Hello! You may be reading this because you’re interested in becoming a diplomat, not sure what exactly a diplomat is, or simply browsing the forum. No matter who you are, the following (hopefully not too boring) paragraphs will give a little insight into what a diplomat is and what they do. Being a diplomat could include a wide range of jobs, but the most important is usually keeping contact between allies. Diplomats may need to message the leader or diplomats of allies to give updates or find out what’s been going on lately to keep allies close. Another aspect of the job is that when situations arise, such as a threat of war, diplomats may try to make peace or become links of communication. This is important as it could protect an entire alliance’s members. But apart from the serious side of the job, diplomats also get to befriend many other DT players from other alliances by traveling through forums of allies, which can be very rewarding! If you’re a member of TQW, and are interested in applying for being a diplomat, follow through to the second post to view the requirements. ^^ |

Welcome! Assuming you’re a member of TQW and interested in becoming part of the diplomatic guild, read the following! Wondering if you’ve got what it takes? General Requirements for Becoming a Diplomat *Be able to write/spell decently [important for messaging, first impressions matter!] *Patient, and have an open mind! *An important thing to note is that diplomats must remain neutral and maintain an objective viewpoint, if everything you say stimulates angry responses, being a diplomat may not be for you… =P If you think you possess the above qualities, and would like to apply to be a diplomat, fill out the follow application, answer the questions, and send it to me (iakai) via messaging in-game or by Personal Message in the forum! |
