sony hit it out of the ballpark this year. almost everything they showed got my interest, and what didn't wasn't bad still. nintendo did their own thing and, even though they showed little and even came out saying they'd show little, they did such a good job. probably setting those expectations and giving us a LOT on Zelda went very far. plus pokemon info was super good. |

Guys I've been scouring the interwebs looking for any trailer released in the past week that is remotely Nintendo related. I'm doing so I can post the link on the main post of this topic. So if you find one that I missed, let me know. Also this happened on sunday... |

We can debate who won E3, but numbers speak for themselves.

I love how Zelda has been so popular around the internet. I like many speculated that focusing the E3 events on Zelda would be bad and that it could only work if Zelda was amazing in every way. And somehow it was. :p :3 |

Could we at least agree Nintendo's E3 this year was better than some of the ones where they actually tried?

It definitely caught my interest more than 2012, 2013 and 2015 ever did. Not sure about 2011, but eh, I barely remember it too. |

I have to say Nintendo planned this brilliantly. First they tell us Zelda will be the only thing at E3, dropping out expectations down to the lowest thing ever. I was expecting this to be pretty boring other than Zelda. Then bam, psyche! We actually got a whole bunch of games to show and tons of new trailers and Zelda's the greatest thing ever. What clever trolls. Certainly worked for me, I quite enjoyed this E3. ![]() Being serious though, I'm very curious to know if this is a format Nintendo may stick to at future E3s? No more conferences, just have treehouse streams showing off each game, with each game's turn starting with a new trailer for it? I mean, in theory this makes sense. People always say that they want their conferences to only be about the games. And if all an ideal conference is is tons of game trailers back to back, then.....not having a conference is fine? I mean this way you're not forced to watch the trailers for games you don't care for just to wait for the last one, this way if they like, provided a schedule before E3, you can know what games to tune in to so that you enjoy the stream more. I don't know, I think this works a lot, and I wonder if this will be the future for Nintendo at E3s. No more conferences, just streams, hm.......what do you guys think? |

Is there something going on in Japan that I don't know about? Cause the 3DS has been getting a slew of announcements/Trailers for Anime based games this week. Not sure if it's some post E3 thing, or just one big coincidence. |
