8th of May Hello and Welcome to a historic first broadcast here on Calofas State News! I'm Bonifacio Durant and here are today's headlines. After months of communication reforms outlawing private media today the Calofas State Media which controls CSR has now set up Calofas State News for national and international News broadcasts. The reforms are said to end corruption by privately owned media and end the unfair influence wealthy press barons gain through controling large portions of the industry. These reforms have been instituted to protect the democracy of Calofas. Our next news headline the is continued fall out over the leaked Barros report in the so called Pox-Gate Scandal. Which seen a bioweapons report leaked to Kumanian Network KNN International. It is unknown who has been responsible for the leak but it has been suggested that the leak may of came from the Committee of Public Health. This is fueled by rumours that Pierre Eusabio has been removed from his position as chair of the committee. Our final news story is that an unexpected vote is to take place in the Kumanian Parliament over a referendum to replace the monarchy of Kumania with a presidential system. The referendum is thought to take place as early as the 11th of June. Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee Adio Cavey, who has spent time in Kumania representing Calofas joins us now. Thank you for coming. What do you make of this recent move? AC: To be honest this kinda came out of the blue. King Jimmy Kuma is a great leader who always puts his people first. I thought only the Communist Party of Kumania supports the abolition of the monarchy. BD: Do you think there should be a referendum? AC: If there is an appetite from the people to hold a referendum then of course there should be. The problem with a monarchy is that although King Jimmy is a great leader, but there is no guarantee his successor or successors will be as effective or deserving. BD: You mentioned the Communist Party of Kumania, now they seem to have changed their tune since the Giroux-Bluecheese verbal sparring. They seem to be unsupportive of the bill and now have perhaps have taken onboard what Deputy Leader Giroux said. AC: It's not my concern what the non-governing party of Kumania does. And with regards to the outbursts of Deputy Giroux you'd need to talk to her about it. Personally I left those outburst flew in the face of international solidarity. BD: Ok, Adio Cavey thank you for joining us . This is Calofas State News and on our first broadcast thank you for joining us. Edited by Calofas, May 24 2016, 02:28 AM.

24th of May Hello and Welcome to Calofas State News. I'm Bonifacio Durant and here is today's news. The leader of the Riadistan Communist Party Yusuf al-Thuri is still on the run after escaping from prison. However it is thought that Mr al-Thuri is ready to begin a violent revolution against ruling president Yuhanna Riadi. This is supposedly off the back of comments from the leader of the Kumanian Communist Party leader Kevin Bluecheese. Currently there are rumours circulating that the Communist Party of Riadistan is secretly being given funds by the government of Calofas. While the Party officially denies interfering with other nations domestic politics. Previously the League of Communists of Calofas has went on record to state support for international communist moments. We are now joined by Party Deputy Leader Helena Giroux, who of course is no stranger to causing international controversy. BD: Deputy Leader, previously you have openly criticized Mr Bluecheese and his party. What do you make in the change of his approach? HG: Well, I think perhaps he has taken on board some of what I said previously. I know I have learned from some of his responses. BD: Do you regret the whole international spate you caused? HG: I perhaps regret how public it was. But in general I think it was a learning experience of all involved. BD: Does Calofas actively support communist movements in other nations? HG: Yes. We would not be a communist nation if we did not do our part to spread international solidarity and peace. I think it is clear that internationally, workers around the world need to unite and work together. Socialism in one country is something that is very difficult to achieve. We cannot turn our backs on the oppressed people of the world. I am proud to say that Calofas does actively support other communist movements. BD: Why is Calofas one of the very few Communist nations on the planet? HG: That is an interesting question. Firstly we don't really know how many nations declare themselves as Communist. Calofas is one of the few that openly declare that. I think communist movements fail in other countries due to a lack of guidance and cohesion. History has taught us how fractured a political group can become. This is how capitalism has been able to hold out against the will of the workers, it employs methods to divide. To break apart the vehicles that will carry the people into power. BD: Do you think there is a way to defeat capitalism for once and for all? HG: Yes it is for these independent movements to work together towards a common goal. BD: You mentioned the need for guidance among international groups. guidance from who? HG: From each other. But as Calofas is one of the few nations to successfully stage a revolution and is a leading example of a Communist nation, then we should look to take a more leading role. We should be doing more to help others. Deputy Leader, thank you for joining us. That is CSN for tonight. Thank you for watching, goodnight. |
