Points: 0/0 Coupon: Companions: (0/4) Sōji, Heishi Croc [I see every job through to the end.] General Information Age: 18 Gender: Male Height: 5'8" Weight: 150lbs Hair: Heishi has his golden, almost white, blond hair cropped short in a military fashion. Eyes: Gun metal blue. Physical Features: Heishi has always been a long range fighter, and as such he does not have many scars, unless you count the different Fuuinjutsu he has burned on to his body. His body is lean, with only slight muscle tone, as one would expect from an archer. His skin is fair, no longer pale since fleeing the village he once called home. While his body is almost completely free of scars, the most prominent ones are the X shaped scars on both of his cheeks, from when an arrow passed clean through his mouth. Maybe one of the more defining features about Heishi is his teeth, seeing as they are all pointed, somewhat like a crocodile's, many will look away from him if he is not wearing his mask, which was the very intent behind filing his teeth down. Heishi has four Fuuinjutsu that he has scarred on to his body using the Finger Engraving teachnique; Detect, Night Vision, Swift, and Ammunition Seal. The first seal, Detect, has been scarred on to his right bicep. On his left calf muscle is the Swift seal, while the Night Vision seal has been seared on to his right shoulder blade. Finally, of the inner part of each forearm is the Ammunition Seal, which takes on the form of an arrow, and covers his entire forearm. Clothing/Accessories: Heishi's attire reeks of efficiency. His every need is taken into consideration when dressing each day, down the minute detail. His undergarments are dawned with the intention to both wick sweat for heated combat, and also to insulate for temperatures that might otherwise prove to be a hinderance. He wears a long sleeved, skin-tight shirt and matching pants, both being black. These are entirely covered, however, by his secondary layer of clothing. Over his initial layer is a pair of loose trousers and a mesh on his upper body that can serve as an almost soft chain mail, aiding in protecting him against indirect blows. Heishi binds his pants at the knee with sturdy plated shin guards that also have a layer if internal mesh for comfort and shock absorption. These shin guards continue almost seamlessly into a pair of steel plated boots. Similarly his upper body is protected thoroughly while maintaining flexibility. His torso is covered with a sort of plate armor with links and joints in all the needed areas to allow perfect motion while still keeping him safe. The armor covers his shoulders and arms as well, plating them in a protective covering, with the arm guards having spiked protrusions for blocking, climbing, or even attacking. The finishing touches to the weaponized wardrobe are more like tools than accessories. Even the tassels hanging from the backs of his knees and the long scarf draped around his neck serve the purpose of silence. His belt of sorts also caries a plated loin cloth piece to protect against groin shots, and his thighs are protected by armor almost similar to that of a samurai. At the back of the belt hangs a Wakizashi and Tanto, and on both hips are kunai holsters. In order to protect himself, and his gear, from the variations in weather as he travels, Heishi wears a thick leather duster, with a large matching cowl, that drapes over his body. In order to hide his crocodile like teeth, Heishi often wears a black bandanna over his mouth and nose, tying it behind his ears. Forehead Protector: N/A Personality: Heishi has always believed that money makes the world go 'round, and is the main thing that drives him to do the things he does. Willing to do just about anything to make money. Ranging from stealing, to threatening people, to even sleeping with any woman who will pay him enough, Heishi holds no remorse for the things he does. His motivation to make money aside, Heishi has many personal rules that he abides by, and expects others that work with him to abide by. His first, and most important, rule is that no child should ever being harmed in anyway, because they are innocent of any crimes. Should anyone that works with him, or deals with him break this rule he will turn on them without a second thought. It should also be noted that he will never, under any circumstances, take a job that involves children, unless it is to remove them from harm. Heishi's second rule is almost exactly the same as his first rule, though it involves animals that have not been trained for battle, even then he prefers not to harm them. Though he has many more rules he lives by, he has never, and would never write them down, but instead expects anyone that works with him to memorize them, and live by them as well. Having never felt the need to get emotionally close to anyone, Heishi puts no stock in friendship. His emotions have hardened and his need for companionship has been removed. Though the urge to satisfy nature's intent is there, it is usually taken care of with a few coins and a trip to a brothel. The only relationships the man builds are those with potential allies. He recognizes their potential and how beneficial they can be. He holds these with a grain of sand, however. With the paranoia of betrayal and being stabbed in his back always on his mind, he stays on alert and never allows himself to get too comfortable. Jutsu: Fuuinjutsu Flawless Aim Toryu Hidden Mist History Heishi's family was never more growing up, nor were they well off. While he was not a child to get what he wanted when he wanted, his parents always had food on the table, and made sure he had new clothes when he needed them. Being shinobi of the village hidden within the mists, it was no surprise when they died in the line of duty, however, the amount of money they had saved up in order to send him to the academy was. Heishi had never shown interest in becoming a shinobi, but knowing that it was his parents dying wish, he entered and did his best in everything. Never really average at anything, he showed natural skill in archery, Ninjutsu, and other forms of Taijutsu, though he lacked almost any skill in the illusion arts of Genjutsu. Once Heishi became a Genin it was obvious that he was a natural born ranged fighter, which lead the village to pair him with a Genin who specialized in close combat. For a while it seemed that they were the perfect team, and he even let his guard down with the boy. Heishi had actually made a friend for the first time in his life, and who would become the only friend he actually ever had. Riku was one of those kids who seemed to not know the definition of sadness, and always had a smile on his face, so it was no surprise to Heishi when he began to become even closer to the boy. The two went every where, and did everything together, even moved in together so that they could train non-stop. Riku and Heishi finished the missions that were required for them to take their Chuunin exam in what seemed to be a very short amount of time. Heishi's skill with archery had increased to such a degree that he had rarely ever missed, much less so when he and Riku fought within his Hidden Mist technique. The team had developed their own way to work perfectly together within the mist, even when they could not see each other. At first they used a Fuuinjutsu that Riku had created that pulsed when two copies of the same seal were in close proximity to each other. And after a lot of practice, Heishi had learned how to see through his own mist with a Ninjutsu he created, and taught it to Riku. With this combination the two boys passed their Chuunin exam almost without any flaws. Though their fighting skills, and tea work, had been flawless, the two had shown zero self control when it came to harming their proctor. The village council had deemed the boys unfit to continue on to the rank of Chuunin until they learned self control, which set into motion the choice that would change Heishi's life forever. Being denied the rank of Chuunin had depressed Heishi, and utterly pissed Riku off. The entire night he did nothing other than train in a ferocious manner to let out his anger. As sun began to rise Riku had finally taken a shower, and climbed into bed with Heishi, waking him up. It turned out that Riku had been doing much more than training while he released his anger on the training posts down in the training grounds. Riku described to Heishi a plan to escape the village so that they could do whatever they wanted whenever they wanted, without a council telling them that they were unworthy of rising in power as he saw it. Willing to follow his partner anywhere, Heishi agreed without a second thought, and the boys began to prepare. Wanting to keep the level of attention on themselves minimum, the boys took weeks to gather the supplies they would need to not only escape, but to survive once they made it out of the village. The plan was simple; Heishi would create his mist to hide their escape, and the boys would use their ability to see through it to take out any who blocked their path. As they fled the village in the cover of his mist, Heishi had notched an arrow to fire at one of the guards at the village gate, but had ended up needing it, because Riku had killed both of them before he even had the chance to loose his arrow. The boys had not expected there to be guards stationed outside of the gates, and so Heishi loosed his arrow at the one on his right, thinking that Riku would go for the left as was their usual attack plan. It was then that Heishi had committed the one thing he never would have willingly; he killed Riku. Heishi did not know why Riku had decided to go for the guard on the right rather than the left, until he noticed that the woman was already dead, but before the guard had a chance to react, Heishi loosed another arrow which sank into the man's heart. Stopping only for a second, Heishi picked up Riku's lifeless body, and carried it away from the village. The first arrow Heishi had loosed at the guard had severed Riku's spinal cord, killing him instantly. And so, once he was sure that no one could find them, Heishi sent the boat that he had escaped the island back out into the sea with Riku's body, and quite a lot of tender, and set it ablaze with a flaming arrow. With Riku's body destroyed, which had been a massive clue as to where Heishi was, he ran. he was unsure of how long he ran, but once he felt safe enough to make camp he did so, and began to plan out what he would do from there. Riku had told him that they could become Mercs, or mercenaries as was the proper name for them, and he planned to stick to that plan. With the person he cared about most dead, Heishi shut himself off from the rest of the world emotionally, refusing to get tied to anyone ever again. From then on he traveled through the minor countries doing whatever jobs he could take, though eventually he began to only take high paying jobs. Word of him, and his crocodile like teeth, began to spread through out the minor countries, and soon enough people began to refer to him as Croc, or the Mercenary Crocodile, which he kind of like. Most recently Heishi has based his operations out of the Land of Pebbles, and often trains in the country's main dojo. Edited by Garasu, Jan 18 2014, 02:35 AM.

Once his time in the academy was over, and he had been promoted to Genin, Heishi had been paired with a close range fighter named Riku. The boys went on countless amounts of missions together; mostly finding lost pets, or helping the local fishermen on their boats, but once Heishi got a taste of making his own money to immediately took a liking to it. This love of making money was the only motivation he needed to train his abilities, and to grow in strength, because once he did so he would be able to take on higher ranked missions, which more money. Riku and Heishi seemed to be the perfect team once they began to actually take on missions that required the skills that they each possed. The boys spent just over a year as Genin before they took their Chuunin exam. With Riku's close combat training, and Heishi's long range training, not to mention his skill with the Hidden Mist style, the boys passed their Chuunin exam with only a few demerits. Though they had been granted the rank of Chuunin, the boys had been scolded about their lack of self control when fighting. Now able to take on higher ranking missions with their new found rank, the boys began to push themselves more and more with each mission, in an effort to complete them as quickly as possible. Their urge to complete as many missions as possible was not drive by their hopes of fame, but by money. It was easy to see that they were greedy, and this made a bad combination when paired with their lack of self control. it was not long when the boys began to secretly plan a way to leave the village in order to make money on their own without having to give a portion of it to Kirigakure. It was simple really; Heishi would use his Hidden Mist jutsu to hide their escape, and Riku would take point, and kill any guard they came in contact with. Charged with taking care of the guards on the wall, Heishi loosed arrow after arrow in order to dispatch his targets, and once they had made it out of the village Heishi turned his bow on Riku's unsuspecting back. Loosing an arrow at Riku, Heishi killed the boy instantly be severing his spinal cord, and stopped only to explain, to the dead body, that he would make more money by himself than with a partner. The day had started young, the sun not even breaking the horizon when Heishi geared up for the days ahead of him. It had been to long since he had visited the one place that he even remotely had ties to, the dojo where he had begun to learn Toryu. No matter how badly he treated the people there, they had always treated him as if he were apart of the family, and over time he had begun to consider them as such. Though he prided himself on never making bonds with those he worked with, or even those he knew personally, this "family" or sorts was a secret he would take to his grave. Each time he traveled to the dojo he always tried to bring something for the younger members, small things he picked up on his travels, as many of them never got to leave the area surrounding the dojo. This time he had brought each of them small figurines that he had come across in a very small town off the coast of a country he could not seem to remember the name of. Heishi was like that though, never really caring where he was, as long as he had work to do. To the world he was known as Soji, "Croc" Heishi; a merc who was willing to do anything to money. but to the gentle folk at the dojo in the Land of Pebbles, he was simply known as Hei. Even with his gruesome looking teeth they did not judge him, nor did they care what he did, so long as he did not bring any trouble to the dojo. He was not sure why, but having a place that he could "come home to," was a feeling like any other that he knew. |
