrible attack. Martial law has not yet been declared, but the last resort defenses of Kumania are up and running and local law enforcement will be working directly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs to keep order and lead people to safety if a crisis breaks out. And that concludes our broadcast. I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day. |

18 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. A one hour war broke out between the People's Liberation Republic, Oak Leaf, Latrovia, and Arctic States. Oak Leaf was the first one to begin military action against Arctic States. This prompted Latrovia to mobilize its military forces in the area of Arctic States. And then in a surprising move, PLR attacked Arctic States, breaking the pact between the two nations. The main center for the system for the Arctican Synths was destroyed during battle, killing a vast majority of the Arctican people. Only Arcticans who weren't Synths were able to survive. Chancellor Donald Ward survived the battle, but surrendered and was taken into custody by Latrovian forces. After the surrender, King Jimmy ordered three starships and 500 ground troops and a few anti-radiation devices to enter Arctic States to clean the countryside of the toxic radiation that had plagued the nation for a long time. Arctic States is currently under occupation by Arab, Latrovian, and Kumanian authorities. However, a new leader of Arctic States is expected to be created by Kumania. The dozens of thousands of Arcticans living in Kumania are expected to return to their homeland once the mess is cleaned up. Fuhrmania currently has established a naval blockade of Arctic States while also sending relief aid to the embattled nation. Fuhrmania and Handland are also allegedly working on a trade deal between the two nations. Meanwhile, Oak Leaf has received relief aid from all the major countries, including PLR. Latrovia and PLR also declared that they will set aside their differences and end their rivalry. The government of Axeldonia has called for a conference to deal with stability in the Mediterranean. The Kumanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Julian Basque will attend this conference. Other nations not in the Mediterranean region who will be represented in the conference currently include Latrovia and Handland. This will be a historic conference as it will be the first diplomatic event in a long time that the Kedalistani government will attend. Kedalistan has maintained a policy of absolute isolationism for a long time. And finally, the chaotic events of today are expected to change up the strategies of all of the parties, but especially the Imperialist Party, who had been preaching messages of hate against Arctic States. However, some speculate that the Imperialists could transfer their hate towards Far West or PLR or Latrovia with Arctic States no longer being deemed a threat to these Kumanian nationalists. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

19 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. Calofas has declared its intention to send a massive relief aid package to Arctic States to help the nation rebuild after the horrors of the Synth Regime and its downfall. Kumania is currently helping the Calofasians transport this package in every way possible. Kumania is also aiding other countries in transporting their aid that they've sent to Arctic States. King Jimmy has also ordered for an additional 11,500 troops to move into Arctic States to provide extra security. It is estimate that all of the radiation will be removed by tomorrow. Donald Ward, the former Chancellor of Arctic States, has been transported to Latrovia where he will stand trial. King Jimmy has sent the Kumanian Minister of Justice Daniel McDonald to Latrovia as he believes that it should be an international tribunal that decides the fate of the former dictator, and not just the Latrovian justice system. King Jimmy said, "I find it inappropriate if one nation in this world were to be the lone decider of the fate of Mr. Ward. Ward should actually be back at home in Arctic States facing trial in an Arctican courtroom with an Arctican judge presiding and an Arctican jury deciding his fate. However, alas there is no place in Arctic States currently that is as fancy as a Latrovian courtroom that could be the site of such a trial. So therefore I'm fine with Donald having his trial held in Latrovia, but I must make it clear that it would be intolerable if the Latrovians alone were the ones who decided the fate of someone who was not from their country and didn't directly harm any of their people. If the Latrovians are on a path to becoming the police, judge, jury, and executioner of the world, then I have a problem!" Minister of Internal Affairs Michelle Michaels has announced that the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be launching a massive protect to vamp up Kumania's infrastructure. This project will fix any and all flaws of the Kumanian transportation system which includes roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, etc. All buildings taller than one story will be subject to inspection. If an inspected building is faulty, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will send in a team to fix the flaws. King Jimmy praised this move and declared "A nation is only as strong as its infrastructure". And finally, King Jimmy and Kumanian Minister of Finance Laura Simpson have both announced disinterest in crafting a trade deal with the Fuhrmanians until the Fuhrmanian government ends all of its current operations to develop weapons of mass destruction. King Jimmy announced, "Kumania will not have any economic partnership with a nation that wants to build up its weaponry to possibly bring harm to the world. Kumania will only trade with nations who are 100% peaceful to Kumania." And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

20 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. Kumania has arisen as a potential candidate nation to host the trial of Donald Ward, the former Chancellor of Arctic States. This comes after Latrovia announced that they didn't plan to hold a trial for Ward in their nation, and other nations have cried for a nation like Kumania to hold the trial. The Kumanian government has announced that it would like to hold the trial for Donald Ward in Kenora since Kenora is the closest Kumanian city to Arctic States and Kumania is the safest nation that isn't damaged by war. The only potential opposition to Kumania hosting the trial, which would consist of judicial authorities from several nations including Arctic States and Kumania, is Oak Leaf, who feel like Ward owes the Oaklander people for his devastation he brought upon the Baltic nation. The first debate of this election season will be broadcast next Saturday evening from the Vino Academy Amphitheater in Toronto. All five party's have confirmed their representatives for the debate. The five debaters will be Kevin Bluecheese (COM-Miquelon), Paulina Sands (SOL-Ontario), Gerald Black (LBL-Newfoundland), Gary Paul (CON-Saguenay), and Mark Swanson (IMP-Hudson). The debate will be broadcast live here on KNN International at 7:00 pm EST. The provincial governments of Erie, Ontario, and Quebec have removed their border checkpoints that allegedly were put in place to restrict the presence of Imperialists in the province. However, the Imperialists were still able to spread their nationalist hateful message via the Internet and flying on airplanes into the provinces. However, naturally, polling in favor of the Imperialists is extremely low in these three provinces. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

21 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. Tensions rose today between Latrovia and Fuhrmania due to a complete misunderstanding. The Fuhrmanians allegedly had a fleet in the Pacific fighting alleged pirates and asked for Latrovia's aid and the Latrovians refused. However, a crisis back home for the Fuhrmanians caused the standoff to end. In a surprising chain of events, the Chancellor of Fuhrmania, Karola Fuhrmann, was overthrown in a quick revolution. The leader of the rebels, Kari Hedelski, took over control of the nation and proclaimed Fuhrmania to be an empire. The Balkan Confederation declared their intent to invade Fuhrmania if the Fuhrmanian government fell. Since Chancellor Fuhrmann's government was toppled, there has been no word from the Balkan Confederation on what they plan to do now. The government of Oak Leaf publicly announced its plans on how to use the relief aid it had been sent by those in the international community. The aid will apparently be used to advance education, energy, housing, and transportation. The government of Oak Leaf only recognized the contribution from Calofas and Latrovia. Several other nations including PLR and Kumania had sent a lot of relief aid to Oak Leaf. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not yet made a comment on this apparent snuff by the Oaklander government. Another Latrovian prince is going to marry the daughter of the leader of a major superpower. Latrovian Prince Pierson and Arab Princess Aamira announced their engagement today. This has caused paranoia among many Kumanians who fear that the Latrovians are attempting to take over the world via royal marriage. It is speculated that a bill that would make Emily Kuma the Crown Princess instead of Gloria Kuma is expected to be drafted and debated on as early as the day after the general election. No one in the Royal Family has commented on the engagement so far. And finally, all KNBL players have finally reported to their training camps in Merlinton for spring training. The first preseason games will begin next weekend as the teams first play local college teams. The KNBL declared today that they will publically announce their intentions for the future of spring training sometime later this week most likely. A poll conducted about a week ago showed that many baseball fans support having the spring training games being held in Kumania. The games would be played at much smaller ballparks in Erie and Nova Scotia. Minister of Internal Affairs Michelle Michaels jokingly announced that she has construction teams standing by in Erie and Nova Scotia to begin constructing new spring training stadiums if the KNBL decides to move spring training to Kumania. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

22 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. The Balkan Confederation has begun launching airstrikes on targets in Fuhrmania. This is part of an effort to bring the former government back into control of the island nation. Karola Fuhrmann, the former Chancellor of Fuhrmania, was overthrown yesterday in a swift and unexpected coup d'etat that saw fighting occur all across the nation. Fuhrmann is currently in custody of the rebels, and those who support the government have not yet announced any plans to rescue Fuhrmann. The Kumanian Ministry of Defense has urged caution to any and all Kumanians travelling in the area of the fighting. The Equestrian Republic has begun operations to take out pirates that are terrorizing the Pacific. After the Fuhrmanian military had to retreat due to crisis at home, the pirates gained a lot of ground. Since the Fuhrmanians retreated, the Equestrians have vowed to destroy these pirates to restore peace to the Pacific. However, the governments of several Pacific nations including Latrovia, Iloiada, and PROE have not said anything about the current piracy problem. It is currently uncertain if any of the Pacific nations will aid the Equestrians unless the pirates begin launching attacks in their territory. So far the only attacked have happened in the middle of the ocean far from any of the larger nations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with strong support from the Ministry of Defense, has announced its desire to see Kumania establish a permanent joint forces base somewhere in the Mediterranean. PLR, Merlinton, The State, Terra, Axeldonia, and Aghrabia are all nations that have coast on the Mediterranean. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs does acknowledge that it would still be satisfied if it was only able to achieve establishing a base on the shores of the Black Sea. The Mediterranean is recognized by King Jimmy as perhaps the most important foreign sea in the world as cargo to Kumania's top trading partners, Calofas and Latrovia, pass through the Mediterranean to reach their destinations. And finally, a new poll has projected that the Communists will win control of Miquelon and the Liberals will win control of Newfoundland in the upcoming general election. Both provinces have been controlled by the Libertarian Socialists for a long time. However, Newfoundland is a swing province while Miquelon is safely left-wing. Ontario, Erie, Nova Scotia, and Quebec are projected to still be controlled by the Libertarian Socialists. All the other provinces are currently unpredictable right now. It currently seems like the Imperialists and Conservatives will be battling for the northern rural provinces while the Libertarian Socialists and the Liberals will be battling for the remaining provinces. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

23 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. In Day 3 of a sudden eruption of violence and chaos in Fuhrmania, the Equestrian Republic has intervened on behalf of those loyal to the government. The Soviets defeated the pirates in the Pacific last night and quickly mobilized their troops to Fuhrmania shortly after. The intervention of both Balkan Confederation and E.S.S.R. has proven to be extremely beneficial to the Fuhrmanian government, which was swiftly disposed of two days ago in a sudden explosion of revolution. Chancellor Karola Fuhrmann has not yet been rescued, but the Kumanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expects that Fuhrmann should be rescued within the next couple days if the rebellion is crushed by the coalition of the Confederates, Soviets, and Republicans. The government of Merlinton today invited the international community to a conference regarding the alleged imperialism of Latrovia and PLR. This conference would basically create a non-aligned movement of nations that wish to remain independent of foreign influence from any other nation, especially Latrovia and PLR. Both Latrovia and PLR were explicitly not invited to this conference. It is unknown if the governments of the two self-proclaimed superpowers have heard about this conference. King Jimmy has decided he will send Emily Kuma to the conference to represent him and the Kumanian government as the election season prohibits him from leaving the country. The citizenry of Handland today voted in a referendum which would restore the Handlandian monarchy. The results of the vote showed that the majority of Handlandians support reinstating the monarchy. Prince Galloway Hand will be coronated as King of Handland within the next few days. The coronation will be a spectacular event and leaders from all across the world will be attending. Emily Kuma will attend the coronation on behalf of King Jimmy, who sends his regards. The Handlandian monarchy will be a mostly ceremonial role. And finally, the Kumanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially sponsored a potential referendum for people living in Axeldonian-occupied Aghrabia. This referendum would allow the people who reside in the territory to choose whether they want to be Axeldonian or Aghrabian. The governments of Axeldonia and Aghrabia have not yet responded to the idea of this referendum. Aghrabia and Axeldonia have had high tensions between themselves for the past several months due to this dispute. The outbreak of war between Aghrabia and Axeldonia led to the outbreak of war between PLR and Arctic States and Kumania several months ago. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

24 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. The Fuhrmanian government, with aid from the Balkan Condederation and E.S.S.R., recaptured its capital city today and rescued Chancellor Karola Fuhrmann, defeating the Fuhrmanian rebels. The Fuhrmanian government has since asked for an international tribunal to look into war crimes committed by both sides. However, so far no countries have volunteered to participate in any such tribunal. The Kumanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released this statement: "Kumania congratulates the Fuhrmanian government on restoring order to their nation. We also applaud the efforts of the Fuhrmanian government to bring justice to people on their own side that may have committed crimes. However, the Kumanian government does not see any good reason to be involved with the inner workings of the Fuhrmanian government and its affairs. We in Kumania note that Fuhrmania still has a government after this outbreak of violence, unlike our Arctican neighbors to the west. Since Fuhrmania still has a functioning government, Kumania believes that the international community does not need to step in and lay down the law since the Fuhrmanian government should be completely capable of doing it on their own. We do, however, wish the best of luck for the Fuhrmanian government and people and express hope that the nation will not encounter such a crisis ever again." Galloway Hand was coronated as King of Handland today. The only foreign dignitary to visit was the son of the Caliph of PLR. Emily Kuma missed the coronation since the coronation happened at the same time as a conference in Merlinton discussing a non-alignment movement in response to alleged Arab and Latrovian imperialism. A poll of Kumanians today found that a majority of the people are paranoid of the Latrovians and Arabs. A poll is scheduled to be conducted later this week concerning whether the Kumanian people would feel comfortable if Crown Princess Gloria continued to be the Heir Apparent to the Throne if she continued to be engaged and got married to Prince Dominic of Latrovia. A bill has already been proposed in the provincial legislature of Princess Gloria Island that would rename the province to Princess Emily Island. The Arab and Latrovian representatives at a conference concerning Mediterranean affairs randomly walked out of the conference today during the middle of discussion. This move has been criticized by basically everyone else who was there, who see the move as "cowardly" and "immature" and "absolutely unprofessional". King Jimmy even commented on the event saying he was "severely disappointed with the Arabs and Latrovians" and declared that "no nation can be a superpower if they act so unprofessionally". The Arabs and Latrovians have not commented on the affair. And finally, the Kumanian National Baseball League has announced that they will make a public announcement concerning the future of the KNBL preseason tomorrow morning. It is highly anticipated that the League will announce their intention to have spring training games be played in Erie and Nova Scotia starting next year. A poll conducted a couple weeks ago showed that many Kumanians support this type of move. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has already finished plans of constructing spring training stadiums for the KNBL teams in the projected areas where they would play. The first spring training games of 2016 will be played this weekend. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

25 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. An official ceasefire was signed between both sides in the brief Fuhrmanian Civil War today. The Equestrian government announced that over a million of their troops died in the short war. The international community has welcomed the supposed end of internal conflict in Fuhrmania, and King Jimmy ordered that flags would be flown at half staff tomorrow in memoriam of the over one million people who lost their lives in the horrible violent attempted coup d'etat. It was announced today that a royal marriage will occur between a prince of PLR and a princess of the E.S.S.R. This announcement is expected to draw negativity among Kumanians away from the Latrovians and toward the Arabs as it appears like PLR could potentially be trying to forge an empire. King Jimmy has not commented on the matter yet, but it is expected that he will congratulate the couple nevertheless as it is typical for Jimmy to always congratulate well-known newlyweds. Prime Minister Johnathan Dewly of Latrovia expressed immense frustration with the international community today regarding his nation's lower popularity. He also expressed disappointment with Kumania, saying "I am rather upset with Kumania's stance. It seems like they don't really know what they really want. Perhaps for once they can enlighten us by telling us actually what they fear and what not. We are quite tired of their actions." King Jimmy responded to Prime Minister Dewly's frustrastion stating, "Kumania is not only me. I like Latrovia. I'm proud to have such a good personal relationship with the Latrovian government. However, I do not speak for all of my people. There are indeed a lot of my citizens right now who are paranoid of Latrovia's actions. They seem to think Latrovia might be plotting to take over the world or something. I will reiterate that I do not personally believe such allegations! This sudden jump of negativity towards our Latrovian friends began with the engagement of Gloria with Dominic. However, if royal marriages equal potential world domination, then perhaps we shouldn't be turning a blind eye to the Peoples Liberation Republic. I hear Caliph Azman's kids are getting engaged to several foreign royals. I don't believe there is malicious intent, however. I can't control the minds of my people. They're allowed to believe what they want. Fortunately, I'm sure this anti-Latrovian paranoia will fade away pretty soon." And finally, the Kumanian National Baseball League announced today that they have decided to have future spring training games and activities be held in Erie and Nova Scotia next year. Upon this announcement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with association of the KNBL, begun construction on spring training stadiums for the KNBL teams. The construction crews will be working around the clock to get everything ready for next year's KNBL preseason. This move officially ends decades of KNBL spring training in Merlinton. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

26 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. A spokesman for the Imperialist Party today said, "Our group believes that the Peoples Liberation Republic is the greatest threat to the world. We already oppose royal marriage. We see the idea of someone running a powerful nation simply because of birthright as disgusting. However, few things are more disgusting than those god damn Arabs! We warn our fellow countrymen of Kumania to stay cautious of PLR. We sense something fishy. We won't jump to any conclusions, but we think it's pretty damn clear that the Arabs are trying to take over the world via royal marriage. Here you got the Latrovians, the Equestrians, and now the Handlandians all having royals marrying Arab royals. We're glad our bastard king was at least slightly uncowardly enough to have Kumania be represented in that sovereignty meeting thing in Merlinton. Someone needs to put the bloody Arabs in their place!" Surprisingly, the Imperialists aren't the only political faction in Kumania that has expressed paranoia over the recent Arabian royal engagements. Kumanians from all across the political spectrum have expressed uncertainty regarding PLR. The Fuhrmanian government today announced charges against all of the rebel leaders who tried to overthrow the Fuhrmanian government in a failed coup earlier this weak that saw millions of people be killed so quickly and the Fuhrmanian economy plummet to levels worse than the Kumanian economy was last summer. Several nations have announced that they will be sending relief aid and economic stimulus packages to Fuhrmania to help the nation recover from this week's tragedy and get back up on its feet. However, the Kumanian government has been reluctant to offer any aid to the Fuhrmanians. Kumanian Minister of Finance Laura Simpson was quoted as saying that "Kumania only offers financial aid to nations that the Kumanian government has complete economic faith in. Right now, we Kumanians just lack any faith with the Fuhrmanians that a huge stimulus package wouldn't be a waste of Kumans." The Axeldonian government has expressed its support for a referendum in occupied territory that had been administered by the Aghrabian government until the Axeldonians invaded it a couple months that would let the people residing in the occupied territory decide whether they want to be a part of Axeldonia or Aghrabia. However, it is still uncertain if such a referendum would happen. Both sides have raised questions regarding the hypothetical referendum. However, the Kumanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to promise that the referendum is a good idea. And finally, the first leaders debate for this election cycle will be held tomorrow night at the Vino Academy Amphitheater in Toronto and begin at 7:00 pm EST. This debate will be broadcast live on KNN its sister stations including KNN International, and give viewers a first chance at listening to all of the arguments and policies of the five parties that will be participating. I will be joined with my colleagues Tommy Uhara and McKenzie Zylop to moderate the debate. And that concludes our broadcast! Please be sure to tune in tomorrow night for live coverage of the first leaders debate here on KNN International! I'm sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

27 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, broadcasting from the Vino Academy Amphitheater in Toronto, and here are today's top stories. Anti-Kumanian protests erupted across the Peoples Liberation Republic today in response to alleged paranoia concerning PLR among Kumanian citizens. These protests escalated into violent riots quickly and the Arab government seemingly did nothing to quell the violence. The Kumanian embassy in Chertkovo was lit on fire, but not before all the Kumanian employees inside the embassy were rescued by the Royal Space Force in a stealthy mission. King Jimmy has since condemned the Arab government for allowing his people to be so easily exposed to danger. Jimmy has also ordered for 1,000 troops of the Royal Army to be stationed around the Arab embassy in Kumania City to protect the Arab employees inside, stating, "While my Arab counterpart has seemingly forgotten that my own people were in a complex representing my nation and seemingly allowed my people to be exposed to danger, and possibly killed if not for the RKSF, I will not forget the Arabs in their embassy in my nation. Kumania and its people will not resort to this barbaric violence that our Arab friends have resorted to." The riots across PLR have been condemned by various international governments, most notably the Kolechian government, of which PLR has been attempting to make strong improvements in relations with in recent months. More Fuhrmanian rebels have been arrested today and all have been charged with high treason. The Fuhrmanian government announced that trials for these rebels will begin tomorrow, and that these trials will most likely be quick. Meanwhile much of the destruction that had been the result of the conflict has been fixed. However, it has been reported that currently about 93% of the Fuhrmanian population is homeless due to the conflict. With recovery happening relatively quickly, it is expected that soon the majority of the Fuhrmanian people will no longer be homeless and that the Fuhrmanian economy will make a great recovery. Crown Princess Gloria and Latrovian Prince Dominic announced today that they plan to have their wedding probably at the end of March. However, the couple has not yet pinpointed an exact date for the ceremony. As the couple has mostly been in Latrovia since the announcement of their engagement, more and more Kumanians have voiced opinions that Gloria should not be the Heir Apparent to the Kumanian Throne if she's hardly in the country she's supposed to lead in the future. The Latrovian government voiced its disapproval of a Latrovian royal marrying an Arab royal, which is a precedent that would most likely be used in an argument in favor of stripping Gloria of her right to be the Queen of Kumania someday, and instead giving that right to Emily. The first leaders debate is coming up next here on KNN and KNN International. So stay tuned for that! And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. Have a good day! |

27 February 2016 First 2016 Leaders Debate This is a KNN special report! SB: Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos and I am joined by Tommy Uhara and McKenzie Zylop. We are broadcasting live from the Vino Academy Amphitheater in Toronto. In just a minute, we will meet the five leaders and the debate will begin. The general election will happen four weeks from tonight. Voters will get the chance to hear the five parties a few more times before the 26th, but tonight will be the first time. And with it being the first time, it will be perhaps the most crucial debate. And with that being said, let's start this debate! SB: To everyone here or watching at home, please welcome Leader of the Communist Party Kevin Bluecheese, Speaker of Parliament and Leader of the Libertarian Socialist Party Paulina Sands, Leader of the Liberal Party Gerald Black, Leader of the Conservative Party Gary Paul, and Leader of the Imperialist Party Mark Swanson! *The five leaders walk out in order of rollcall from the right side of the stage and walk up to their podiums. The Communist Kevin Bluecheese's podium is on the farthest left, and then the Libertarian Socialist Paulina Sands, then Liberal Gerald Black in the center, Conservative Gary Paul, and then Imperialist Mark Swanson on the farthest right. The Communist podium is colored red, the Libertarian Socialist podium is colored green, the Liberal podium is colored yellow, the Conservative podium is colored blue, and the Imperialist podium is colored orange.* SB: Alright we have our five debaters here now so let's begin! First, let's have the candidates introduce themselves. We will begin with Imperialist Mark Swanson. MS: Thank you Sally. Hello, I'm Mark Swanson. I've lived in the great province of Hudson all my life. My dad was a lumberjack. For far too long have the voices of us rural folk been ignored and silenced. That is why I am here today. It is time that it is recognized that us rural folk should have our voices heard. We are the ones that make this country powerful and superior to all others. If you vote for the Imperialist Party on 26 March, Kumania will enter an age of global supremacy! SB: And now we will hear from Conservative Gary Paul. GP: Hello Sally and my fellow Kumanians. I'm Gary Paul of course. I represent the great province of Saguenay in the Royal Parliament. We Conservatives are alarmed at how ungodly this nation is and how restrictive its laws are. If you vote Conservative, Kumania will be the shining city on a hill with God powering us and guiding us and all things that are ungodly will be removed from this nation! SB: And now for Liberal Gerald Black. GB: Hello Kumania. Our personal and economic freedoms are under attack! My fellow Kumanians in Newfoundland recognize this, so that is why the Liberal Party will rise and take back our country and liberty with your help! So on 26 March, I encourage you to vote Liberal so Kumania can truly be a nation of freedom! SB: Speaker Paulina Sands, we will hear from you now. PS: Hello! I am glad to be in my home province of Ontario! *cheering* PS:For a long time has the Libertarian Socialist Party been running this nation. And for a long time has Kumania prospered because of it! If you want Kumania to continue having this prosperity, vote Libertarian Socialist on 26 March! SB: And finally, Communist Kevin Bluecheese. KB: Good evening Kumania. We are potentially on the verge of falling into an abyss of hatred and bigotry! And only the Communists are brave enough to put a stop to this growing threat! This change will begin in my home province of Miquelon and spread across Kumania with your help! So four weeks from now vote Communist! SB: Thank you all for your lovely introductions. We will begin by discussing foreign policy. Just today, the Kumanian embassy in Chertkovo was attacked by anti-Kumanian rioters. Fortunately, the Royal Space Force was able to rescue all Kumanian employees inside the embassy before it was attacked. We will start with you Mr. Swanson. MS: These riots in Chertkovo should show the international community that Caliph Azman is a fraud and cannot properly run his country! I can foresee his regime falling very soon anyways. That damn region is the most unstable place in the world! It is an embarrassment that PLR is able to call itself a superpower when it is such a failed state! Those damn Arabs are lucky that they're still alive after basically trespassing on Kumanian territory and desecrating it! If the Imperialists are elected, of course the abomination of our royal family would be abolished. I'm rather surprised King Jimmy had enough balls to order the rescue mission in the first place! If Imperialists are in charge, PLR would no longer be the unstable embarrassing failed state that it currently is because Kumania would be running the place! SB: Speaker Sands, what is your response to this? PS: Well, I wouldn't consider PLR to be a failed state. This is just one massive national riot that has taken place in the country since Caliph Azman came to power. If PLR was a failed state, then this violence would be occurring daily. There is no doubt that it is a questionable situation however. I am rather disappointed with Caliph Azman for not doing everything in his power to protect the embassy. However, we Kumanians should take the higher road and not resort to levels of hatred. I applaud King Jimmy for sending in these thousand troops to protect the Arabs inside their embassy in Kumania City. If Kumania wants to be liked, we must show the international community that we value peace and love above all else. There is no need to speak about taking over an entire nation simply because its people acted in a horrible way! SB: Gary Paul, your thoughts? GP: I think it's fairly obvious that the Arabs are ungodly people! If they had God by their side, these riots would not have occurred. SB: But PLR is a Caliphate and Islam is its official religion. How can you say that they're ungodly people Mr. Paul. GP: They worship a false diety! There is only one God and that is not the God that is worshiped by the Arab people. The Kumanian people must reunite themselves with their Creator and then preach His word to the nations around the world! And then there will be no more of these violent acts like the one that happened today. If the people find God, they will find peace! SB: Mr. Black, you're openly gay. Most religions have persecuted your people. What are your thoughts on Mr. Paul's policy? GB: I congratulate Mr. Paul for being able to think of a foreign policy in the first place. It is typically common knowledge that the religious aren't really that intelligent. *laughter from the audience* GB: Islam discriminates against homosexuals like me just as Mr. Paul's religion does. This so called peace preached by Mr. Paul and the religious Conservatives would only happen to those deemed worthy enough. It is rather hypocritical that there exists such a hypocritical religion that worships a god that allegedly created and loves all, but somehow hates people like me who like people of the same sex. This type of non-logic is too dangerous to be a foreign policy. I will rarely agree with my Libertarian Socialist colleague here but indeed we must preach true peace and love for all instead of trying to impose one's so called religious values on others. SB: Mr. Bluecheese. We've unfortunately kept you quiet so far. What are your thoughts on this tragedy? KB: Well I will rarely agree with my Imperialist colleague that the royal family should be abolished and that I was surprised that his so called majesty Jimmy preemptively rescued those embassy workers. However, what we really need is a communist revolution! I'll bet that these rioters weren't only mad at Kumania, but the system as a whole! Sure we have some so called socialism, but there is still disproportionate struggle! We must work together to destroy everyone who is in charge in this revolution and then there will finally be peace and equality and we won't have to worry about Kumanian lives being killed because there will be no Kumanian or Arab after this revolution. We will all be united! SB: Ok. So Tommy, I'll let you ask this next question. TU: Thank you Sally! Alright. So royal marriages are becoming a common occurrence especially with PLR. The Kumanian people are growing weary that royal marriages could be abused and are being abused and used to take over other countries. Speaker Sands, how does your party respond to this? PS: Well Tommy, that is an excellent question. I will firstly reiterate that the Libertarian Socialist Party continues to have good faith in King Jimmy and the rest of the royal family. This paranoia is just silly! I do, however, understand concerns regarding Crown Princess Gloria's engagement to Prince Dominic of Latrovia. But regardless, I stand by whatever King Jimmy believes. If he has faith that the Latrovians are good people, then so do I. *applause erupts* GB: I'm sorry for interrupting, but that is a bunch of bullshit! First of all, why the fuck does our leader only become the leader by birthright? That is so ridiculous! Here we call ourselves a bastion of freedom and yet we have a King! A king that has power! It's not just a king that sits on his ass all day being rich and famous and doing nothing like the Latrovian king, but a king that actually has a say in our political process! I don't care what Jimmy's opinion of the Latrovians is. It is too dangerous to have a system that can be easily manipulated by foreigners like this. I'm alright with the Latrovians, but the leader of Kumania should be guaranteed born in Kumania! MS: Kumania does indeed need a strong leader. And Jimmy is not that. But I am! With the Imperialists in charge, we will certainly abolish the royal family and let Kumania have a real leader! KB: I don't understand why so much emphasis is put on having a so called leader. Why do we need a leader? We're all adults here. We don't need anyone telling us, the People, the Workers who built civilization, what to do! GP: We're looking for a leader in all the wrong places! God is our leader! And the Kumas are the anointed ones. They lead Kumania by Divine Right, and any who question the will of God will suffer for eternity in Hell! GB: But what if people don't believe in a god or a hell Mr. Paul? Your policy so far has only been based on the existence of a deity and the legitimacy of religion, which is something a majority of Kumanians either don't believe or don't have any strong opinion of. GP: The Kumanian people must accept the fact that there is a god who loves all of us and wants to guide us! GB: There is no evidence that a god exists. Kumania is a leader in science. How the hell are the Kumanian people even supposed to believe in a deity if there's no evidence of its existence? GP: But there's no evidence to prove that he doesn't exist! SB: Gentlemen! Gentlemen! Can we please stay on the topic here? Never mind. All of you have basically presented your opinions on royal marriages being a common thing involving PLR these days. We will move on now to domestic policy. Mr. Black this question is for you. Your party is host to many people who supported the controversial bill last spring that imploded the Kumanian economy. How do you expect to even win one seat in Parliament with this record of bringing Kumania to its knees? GB: Well Sally the implosion was necessary. It prompted Kumania to legalize capitalism. And once capitalism was legalized again, the economy improved! You can't achieve any good without some bad. It's tragic that the economy went the way it did, but it was necessary in the end. And if the Liberals win, you can expect capitalism to be legalized again! PS: I find it completely irresponsible that Mr. Black here basically praises the disastrous actions of his fellow moderates. And then he has the nerve to criticize King Jimmy as a weak and inefficient leader!? If not for King Jimmy, you moderate scum would still be in Parliament and Kumania would be the laughing stock of the international community! What good is a nation if its economy is weak? Sure the capitalism legalization after the economic implosion may have benefited the economy. But it was only temporary relief. Our economy only has gotten back up to its high level of greatness with the re-abolition of capitalism. It was socialism that led Kumania to having a strong economy in the first place, and it is socialism that continues to allow Kumania to have a strong economy! *major applause erupts* KB: I agree with Speaker Sands here. Capitalism is a plight on humanity, and all of its supporters should be destroyed. If us Communists win, Kumania will make it clear that absolutely no capitalism will be tolerated in this nation! GP: You people are so ignorant! Mr. Black here is right that capitalism was the solution to the problem! It was the thing that healed Kumania's economy. And what greatness as a nation do we have if we don't do ambitious stuff? You may criticize my moderate colleagues for joining us conservatives in passing that bill that allegedly destroyed the economy, but the move showed that we are strong and brave enough to try anything! PS: Ah yes it is good to be brave. But one must also know that there are times when such bravery can be extremely foolish! Don't flex when you shouldn't flex. Only flex at the proper times. Otherwise you just seem like a douchebag. *laughter and applause* MS: If we have to act like so called douchebags to show the world that we are strong and brave, I'm fine with that! PS: Ah yes, Mark, Mark, Mark. I was waiting for you to join in! You know all about douchebaggery by being one yourself! The Kumanian people have done digging into your background. We know that you were the total fuckboy in high school. You being the quarterback of your high school handegg team. There's testimony from many of your former classmates that you were quite the bully! There's even allegations that you might've sexually assaulted a couple cheerleaders. But that's not what this debate is about. But I just don't find it surprising that you're okay with Kumania being a douchebag to the rest of the world kinda sometimes like certain unnamed nations since you are a douchebag yourself. *applause* MS: Shut up Paulina. GP: Why in the Lord's holy name does Ms. Sands here think she has the right to judge the sins of another Kumanian? PS: I wasn't judging Gary. I was just revealing important information to the Kumanian people. I feel like they should be well-informed about the people running for office. Isn't honesty a trait preached by your religion Gary? *laughter and cheers* SB: Okay moving on. McKenzie, I'll let you ask this next question. MZ: Thank you Sally. So this question is for all of you. So Kumania is currently in a state of prosperity and stability. How would electing your party affect this current arguable golden age for our nation? Mr. Bluecheese, I'll have you answer first. KB: Well, obviously a Communist victory would mean the end of the royal family and the beginning of a government that is truly of the workers who made this nation great! With the establishment and the elite being destroyed, the world will be able to enjoy prosperity! A Communist victory will expand this prosperity to even more people! PS: If us Libertarian Socialists stay in power, obviously this golden age for Kumania will last. It will last as long as we are in power and the monarch supports what we and millions of Kumanians believe! I am damn sure that the Kumanian people believe that everyone has the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, that everyone has the right to excellent healthcare, that everyone has the right to an education, and that everyone has the right to live a life free from economic woes. The Libertarian Socialist Party is the only party that believes in those ideals. Those ideals are what led to Kumania achieving greatness, and that is why the Libertarian Socialists are the party of the people and the party that will truly continue this prosperity! *thunderous applause* GB: I grew up in a society that was mostly tolerant of my differences. I am grateful to live in a society that strongly values liberty. However, liberty is not only civil rights and political freedom. Economic freedom is also a major part of liberty, and that is unfortunately something that is lacking in our country today. If Liberals are elected, you will see Kumania achieve its full potential of liberty! And liberty is what truly makes nations prosperous! GP: Sure Kumania might be prosperous today. But it's not. This nation is lacking the guidance of our Creator! If Kumania returns to His guidance, He will certainly lead Kumania to great things! And those great things will truly make Kumania prosperous! MS: Kumania is at a crossroads right now. Fortunately, however, the Imperialist Party is here. And we will lead Kumania to being the greatest country history has ever seen! We will crush all competition and Kumania will reign supreme with the Imperialists in charge! SB: Thank you all for that. Before we end, I'd like to thank the leaders for participating in tonight's debate, and the lovely audience here at the Vino Academy Amphitheater in Toronto, and of course the viewers watching this at home. I'm Sally Bungolos, joined by Tommy Uhara and McKenzie Zylos. From all of us at the Kumanian News Network, have a good day! This has been a KNN special report! |

28 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. After a long day of voting, the people of Axeldonia have decided to let their current government stay in power. The Axeldonian Social Democratic Party, the party that supports Aegeus Constantinides also known as Axeldonius III, only won 43% of the popular vote, but it was enough to propel them to victory to remain in power. King Jimmy called Axeldonius III earlier today and congratulated him on his victory, and then publicly applauded the Axeldonians for exercising their right to vote. Last night was the first leaders debate of 2016 here on KNN International. After the debate, we asked our viewers to go online and participate in a poll to decide who won last night's debate. Unsurprisingly but also surprisingly, Speaker Paulina Sands was declared the winner of last night's debate by the viewers with more than 60% of the vote. Both Communist Kevin Bluecheese and Conservative Gary Paul have drawn criticism for lacking any depth in their arguments during last night's debate. There will be seven more debates before the election on 26 March, each occurring on every Tuesday and Saturday before the 26th. However, the next debate to be broadcast here on KNN International won't occur until 22 March, which will also be the last debate before voters head to the polls on the following Saturday. Our friends at the Kumanian Broadcasting Company (KBC) will broadcast the debates of 1 March and 12 March. Our friends at Kumania Today (KT) will broadcast the debates of 5 March and 15 March. And our friends at the Satellite News Network (SNN) wil broadcast the debates of 8 March and 19 March. The debate of 1 March will be held in Thunder Bay, the debate of 5 March will be held in Kenora, the debate of 8 March will be held in Kumania City, the debate of 12 March will be held in Reeds, the debate of 15 March will be held in Moosonee, the debate of 19 March will held be in Fredericton, and the debate of 22 March will be held in Montreal. And finally, Imperialist Leader Mark Swanson has announced an anti-Arab rally in Kumania City on 7 March. This has quickly drawn criticism from Speaker of Parliament and Libertarian Socialist Leader Paulina Sands, Liberal Leader Gerald Black, and Minister of Internal Affairs Michelle Michaels, who collectively see it as a bad publicity move and a move that could worsen Kumania's relations with the Peoples Liberation Republic. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

29 February 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. Axeldonius III today announced uncertainly about a proposed referendum in Axeldonia's occupied territory it seized from the Aghrabians months ago that would let the people in the occupied territory decide whether they wish to be a part of Axeldonia or return back to being a part of Aghrabia. This uncertainty has been created by the fast that the Axeldonian Fascist Party won 15% of the popular vote in the recent elections. In response, Kumania has offered to send in a small peace keeping force to ensure that this referendum that was proposed by the Kumanian government can occur and be a success. The Axeldonian government has not yet responded to Kumania's proposal of sending in a peace keeping force. The government of Blobfish has requested a conference with the Latrovian government after a jump in anti-Latrovian sentiment in the northeastern Pacific nation. These anti-Latrovian demonstrations have been sparked by rumors that the Latrovians poisoned the Blobfishian water. Sir Phillip, the leader of the Blobfish, has requested to have the conference in Latrovia and requested that other foreign leaders attend as well. So far neither the Latrovians nor any other foreign leaders have responded to Sir Phillip's request. The rebel leaders in the Fuhrmanian Civil War were all found guilty and all but one sentenced to death today. The execution styles are ranging from hanging to electrocution to firing squad. The lone rebel leader that escaped the death penalty was Brigadier General Modacai Humuler, who will serve life in solitary confinement instead for keeping women as sex slaves. And finally, the first spring training games were played today in Merlinton between several KNBL teams and local Merlintonian colleges. This day is historic as it is the last first day of Kumanian spring training in Merlinton since next year the Kumanian baseball teams will play their spring training games in Kumania instead. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has already begun construction on multiple ballparks to play host to the Kumanian teams for spring training starting next year. There will be an off day tomorrow for the teams that played today, and then spring training will officially start Wednesday when Kumanian teams begin playing other Kumanian teams. And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |

1 March 2016 This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos! Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories. The governments of Axedonia and Terra declared today that their two nations would be uniting to form the Second Roman Republic. Shortly after this announcement, the government of the E.S.S.R. declared an alliance with the Second Roman Republic, which has been seen by some analysts as a potential shift in power in the Mediterranean region. However, it is uncertain if the establishment of this Second Roman Republic would allow for a referendum to occur in Axeldonia's occupied territory that would let residents decide which nation they want to be a part of. It has been alleged that the Arab Caliph Azman is working with an Arab nationalist terrorist organization known as the Crescent. The Crescent has been responsible for organizing anti-Kumanian rallies in PLR the past few days. The rapid increase of radical nationalism in PLR has concerned King Jimmy, who announced that he condemns any escalation of tensions for absolutely no reason, and that he will expel the Arabs working in the Arab embassy in Kumania City and shut down the Arab embassy if these allegations that Azman is working with these terrorists are true. The second leaders debate was held tonight in Thunder Bay. Conservative Gary Paul hardly spoke while Libertarian Socialist Speaker of Parliament Paulina Sands and Liberal Gerald Black had several heated confrontations regarding the economy. Thunder Bay is the capital city of Superior, which is predicted to be a potential swing state in the general election. It is expected that the Liberals will try to bank on the swingness of the province in the general election and try to gain support from voters who aren't Conservative leaning or Libertarian Socialist leaning. And finally, the Ministry of Defense has announced that it will change its policy of releasing its technology to the public for sale in the markets to be much less than a year after invention so the Kumanian public can purchase photon guns in the extremely near future. Minister of Defense Haley DeFronz announced that "it is always best to have our ordinary citizens be as advanced in their weaponry as their military that protects them". And that concludes our broadcast! I'm Sally Bungolos. From all of us here at KNN International, have a good day! |
