Welcome back to KNN's all-day coverage of the Kumanian general election I'm McKenzie Zylop and this is Tommy Uhara. It is now 7:00 pm here in Kumania City which means polls will close in Newfoundland in 30 minutes.

We have correspondent Jackie Noff live outside of a polling station in St. Tom.

MZ: Jackie how's it been there today?

JN: Well McKenzie turnout was extremely high of course. Once again it's predicted that there's been 100% turnout across Kumania.

MZ: I'm sure that will make those who count the vote much happier knowing that everyone in Kumania who could vote voted today.

JN: Yeah they will be. I just spoke with one of those ballot counters today, and apparently they've already started counting the ballots. She was on a break but she's back to counting the ballots. Fortunately, they just have to feed the ballots into these machines that do the counting. And there's many many many polling places across Kumania. There's at least one polling place for every 20,000 people across Kumania. So there's a total of 2,750 polling places in Kumania. There's 100 ballot counters per polling station, so fortunately each person only has to count 200 ballots. So with there being roughly 55 million voters, there's a total of 275,000 ballot counters.

MZ: So will we be able to declare a winner as soon as the polls close?

JN: Not everywhere. Newfoundland isn't as populated as provinces like Nova Scotia. Once the ballots are counted at a single polling station, the results must be sent to the county recorder, who then must collect all the votes from their county and send it to the province recorder for official purposes. And then for official purposes, the results will then be sent to the Department of Elections. Of course though the media doesn't have to wait until the results are received by the Department of Elections. Results are publicly released by the time they reach the county recorders. Not all counties have proportional distribution of population. For example, here in Newfoundland, a majority of the population lives in St. Tom County. It is just one county that hosts more than half of the vote of Newfoundland. The county recorder here in St. Tom County personally advised the ballot counters to begin counting earlier so everyone can get an idea of the election results as soon as possible.

MZ: So perhaps at 7:30 then we will be able to make a projection?

JN: It's possible. If St. Tom County is able to have a significant majority of its votes counted by the time polls close, we might be able to have a projection here in Newfoundland as soon as the polls close. The line here at the polling station is pretty much ceasing to exist as there's five minutes left until polls close. So at least this polling station should be able to report 100% of its votes when polls close.

MZ: Indeed. Well thank you Jackie. We will take a short break before the bridge the bottom of the hour and witness the first poll closings in the nation! It is now 7:25 pm here in Kumania City and 7:55 pm in Newfoundland. We will be right back!

Welcome back to Kumania Votes! I'm McKenzie Zylop joined with Tommy Uhara. It is currently 7:29 pm AST and 7:59 pm NST. Polls close in Newfoundland in 40 seconds.

MZ: So Tommy, I give it to you to help us bridge this important poll closing.

TU: Thank you McKenzie. It's been a long day and finally we are about to have our first poll closing. We will now have the graphic up showing which provinces are closing right now. As you can see, it is only Newfoundland. And polls will close in...

WE HAVE A PROJECTION

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Liberals will win Newfoundland.

MZ: Wow.

TU: This information comes from our special election projection team.

MZ: And we have never met any of those guys.

TU: But there is a camera in the closed room that they're in. Ah there they are.

MZ: So Newfoundland has gone to the Liberals.

TU: I'm actually not too surprised. Newfoundland is a rather moderate province. It's been known as a swing province for years having swayed back and forth between the Conservatives and Libertarian Socialists. Now, the projection did not say anything about an overwhelming victory or even a landslide victory. So It could be safe to predict that it's just a majority they got. Something in the 50's of percentage. Maybe low sixties. If it wasn't going to be an overall majority of the votes, we probably wouldn't have made a projection immediately. But if the projection said landslide victory, then we'd be talking about upper 60's and the lower 70's. And then anything more than that would be considered an overwhelming victory. It doesn't matter how the other parties perform individually. One party could get 68% and the other five parties evenly split the other 32% and it'd only be considered a landslide victory even though none of the other parties had a chance.

MZ: Ah that makes a little bit more sense than your earlier explanation of independent voters.

TU: Yeah again I'll reiterate that our election system is quite unique.

MZ: Haha it definitely is. So at this hour, we can probably predict that the Liberals will at least get six seats in Parliament from Newfoundland.

TU: And we're starting to get actual vote results. It appears that the Libertarian Socialists are in a strong second place while the Conservatives so far aren't showing any strong performance. So in Newfoundland, it appears that most of the Liberal vote is coming from former Conservative voters.

MZ: Quite the surprise. We will take a break before we come back. The Liberals have scored their first victory of the night in Newfoundland!

Welcome back again to Kumania Votes! I'm McKenzie Zylop and this is Tommy Uhara.

It is 7:57 pm in Kumania City. We will bridge the top of the hour where we will get results from Miquelon, Anticosti, Labradour, Princess Gloria Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.

So we already have results from one province so far: Newfoundland. A typically moderate province that has gone for the new party for moderates, the Liberal Party. They will try to expand on their lead as six more provinces have poll closings in a minute and a half. The Communists are looking to score a big win in Miquelon. The Communists haven't won a province in several election cycles. Meanwhile, the Conservatives are looking to protect Anticosti and Labradour from both the Imperialists and the Liberals. The Conservatives will once again be looking to sway voters in Princess Gloria Island and New Brunswick. The Communists and Liberals both want to win Nova Scotia.

Thirty seconds left until the 8:00 pm poll closings. We will show you the graphic of provinces having their polls close right now at 8:00. As you can see, we have Miquelon, Anticosti, Labradour, Princess Gloria Island, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. 56 seats in Parliament up for grabs compared to only 11 half an hour ago.

And the polls close in

WE HAVE THREE PROJECTIONS

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Communists will win Miquelon in a landslide victory.

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Conservatives will win Anticosti in an overwhemling victory.

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Libertarian Socialists will win Nova Scotia.

And we have three contests that are TOO EARLY TO CALL: Princess Gloria Island, Labradour, and New Brunswick.

Wow. Tommy does this surprise you?

TU: Not really. I'll bet that Labradour is a fight between the Conservatives and Imperialists and that New Brunswick is a fight between the Libertarian Socialists and the Liberals. Both the Conservatives and Libertarian Socialists have already won a province at this 8:00 hour. Perhaps it'd be fitting that the Liberals and Imperialists win those two that are currently too early to call. Yeah Princess Gloria Island is also said to be too early to call, but it's really too close to call. We will probably be here for a while waiting to find out who wins.

MZ: It's kinda tragic how we don't have exit polling.

TU: If we had exit polling, especially in Princess Gloria Island for like Liberal voters, we would probably be able to call that election. The voters in Princess Gloria Island rarely change what they vote for. So the exit poll would be conducted on Liberal voters to see who they voted for in the past, and we'd probably be able to do the math and predict who wins. If the Liberals in Princess Gloria Island have cut away more at the Conservatives than the Libertarian Socialists, then expect the Libertarian Socialists to win Princess Gloria Island. It probably won't be a majority win, but it's still a win if they get the most votes.

MZ: Well I guess we will just have to stay tuned to find out more! Miquelon for the Communists, Anticosti for the Conservatives, and Nova Scotia for the Libertarian Socialists. And then Princess Gloria Island, Labradour, and New Brunswick are too early to call. All of this happened right now at 8:00! Stay tuned for more results!

Welcome back to Kumania Votes! It is 8:42 pm. I'm McKenzie Zylop.

And we have breaking news!

WE HAVE A PROJECTION

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Libertarian Socialists will win New Brunswick.

Tommy, your thoughts?

TU: Well I guess this must be of some relief to the Libertarian Socialists. New Brunswick is typically less leftwing than Nova Scotia as New Brunswick is sometimes seen as the suburbs of Kumania City. Like Nova Scotia is basically Kumania City. A minuscule amount of the population of Nova Scotia doesn't work in Kumania City. Now Kumania City isn't just the seat of our government. It is a true city with a culture like Toronto or Montreal or Thunder Bay. Since much of the population of Nova Scotia lives in Kumania City, that's why Nova Scotia is for the Libertarian Socialists. And since New Brunswick is sometimes seen as the suburbs of Kumania City, that's why it'd been historically a swing province and why the Liberals had a shot at winning there this election.

MZ: But somehow the LSP hung on.

TU: New Brunswick does have two major cities in Fredericton and Moncton. The Libertarian Socialists and any other leftists perform strongly in urban settings. That's how the LSP has clung onto narrow victories in New Brunswick for the past several election cycles.

MZ: So anyways it is now 8:48 pm. Polls will close in Saguenay, Quebec, Ontario, and Erie in 12 minutes. And we have breaking news again!

WE HAVE A PROJECTION

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Conservatives will win Labradour without a majority.

Labradour goes for the Conservatives. But a coalition government will have to be formed in Labradour. This is historic indeed.

TU: What a surprise! Well, I guess this must be the Imperialists. Without the Imperialists, we would have been able to call Labradour immediately.

MZ: And now Labradour won't have any party being a majority. History just keeps being made tonight with Newfoundland, Miquelon, and now Labradour. We will be right back after this next break. After this break, we will bridge the top of the hour where we will get results from Saguenay, Quebec, Ontario, and Erie. Stay tuned!

Welcome back to Kumania Votes! I'm McKenzie Zlyop and this is Tommy Uhara. It is 8:53 pm here in Kumania City. Polls will close in Saguenay, Quebec, Ontario, and Erie in a little less than seven minutes. The 9:00 hour will be the largest prize as 140 seats, more than half of the total seats in Parliament, will be up for results.

We'll take a live look at Toronto and the KN Tower. If the Libertarian Socialists win a majority in Parliament, the tower will light up green. If the Liberals win, the tower will light up yellow. And so on. And if a coalition government must be formed, the tower will light up in the colors of the parties that form the coalition.

So far tonight, the Liberals have won one province, the Communists have won one province, the Conservatives have won two provinces, and the Libertarian Socialists have won two provinces. The only province so far that hasn't gotten a call is Princess Gloria Island. It is currently locked in a virtual tie between the Libertarian Socialists and the Conservatives.

The vote count right now in Princess Gloria Island is currently 154,925 for the Libertarian Socialists, 154,779 for the Conservatives, 48,032 for the Liberals, 2 for the Imperialists, and 882 for the Communists. 46% of the vote is in in Princess Gloria Island. The difference between the Libertarian Socialists and Conservatives is only 146.

So Tommy, the projection for Labradour was different than anything we'd heard before tonight.

TU: Yeah. I guess I wasn't aware that our projection team would have a different term for wins without gaining a majority.

MZ: Quite strange. Oh well. It is now 8:58 pm. We have more poll closings in less than two minutes. What are your thoughts on the 9:00 hour Tommy?

TU: This will be the defining hour for the Libertarian Socialists. If they don't win big here, we might not have a single party having a majority in Parliament.

MZ: With less than one minute to go, we will now show the graphic that shows the provinces having poll closings at this hour. As you can see, it's Saguenay, Quebec, Ontario, and Erie. 140 seats in Parliament at stake. And the polls are closed in

WE HAVE FOUR PROJECTIONS

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Conservatives will win Saguenay.

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Libertarian Socialists will win Quebec.

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Libertarian Socialists will win Ontario in an overwhelming victory.

KNN Projects that when all the votes are counted, the Libertarian Socialists will win Erie in a landslide victory.

Well Tommy, I guess here is our answer.

TU: Not all the votes have been counted, but it appears like the LSP probably didn't take too much of a hit in those three critical provinces of Quebec, Ontario, and Erie.

MZ: It does certainly give them a boost however.

TU: Yes. We don't have any figures yet. The minority vote could be Liberal. But it's perhaps unlikely that any party that's not the Libertarian Socialist Party will win the most votes tonight.

MZ: So should we just ignore the outcomes of Princess Gloria Island and the western provinces?

TU: Not at all. It's just they might not have much influence. The Libertarian Socialists still have great chance to win Superior because of Thunder Bay. But the voting is not over. But still, the Libertarian Socialists have seemingly built up an insurmountable lead.

MZ: Well I guess we should just stay tuned to see how things end up. We will be back. Stay tuned for more live election coverage!

With 100% of precincts reporting in Newfoundland, the vote stands at 1,196,642 Liberal, 801,933 Libertarian Socialist, 200,480 Conservative, 798 Communist, and 192 Imperialist. That is 54.39% LBL, 36.45% SOL, 9.11% CON, 0.04% COM, and 0.01% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Newfoundland will consist of SIX Liberals, FOUR Libertarian Socialists, and ONE Conservative.

We expect to have full results from Miquelon, Anticosti, and Labradour within the next hour. It is 9:38 pm and the last polls will close in Hudson, Huron, Superior, and Kenora in 22 minutes at 10:00 pm so stay tuned!

Welcome back to Kumania Votes! I'm Mckenzie Zylop joined by Tommy Uhara. It is 9:57 pm here in Kumania City. The final polls will close in Hudson, Huron, Superior, and Kenora in less than three minutes.

At 9:57 pm, we at KNN are changing the status of the electron in Princess Gloria Island from "Too Early to Call" to "Too Close to Call". Roughly three fourths of the vote has been counted in Princess Gloria Island, and only 1,000 votes separate the Libertarian Socialists and the Conservatives.

The final polls close in 30 seconds. For the final time tonight, we will put up the graphic showing the provinces having poll closings at this hour. As you can see, it's Hudson, Huron, Superior, and Kenora. And now the polls will close in

Welcome back to Kumania Votes! I'm McKenzie Zylop and it is 10:54 pm here in Kumania City. We have a lot of breaking news right now.

WE HAVE THREE PROJECTIONS

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Libertarian Socialists will win Princess Gloria Island without a majority.

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Conservatives will win Hudson.

KNN projects that when all the votes are counted, the Conservatives will win Kenora.

We still classify Superior as Too Early to Call and are reclassifying Huron as Too Close to Call.

We now have 100% of the results in from Miquelon, Anticosti, and Labradour.

The vote in Miquelon stands at 801,936 Communist, 387,320 Libertarian Socialist, 15,992 Liberal, 277 Conservative, and 2 Imperialist. That is 66.52% COM, 32.13% SOL, 1.33% LBL, 0.02% CON, and 0.00% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Miquelon will consist of FOUR Communists and TWO Libertarian Socialists.

The vote in Anticosti stands at 551,006 Conservative, 34,480 Imperialist, 9,092 Liberal, 3,789 Libertarian Socialist, and 620 Communist. That is 91.99% CON, 5.75% IMP, 1.52% LBL, 0.63% SOL, and 0.10% COM. The Parliamentary Delegation from Anticosti will consist of THREE Conservatives.

The vote in Labradour stands at 654,890 Conservative, 362,970 Imperialist, 207,290 Libertarian Socialist, 205,595 Liberal, and 56 Communist. That is 45.77% CON, 25.37% IMP, 14.49% SOL, 14.37% LBL, and 0.00% COM. The Parliamentary Delegation from Labradour will consist of THREE Conservatives, TWO Imperialists, ONE Libertarian Socialist, and ONE Liberal.

So far the number of seats won known is SEVEN Libertarian Socialists, SEVEN Liberals, SIX Conservatives, FOUR Communists, and TWO Imperialists.

98% of precincts are currently reporting in Princess Gloria Island which is why we've decided to call it for the Libertarian Socialists as it appears that the Conservatives just can't overcome the deficit of votes anymore. We should expect to receive word on the final outcome in New Brunswick and Saguenay in the next hour or so. So stay tuned for more updates!

Welcome back to Kumania Votes! I'm McKenzie Zylop and it is 11:32 pm here in Kumania City.

WE HAVE A PROJECTION

KNN projects that when all of the votes are counted, the Liberals will win Superior without a majority.

It appears that the Conservatives, Liberals, and Libertarian Socialists have all gotten a significant proportion of the vote each. However, it appears that the share of votes for the Liberals is larger than that of the Conservatives or the Libertarian Socialists. Superior is the third province tonight that will end up having a coalition government form.

We also have final results from several more provinces. We actually have just gotten full results from Princess Gloria Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Saguenay, Quebec, Ontario, and Erie.

The vote in Princess Gloria Island stands at 357,144 Libertarian Socialist, 350,002 Conservative, 78,240 Liberal, 1,683 Communist, and 12 Imperialist. That is 45.38% SOL, 44.47% CON, 9.94% LBL, 0.21% COM, and 0.00% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Princess Gloria Island will consist of TWO Libertarian Socialists and TWO Conservatives.

The vote in Nova Scotia stands at 2,848,998 Libertarian Socialist, 779,755 Conservative, 565,233 Liberal, 208,826 Communist, and 416 Imperialist. That is 64.70% SOL, 17.71% CON, 12.84% LBL, 4.74% COM, and 0.01% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Nova Scotia will consist of FOURTEEN Libertarian Socialists, FOUR Conservatives, THREE Liberals, and ONE Communist.

The vote in New Brunswick stands at 1,629,090 Libertarian Socialist, 809,755 Conservative, 193,266 Liberal, 178,227 Communist, and 86 Imperialist. That is 57.97% SOL, 28.81% CON, 6.88% LBL, 6.34% COM, and 0.00% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from New Brunswick will consist of EIGHT Libertarian Socialists, FOUR Conservatives, ONE Liberal, and ONE Communist.

The vote in Saguenay stands at 963,071 Conservative, 428,992 Liberal, 220,005 Imperialist, 214,997 Libertarian Socialist, and 753 Communist. That is 52.69% CON, 23.47% LBL, 12.04% IMP, 11.76% SOL, and 0.04% COM. The Parliamentary Delegation from Saguenay will consist of FIVE Conservatives, TWO Liberals, ONE Imperialist, and ONE Libertarian Socialist.

The vote in Quebec stands at 5,030,972 Libertarian Socialist, 1,799,420 Conservative, 1,402,160 Liberal, 555,029 Communist, and 11 Imperialist. That is 57.25% SOL, 20.48% CON, 15.96% LBL, 6.32% COM, and 0.00% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Quebec will consist of TWENTY-FIVE (25) Libertarian Socialists, NINE Conservatives, SEVEN Liberals, and THREE Communists.

The vote in Ontario stands at 8,403,069 Libertarian Socialist, 1,000,929 Communist, 817,282 Liberal, 174 Conservative, and 5 Imperialist. That is 82.21% SOL, 9.79% COM, 8.00% LBL, 0.00% CON, and 0.00% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Ontario will consist of FORTY-TWO (42) Libertarian Socialists, FIVE Communists, and FOUR Liberals.

The vote in Erie stands at 5,190,229 Libertarian Socialist, 1,207,777 Communist, 779,082 Liberal, 31,042 Conservative, and 4 Imperialist. That is 72.01% SOL, 16.76% COM, 10.81% LBL, 0.43% CON, and 0.00% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Ontario will consist of TWENTY-SIX (26) Libertarian Socialists, SIX Communists, and FOUR Liberals.

The total number of seats won by party tonight now stands at ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FIVE (125) Libertarian Socialists, TWENTY-EIGHT (28) Liberals, TWENTY-ONE (21) Conservatives, TWENTY (20) Communists, and THREE Imperialists.

Welcome back I'm McKenzie Zylop and we have more results!

100% of the precincts are now reporting in Hudson and Kenora.

The vote in Hudson stands at 1,201,211 Conservative, 750,257 Imperialist, 201,103 Libertarian Socialist, 71,998 Liberal, and 375 Communist. That is 53.99% CON, 33.72% IMP, 9.04% SOL, 3.24% LBL, and 0.02% COM. The Parliamentary Delegation from Hudson will consist of SIX Conservatives, FOUR Imperialists, and ONE Libertarian Socialist.

The vote in Kenora stands at 1,605,072 Conservative, 1,017,496 Imperialist, 160,829 Libertarian Socialist, 3,399 Liberal, and 277 Communist. That is 57.59% CON, 36.51% IMP, 5.77% SOL, 0.12% LBL, and 0.01% COM. The Parliamentary Delegation from Kenora will consist of EIGHT Conservatives, FIVE Imperialists, and ONE Libertarian Socialist.

The total number of seats won by each party tonight now stands at ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN (127) Libertarian Socialists, THIRTY-FIVE (35) Conservatives, TWENTY-EIGHT (28) Liberals, TWENTY (20) Communists, and TWELVE Imperialists.

A party needs 138 seats to win a majority in Parliament. We are only awaiting results from Huron and Superior, which collectively have 44 seats in Parliament.

It is now 11:52 pm AST.

WE HAVE A MAJOR PROJECTION

KNN projects that the Libertarian Socialists will have the most seats in Parliament.

WE HAVE A PROJECTION

KNN has declared the Libertarian Socialists to be the Apparent Winner of Huron.

It is 11:55 pm here in Kumania City and we now have 100% of the results in from Huron and Superior.

WE HAVE A MAJOR PROJECTION

KNN has declared that the Libertarian Socialists will have a majority of seats in Parliament.

The vote in Huron stands at 1,164,240 Libertarian Socialist, 1,156,969 Conservative, 87,761 Liberal, 1,071 Communist, and 769 Imperialist. That is 48.29% SOL, 47.99% CON, 3.64% LBL, 0.04% COM, and 0.03% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Huron will consist of SIX Libertarian Socialists and SIX Conservatives.

The vote in Superior stands at 2,429,687 Liberal, 1,967,852 Conservative, 1,405,012 Libertarian Socialist, 352,309 Communist, and 38,602 Imperialist. That is 39.23% LBL, 31.77% CON, 22.69% SOL, 5.69% COM, and 0.62% IMP. The Parliamentary Delegation from Superior will consist of TWELVE Liberals, TEN Conservatives, SEVEN Libertarian Socialists, and TWO Communists.

We quickly will apologize for we made a mistake in our counting of the Conservative seats in Parliament. However, we have the final numbers guaranteed correct.

The final number of seats in Parliament won by each party is ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY (140) Libertarian Socialists, SIXTY-ONE (61) Conservatives, FORTY (40) Liberals, TWENTY-TWO (22) Communists, and TWELVE Imperialists.

We now take a live look at the KN Tower in Toronto which is now lighted up green for the winners of today's general election, the Libertarian Socialist Party.

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

Kumanians went to the polls yesterday to determine the fate of Kumania for the next couple years. The Libertarian Socialists narrowly won a majority in Parliament getting 140 seats. This was a net loss of 29 seats for the Libertarian Socialists who entered the election having 169 seats in Parliament. Meanwhile, the Conservatives also lost 29 seats, having entered the election with 90 seats in Parliament and ending up winning only 61 seats yesterday. The Liberals won 41 seats, the Communists won 22 seats, and the Imperialists won 12 seats. The Communists were the only party to have seats prior to yesterday's election to actually gain seats. The Communists gained a total of six seats.

On the provincial level, the LSP lost 1 seat in Newfoundland, lost 4 seats in Miquelon, lost 1 seat in New Brunswick, lost 1 seat in Saguenay, lost 3 seats in Quebec, lost 4 seats in Ontario, lost 7 seats in Erie, gained 1 seat in Hudson, lost 8 seats in Superior, and lost 1 seat in Kenora. The Conservative Party lost 4 seats in Newfoundland, lost 3 seats in Labradour, lost 1 seat in Nova Scotia, lost 1 seat in New Brunswick, lost 2 seats in Saguenay, lost 3 seats in Quebec, lost 1 seat in Erie, lost 5 seats in Hudson, lost 5 seats in Superior, and lost 4 seats in Kenora. The Communist Party lost 1 seat in Newfoundland, gained 4 seats in Miquelon, lost 2 seats in Nova Scotia, gained 1 seat in New Brunswick, lost 1 seat in Quebec, gained 4 seats in Erie, and gained 1 seat in Superior. The Liberal Party gained 6 seats in Newfoundland, gained 1 seat in Labradour, gained 3 seats in Nova Scotia, gained 1 seat in New Brunswick, gained 2 seats in Saguenay, gained 7 seats in Quebec, gained 4 seats in Ontario, gained 4 seats in Erie, and gained 12 seats in Superior. The Imperialist Party gained 2 seats in Labradour, gained 1 seat in Saguenay, gained 4 seats in Hudson, and gained 5 seats in Kenora.

As the general election is over and all five party leaders won seats in their home provinces, the five party leaders are now heavily campaigning in their home provinces to make sure they'll be able to lead their parties in Parliament. King Jimmy announced that the new Parliament will have its term begin on 11 April. Calofasian Leader Alderic Wolfe praised the Kumanian elections. However, his Deputy Leader Helena Giroux criticized the Kumanian Communist Party for trying to win control of Kumania via an election instead of a revolution. Communist Kevin Bluecheese responded to Giroux's remarks outside of the Miquelon Communist Party headquarters in Reeds:

"While yesterday's election didn't go as we would have wanted it to, we still won some more seats in Parliament. Our message is growing. It's easy for Helena Giroux to criticize our party. The thing is, a revolution isn't easy to accomplish in Kumania. Revolution can only succeed when the People have their full support for it. If we tried a revolution right now, we would be destroyed. Being militant will only drive people away over here. Countless Kumanians have weapons. If the Kumanian people do not want revolution, they will assist the government in putting down the revolution. If the people do want revolution, then they will have a revolution. Timing is everything. For now, we must just spread our message more. The Kumanian people are a rather peaceful people. It will be difficult work to persuade them to think otherwise. Until then, we will carry on. And as communists, it is important that we do not have any division be made between us. United we stand. Divided we fall."

Election fever has continued today as Handlandians went to the polls to vote in parliamentary elections. The international media is still awaiting results from Handland regarding the outcome of the election. We at KNN don't expect to hear any results until early tomorrow morning at the earliest.

With the Kumanian general election over, a peace conference regarding the Balkan conflict has begun. King Jimmy is hosting the conference at the Royal Palace. This comes as Sagorth was captures by pro-Monarchist forces and Axeldonia and PLR severed diplomatic ties.

And that concludes our broadcast!

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

The results of the Handlandian election were revealed today. The new Handlandist Party won the election. Their leader, Tarik Lieving, was elected as the nation's new Prime Minister.

Kumanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Julian Basque has been sent to Arcadia in response to Mayor Sonny Montana's declaration of interest in establishing diplomatic relations with the Kumanians and others. Since Arctic States is still deemed unsafe, Minister Basque was accompanied by four of King Jimmy's personal guards. Other nations having representatives attend the meeting to establish diplomatic ties include PLR, SSR, and Blobfish.

There has been massive backlash against Calofasian Deputy Leader Helena Giroux's comments on the Kumanian election and the Kumanian Communist Party. In response to the backlash, Giroux made more negative comments against Kevin Bluecheese and the Kumanian Communist Party. A full-on feud is in effect now between Giroux and Bluecheese. Bluecheese responded to Giroux's comments at a campaign event today.

"I dare Giroux to come to Kumania and make a successful communist revolution happen. Don't you think that if we could have a successful revolution, we would do it? It's easy for some politician thousands of miles away who is completely ignorant of Kumanian society and politics to criticize us. But hey, if Giroux has so much negativity to say about us Kumanian communists, then I give her the right to come here and take charge. I speak directly to her now. Go ahead Helena. Since you think you can do a better job than me or any other Kumanian, come here to Kumania. Come meet with me here in Reeds and take charge of our party. The only thing stopping you is yourself. And maybe Kumanian immigration and customs agents. But it's mostly yourself. Good luck Helena. In the mean time, us Kumanians will do our own thing!"

And that concludes our broadcast!

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

In response to Communist Kevin Bluecheese's sarcastic remarks yesterday, Calofasian Deputy Leader Helena Giroux has expressed interest in coming to Kumania and taking charge of the Kumanian Communist Party. She also encouraged Bluecheese to lead a social democratic party in Kumania instead of the Communist Party. Libertarian Socialist Speaker of Parliament Paulina Sands spoke about the latter. Speaker Sands said, "Helena Giroux is a silly person. Kumania already has a social democratic party. That is the Libertarian Socialist Party. I actually feel bad for Kevin how he has to deal with Ms. Giroux. No one should have to interact with someone as foolish as Helena Giroux!"

Kevin Bluecheese defended himself once again, declaring, "There's no way in Hell that Helena Giroux will ever be allowed to run the Kumanian Communist Party. Yeah communism is a globalist movement. But the thing is, we Kumanians prefer to have a leader that's actually nearby, not thousands of miles away. That's why we oppose Crown Princess Gloria continuing to be the heir apparent if she marries Latrovian Prince Dominic and why absolutely no Kumanians will ever accept Helena Giroux as any kind of leader."

The Fuhrmanian people went to the polls today to elect a new Chancellor and the 650 members of the Bundestag. Fascist Jakoh Kline won 60% of the vote and the Fascist Party won 400 (61.5%) of the 650 seats in the Bundestag. The incumbent Liberal Chancellor Karola Fuhrmann didn't receive a single vote since politicians are prohibited from voting in elections. Meanwhile, the Calofasian government has declared its intention to fund the Oak Leaf Communist Party for the upcoming elections in Oak Leaf. The Calofasians hope that the Communists can coalition with the Greens in the new Oaklander parliament.

And that concludes our broadcast!

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

The Calofasian Communist Party held an emergency conference today regarding Calofasian Deputy Leader Helena Giroux and her recent actions. Several of Giroux's colleagues have denounced her for attacking Kevin Bluecheese and the Kumanian Communist Party. However, Calofasian Leader Alderic Wolfe was not in attendance at this meeting. It is still unknown what his opinion of the recent events is. Giroux responded to Speaker Paulina Sands by noting that she wouldn't lecture Speaker Sands on the many branches of leftist ideology. Speaker Sands had this to say in response: "I'm glad Helena is toning down. I have a country I have to help lead. I can't spend all my time arguing with a foreign politician that I've never met. Calofas and Kumania are supposed to be allies. It's a shame that the #2 person in Calofas is potentially harming the friendship between the two nations." King Jimmy has continued to decline to comment on the entire affair. Meanwhile, the Calofaian government has announced that it will also begin funding the Fuhrmanian Communist Party in response to the Fascist victory in yesterday's elections.

A ceasefire has apparently been reached between the Latrovians and Fuhrmanians as the Latrovian people mourn the loss of the 40,000 Latrovian troops who fought in Fuhrmania and Balkan Confederation. The Fuhrmanians have stated that they will help transport the dead back to Latrovian for proper burial.

Roman scientists have begun an ambitious project concerning particle physics. A series of satellites is planned to be created and launched during this project. There's also word that Roman drones on Mars are also a part of the project. King Jimmy has applauded the launch of this new project, saying, "Scientific advancement is always beneficial to everyone and I'm glad to hear that our Roman friends are participating in such extraordinary scientific advancement. I wish them the best!"

Today was the first slow news day in a while. The only real story is that Calofasian Deputy Leader Helena Giroux hasn't said any more remarks concerning Kumanian politics. This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

Last week was the calm before the storm. And today, all hell broke lose.

The Peoples Liberation Republic declared war on the Second Roman Republic today. This was caused after Arctic States informed the Arabs that the Romans were allegedly planning to invade PLR. A total shitstorm has erupted since war was declared. The entire militaries of the Arabs and Romans have been mobilized. The Fuhrmanians have declared neutrality. The Fuhrmanians have created a naval blockade to prevent foreign warships from entering their waters, but then the Blobfishians denounced this blockade. Blobfish has condemned the Arabs and threatened to declare war is a ceasefire isn't reached immediately. Aghrabia has declared neutrality. Handlandian troops are allegedly mobilizing to aid the Arabs. Mayor Sonny Montana of Arcadia has allegedly ordered missile bombardment of Blobfishian targets. This led to the Blobfishians entering the war on the side of the Romans. King Jimmy denounced the Arabs while also declaring Kumanian neutrality. However, Jimmy held a secret meeting with his Cabinet and the leaders of Parliament shortly after. It's rumored that the Kumanian government won't take any actions until the Calofasians respond to the outbreak of war. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian government has expressed significant disappointment with the nations of the world for creating more war.

The Arab government also invited the nations of the world to a global convention regarding peace and stability in the Arab city of Rafay shortly before war broke out. King Jimmy declared that the Kumanian government will boycott this convention, calling it "hypocritical" after the outbreak of war shortly after this convention was called. King Jimmy said the following regarding his decision to boycott the conference:

"I find it rather odd how on the same day PLR will spark a massive global war by declaring war on SSR that the Arab government would also host a global convention which aims to create peace and stability. I don't expect our Arab friends to miss us too much, however. Oh well perhaps another nation can attend this so called convention for global peace that acts as a voice of reason. Actions speak louder than words. If PLR truly wanted peace, they would have followed the diplomatic path instead of immediately jumping into war when it was alleged that the Romans were preparing to invade the Arab homeland. If PLR wants peace, and/or perhaps wants Kumania to be in attendance, I strongly recommend that the Arabs end all military operations immediately. Until then, Kumania will not attend this meeting."

Jakoh Kline was inaugurated as Chancellor of Fuhrmania today. Latrovian and Arab leaders both declared their intention to participate in the festivities for the inauguration. However, King Jimmy declared that neither he or any other Kumanian government official would attend the festivities since Kumanians don't celebrate fascists. Chancellor Kline and his Fascist Party won the Fuhrmanian elections the other day with a great majority of the vote.

And in much lighter news, it has been announced that the Royal Wedding of Crown Princess Gloria and Latrovian Prince Dominic will occur this Saturday 9 April at noon in Kumania City. However, there will actually be two ceremonies. There will be the ceremony here in Kumania this Saturday and then a ceremony in Latrovia sometime next week.

And that concludes our broadcast!

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

The Aghrabian government announced today that it would not attend the global convention in PLR due to the outbreak of war. The Aghrabian government stated the same narrative as the Kumanian government in deciding not to attend, noting the hypocrisy of calling for a conference of peace and stability on the same day that the hosts spark a global war.

King Jimmy announced that Kumania will sever diplomatic relations with all nations that support PLR as well as enact sanctions. In response, the Arabs somehow enacted sanctions on Kumania and positioned its navy along Kumanian trade routes in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. All Kumanian citizens residing in the Second Roman Republic were evacuated. However, the Kumanian government then expanded the evacuation to include all Kumanians currently in Europe. In response to the positioning of Arab ships along Kumanian trade routes, King Jimmy mobilized several RKSF fleets to take positions above the Atlantic and had several naval fleets in the Atlantic be positioned to protect the Kumanian trade routes.

King Jimmy then gave a speech regarding the current situation. The main points of the speech included condemnation of Handland for being "PLR's bitch", condemnation of PLR's allies and other nations who allegedly let foreign powers influence them instead of fighting for their sovereignty, an explanation of the ideological divide between Kumania and PLR, the disappointment in PLR for abandoning the values of CROSS, a threat to cancel the royal marriage between Gloria and Dominic if the Latrovians aid the Arabs, and a threat to destroy any and all nations who dare try to attack Kumania and its people.

Prime Minister Lieving of Handland responded to King Jimmy's speech by criticizing how Kumanians don't accept the right wing. To provide a response on these allegations, I am joined by King Jimmy, Speaker of Parliament Paulina Sands, and Conservative Leader Gary Paul.

SB: Your Majesty welcome!

JK: Thank you for letting me come on.

SB: Also welcome Madame Speaker and Mister Paul!

PS: Hello.

GP: Hi.

SB: So, Prime Minister Lieving has criticized Kumania for not accepting the right wing. Mr. Paul, would you care to comment?

GP: Yes. As we all know, the Conservative Party stands for right-wing values. It is an insult that the Prime Minister of one of the few nations in this world that practices what we stand for forgets we exist. Sure the Conservatives don't run the Kumanian government right now, but that doesn't mean there aren't Kumanians who are right-wing. I don't agree on politics with Ms. Sands or His Majesty. But if there's something we do agree on, it's that we all value Kumanian sovereignty. Handland is simply acting like a puppet of PLR these days.

PS: I will agree with Mr. Paul for this rare occurrence. No logical government would send its citizens to fight for someone else's interests. The Prime Minister may defend his government's actions as supporting an ally, but that's the only excuse. The thing is, the Romans didn't do anything to the Handlandians to make the Handlandian entrance into this war be reasonable. Handland simply followed their Arab masters yet again.

JK: I hate to say it but war is an option that is currently on the table. But we all agree that it'd only happen if our sovereignty is violated. We could enter the war right now and argue that the Arabs have violated our sovereignty by positioning their naval ships along our trade routes, but it's unlikely that it'd be an excuse accepted by the international community. And then we'd be stooping as low as the Arabs. No Arabs had blood shed at the hands of the Romans but war was declared. And now Roman blood is being spilled for no reason. The Arab government just continues to overreact. Those people over there are a quite unstable bunch I'll tell you. They're so damn paranoid that they will spark a world war at the simple mention of someone else having simply mentioned invading them. It's like that government is afraid to lose power. It's reasonable for the government to be afraid of losing power though. The government should be held accountable to the people. However, a government that actually answers to the will of the people wouldn't be as paranoid as the Caliphate. We are trying every diplomatic method in the book to try to avoid war. We simply want everyone to leave the Romans alone. They didn't do anything wrong. The sins of Axeldonia before the republic was established should not represent all Roman people. And a referendum was allegedly going to happen that would allow the people living in the Bosphorus to decide whether they want to be Roman or Aghrabian. Progress was happening and PLR has possibly ruined it. Anyone that associates with PLR should feel ashamed of themselves. They've prevented progress from happening.

SB: Thank you all for joining us.

And that concludes our broadcast!

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

At a speech concerning the ESSR's entrance into the war, Equestrian Premier Dimitri Nickerson was assassinated by an unknown person. This happened after the Premier asked the people in attendance to vote for which side the ESSR should support and the majority chose PLR's side. The international community has come together in shock and horror at this assassination. King Jimmy has declared that tomorrow will be a day of mourning and flags will be flown at half-staff.

Meanwhile, the first troops from Lower Midland landed on the northern shores of the SSR and Lower Midland declared war on Fuhrmania, Calofas, and Blobfish after the three strongly condemned the recent actions done by Lower Midland against Romans. In response, King Jimmy announced that Kumania will aid the three to help destroy Lower Midland, saying, "One less fascist authoritarian nations under the thumb of the Arabs is good for the world." A diplomat from Blobfish has also arrived in Kumania City to privately meet with King Jimmy.

Yesterday was opening day for the Kumanian National Baseball League. Fans are looking forward to a great 2016 season. There is great hope among baseball fans that war won't break out so there will be no interference on the season. Two opening games were postponed to today due to snow.

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

The Latrovians have invited pretty much everyone to attend a peace conference in the Latrovian city of Kingsfall concerning the current global war between PLR, SSR, and others. The Arabs, Blobfishians, and Kumanians have already announced their intention to attend this peace conference. Kumanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Julian Basque is already on his way to Latrovia to represent Kumania at this conference. The news of Minister Basque travelling outside of Kumania has shocked many considering it's rare for high level Kumanian government officials to be outside of Kumania when war is an extreme possibility.

As Minister Basque is travelling to Latrovia, all 275 current Members of Parliament were joined by the new Members-elect of Parliament in their respective home provinces to attend town halls to gain input from their constituents on a possible Kumanian entrance into the current global war. Tomorrow, Parliament will reconvene for probably the last time this term. It is rumored that the possibility of a declaration of war being proposed is extremely high.

There is support for Kumania declaring war against PLR and PLR's allies all across the political spectrum in Kumania. The Communists have a positive opinion because PLR is the top fascist nation in the world and communists and fascists typically want to destroy each other. Conservatives and Imperialists have a positive opinion because they see a war against PLR as an opportunity to show off Kumania's military might to the world. And the Liberals and Libertarian Socialists have a positive opinion because they realize that PLR poses as a serious threat to the sovereignty of Kumanians and it's becoming more and more difficult to ignore the atrocities being committed by PLR, Lower Midland, Arcadia, and others. However, with the invitation from the Latrovians of a peace conference, if war is to be declared, such a declaration is likely to be postponed so peace can be given a last chance.

And that concludes our broadcast!

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

The Fuhrmanians and Calofasians launched a joint-invasion of Lower Midland today. An estimated 1.25 million troops between the two have landed in Lower Midland. The Calofasians have also created a blockade of Lower Midland using several of their fleets.

In a surprising move, Arab Caliph Azman announced that Moammar Nasir Al-Abdullah would be replacing his son as Prime Minister of the Peoples Liberation Republic. The first order of business was to halt all Arab military operations in the Second Roman Republic. The Handlandians have also halted military operations due to the upcoming peace conference in Latrovia. King Jimmy applauded the Arab leadership change but stated that Kumanian armed forces would remain in their positions until a peace treaty is signed by everyone who has been involved in any theater of this global war. The Royal Parliament failed to have a single MP propose a declaration of war. It is rumored that the peace conference and the halt of Arab and Handlandian military operations is the cause of this.

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

Today saw the end of the war in Lower Midland and the end of the reign of King Rhaul. It all began when Kumanian naval fleets reached their positions north of PROE for a blockade of Lower Midland. Then the Royal Parliament declared war on Lower Midland this morning. The first shots fired by Kumanian starships around Lower Midland were fired as King Jimmy announced to the world that Kumania had declared war on Lower Midland in the following speech:

"Good afternoon. For quite a while, Kumania has sat back and observed the many wars abroad. We've done our best to keep ourselves out. However, there comes a time when we consciously cannot stay on the sidelines any further. There is something we can do and it becomes more painful everyday to not do anything to halt further atrocities from occurring. With that being acknowledged, the Royal Republic of Kumania has hereby declared war on Lower Midland. The Royal Parliament approved this war declaration unanimously this morning. We shall come together and let the world know that no longer will Kumania tolerate such irrelevant shitholes like Lower Midland. We will not tolerate anymore atrocities. Indeed Kumania is participating in a peace conference in Latrovia, but this war is different. King Rhaul is a tyrant who has so much blood and horror on his hands. It is time for the people of Lower Midland to be freed from this suffering. Kumanian forces will work closely with the Calofasians, Blobfishians, and Fuhrmanians to bring justice to the people of Lower Midland. And we will let it be clear that the Kumanian people have had enough of this bullshit. The Kumanian people are ready for the ultimate sacrifice to bring an end to the atrocities of tyranny, instability, injustice, and murder. I encourage all other nations who are currently committing these same atrocities to stop or else the hammer of justice will fall upon them. May the Royal Republic of Kumania continue to be glorious and eternally blessed!"

Shortly after it was announced that Kumania had declared war on Lower Midland, all Blobfishian forces in Lower Midland had retreated to defend their homeland from the Arcadians. King Jimmy declared that he would ask for a declaration of war on Arcadia from the Royal Parliament if the Arcadians didn't leave the Blobfishians alone and give peace a chance. The Royal Parliament also passed a bill that immediately began funding for the Romans shortly after the Roman government announced demands from the nations who had declared war on the SSR.

The fatal blow to King Rhaul's reign came when Fuhrmanian forces overran Lower Midlandian defensive trenches near Tacon. When word reached King Rhaul, he surrendered to the Fuhrmanians. A plan has already been created of how Lower Midland should be occupied by the coalition of Kumanians, Fuhrmanians, and Calofasians. Since the Blobfishians retreated before the surrender of King Rhaul, it's unlikely that they will be able to have an occupation zone in Lower Midland. A trial is likely to be held for all members of King Rhaul's government that committed crimes.

And that concludes our broadcast!

This is the KNN International Daily Recap with Sally Bungolos!

Hello, I'm Sally Bungolos, and here are today's top stories.

Crown Princess Gloria and Latrovian Prince Dominic got married today in Kumania City. The couple will remain in Kumania for the rest of the weekend before flying to Latrovia on Monday.

However, the royal wedding isn't the most talked-about event today regarding Kumanian-Latrovian affairs. Latrovian King Alexander I criticized the Kumanians saying, "The Kumanians should have used their ground forces rather than their starships. The Latrovian kingdom is not happy that Lower Midland was heavily bombed and attacked by starships, to the point that we still do not know the number of the fallen and murdered citizens." In response to this statement, King Jimmy gave the following address:

"Good morning. It has come to attention that our Latrovian friends are not happy that our military used our starships in military operations against Lower Midland. I will take the time now to defend our use. First of all, I am pleased to announce that zero Kumanians died during the short amount of time that Kumania was at war with Lower Midland. Since our military technology was so much superior than that of the Lower Midlandians, the enemy stood no chance. However, we were careful in choosing our targets. We made sure that we were only targeting the enemy regime, and not the people. We avoided targeting civilian areas as much as possible. I won't go into all of the details since it'd take a long time and could possibly be a breach of top secret information, but we have confirmed that no civilians were killed by Kumanian forces so perhaps that's why it's been difficult for the Latrovians to find out how many civilians were killed by Kumanian forces. There were no civilian casualties to be found! We hit 100% of our targets and didn't suffer any casualties or kill anyone who wasn't supposed to be killed. If that's not success, then I don't know what is.

"I find it deeply concerning that Alexander thinks Kumania should've had boots on the ground. Such statements like that make me worry that he would've wanted Kumanian blood to be spilled. As a friend of Kumania, the Latrovians should be happy that we were able to accomplish our mission as quickly as possible with such excellent results. The fact that Alexander thinks our starships should've have been used is also concerning. We spent billions and billions of Kumans developing our starship fleets. We're still developing more and more starships. Why would you not use such amazing military technology if you have it? It's like in baseball benching your veteran all-star slugger designated hitter for some inexperienced rookie that barely bats above the Mendoza line. It just makes no sense. Kumania developed these starships to significantly reduce Kumanian casualties. These starships aren't just for show. We will keep using them in military operations as long as Kumanian forces are involved in military operations. I don't tell the Latrovians or anyone else how to operate their military. So I encourage Alexander to not tell me how to operate mine. Thank you."

In other news, the Arab government has announced plans to increase spending for the environment and to pursue alternative sources of energy instead of being so dependent on coal and oil. Several Kumanian environmentalist groups have applauded this move. Kumania already widely uses alternate energy sources.

And that concludes our broadcast!
