Kirimura, Hakain

Theme

"A snake hidden within the grass stays unseen until it is ready to strike."

General Information
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 150lbs
Hair: Hair as black as night, softer than the kiss of a cool breeze, and more wavy than a rippling pond, Hakain's hair is relatively short, though it is quite thick. His side burns fall to his jawline, while his bangs are always side swept out of his face. For the most part Hakain's hair lays flat against his head, yet he has a cowlick on his parietal that refuses to lay flat.

Eyes: Hakain's eyes are a stunning silver blue color, though they are often dulled by a film of chakra when he uses his Sensory Plug: Sight jutsu.

Physical Features: Through the course of his hard childhood, his Iaido training, and his recent training as a Genin, Hakain's skin has accumulated quite a few scars. These scars range from simple horizontal scars resulting from climbing through thorn bushes, to indentions in his skin from being bitten by the various stray dogs in the outer rings of Kirigakure. However, his scars that resulted from his Iaido training are what cover his body the most. Hakain's former mentor had believed in training through experience fighting, which is how Hakain got the massive X scar that covers the entire front side of his torso, from each shoulder to each hip. This was also how he got the scar across his left cheek.

Hakain's most recent scar is the one left on his back from being whipped with a bull whip when he saved a dog from an abusive owner. All of Hakain's scars are a very light shade of pink, though they stand out well against his pale, Kirigakure skin tone. He has high cheek bones, and dimples when he truly smiles, not to mention the crow's feet that appear by his eyes with the dimples. His long fingers, and square shaped palms allow for a better grip on his swords. It should be noted that Hakain's pinky finger on each hand do not have fingernails. His feet are rather skinny, and are average size for the size of his body, though they only have an arch on the inner most portion of his feet, leaving the outside of them flat. It should be noted that Hakain keeps his entire body completely hairless, except for the hair on his head.

Clothing/Accessories:

His first layer of clothing exists solely as a plain deep black colored top, untextured and coarse, marked more as a tight shirt than anything. It appears to be made of a single piece of cloth, woven by a master with no increments of stitching or signs of thread used upon the piece. Said shirt hangs loosely from his figure, which he tucks into the umanori or divided hakama. This umanori, tied snugly at the waist with a navy piece of silk, is still different from the average ninja's. Each leg flutters down to the ankle, just where Hakain's boots poke from beneath. Along the path to the foot, the umanori are split in eight places around the calf, each split is used to better circulate air to the wearer. As articles of clothing go, the rest of Hakain's ensemble is simple. Over the black-shirt is a simple vest, the brunt of which is pure white; however, along the neck line and the stitches are a ice blue in lay giving a more regal appearance. Hakain's boots cover his calf muscles entirely, stopping just below his knees, and expose not only his toes, but most of his feet as there is only two straps holding the sole to his feet in order to allow full, unrestrained, movement. Hakain wears a pitch black Haori that only connects in front of his abdomen, exposing his chest, and the hilts of both of his swords. His haori has a hood that is deep enough to keep his entire head hidden from view without restricting his eyesight.

Hakain has recently adopted a new set of clothes, as to keep his only other set from getting worn out more so than they already are. This new set of clothes begins with a simple long sleeve fish net shirt, with a light gray short sleeve shirt on top of it. On top of that is a woodland green wool hoodie, with a thick, brown bear fur trim around it. While the jacket is made of wool it is insulated with a thin layer of short hair bear fur, to help protect Hakain from Kirigakure's cold weather. Moving down to his lower extremities; Hakain wears low cut commando pants that secure tightly to his ankles and waist, but are loose around his legs. The pants have two traps that begin at the top of the pants, on the back side, that cross before wrapping around the front of his legs, stopping at his knees. While wearing this outfit Hakain secures Viper and Cobra to his left hip through the use of steel clips that fit tightly around the sheath, holding them in place. It should be noted that the clips have a quick release so that Hakain can take them off his hip when he wants to. Though everything else is new with this outfit, Hakain wears the same ninja boots that he does with his original outfit.

Forehead Protector: Tied around his left bicep over his Haori, or the sleeve of his wool jacket depending on the outfit he is wearing.
Personality:

Perseverance is about the only word that can aptly describe Hakain in a single word. No matter what happens, no matter what stands in his way he will continue to move forward. He is always pushing his limits, always pushing towards some new goal of his, and will keep pushing until he reaches that goal. No matter how badly his body is injured, no matter how many of his friends die, Hakain will move forward, he will get the job done at whatever the cost. Because of this iron will to move forward Hakain has no love for the village, or the people in it, however, this is not to say that he hates them either. Hakain feels that those that are around him, the villagers and ninja of Kirigakure, are simply there to use as tools to make himself stronger, to help him reach his goals. He is not solely focused on battle however, though that is a major factor in his personality, Hakain is more focused on ways to completely conquer those that he faces, mind and body.

This love to completely conquer his enemies has led to Hakain's love of poisons, and as an extension, Iijutsu. While he is not a healer, Hakain is a medic, one who is focused on poisons and potions rather than using jutsu to manipulate the body. Everything that goes through Hakain's mind has something to do with Poisons, or his training as a samurai, this varies from learning, and memorizing various plant types, their effects on the mind and the body, as well as different animal venom. He is always striving to learn more about poisons, and potions, figuring out new ways to use them with his samurai training.

Hakain does not view girls as most boys his age does. Rather than being attracted to women, he views them as either an ally or an enemy, nothing more, nothing less. He has no problem making friends with women, but currently finds no interest in dating them, rather, he finds no interest in dating at all. He is completely focused on his training at the moment, to the extent where he denies himself the simplest pleasures, such as television.

Hakain has recently developed a "second personality," which can be described as highly bipolar. For the most part he is quite happy, and content, but at the drop of the hat he is focused on nothing except bringing back the brutality and fear that was once Kirigakure. He is obsessed with bringing back the "glory" of his home, and is willing to go extremes to do so. He does not doubt the strength of the ninja within Kirigakure, but finds tha the village as a whole has grown very weak, and is at risk of being taken over by other villages. This belief is what drives Hakain to push his body harder than any of the other Genin, because he strives to be the village's greatest protector; one of the Seven.

Equipment:

Koroshi is Hakain's primary weapon, having replaced Viper and Cobra, and is kept on his left hip, secured to his hip by his belt. Koroshi's sheath is gun metal blue, as is the tsuba, and the tsuka, while the ito is Eminence Purple. Koroshi's blade is twenty eight inches in length, with an hand and a half hilt, which has a three inch, pyramid style, spike on the pommel.

Viper
Viper was once of Hakain's primary weapon, and has been shifted to his right hip, secured there by his belt. Viper's sheath is pure white, as is the tsuba, and the tsuka, while the ito is pitch black. Viper's blade is pitch black, like the ito, and has small channels in the blade to carry Hakain's poison down the blade from the hollow tsuka. Not only does Viper's tsuka house a vial of Hakain's Snake Bite poison, but Viper's sheath was specially made to house the poison as well, keeping Viper in the poison at all times. Viper's blade is three feet in length, and her hilt is a foot in length.

Cobra
Cobra is the exact opposite of Viper.. Cobra's sheath is pitch black, as is her tsuba and tsuka, yet her ito is pure white. Cobra's blade is pure white, measuring two and a half feet in length, and has small channels in her blade to carry Hakain's Cobra poison down her blade from her tsuka. Not only does Cobra's tsuka house a vial of Hakain's Cobra poison, but Cobra's sheath was specially made to house the poison as well, keeping Cobra in the poison at all times. Cobra's hit is a foot long, and she is kept on his right hip, under his belt, with Viper.

Senbon
Hakain keeps seven Senbon attached to each forearm via forearm holsters, meaning he has fourteen (14) Senbon in total. These holsters are not pouches, but merely black bands that hold the Senbon to his forearms in such a way that he is unable to stab himself with them.

Combat Style:

Hakain uses his knowledge of poisons, kenjutsu, and the Mist element to control the battle field. Having developed his own way to see through his mist, Hakain is never at a loss when it comes to fighting multiple opponents, so long as he is able to create said mist.

Iaido

Iaido Kenjutsu is a sword style originating from the Land of Tea that focuses on the fact that when first drawn, the linear motion and force of pulling a katana from its sheath are able to generate unusually fast slashes. Iaido capitalizes on this, it's samurai equally skilled in close range hand-to-hand fighting and then being able to switch to single fast slashes and stabs before returning to previous combat, making them unpredictable fighters.

History

Kirigakure has always been one of the more crude villages of the great five, to the extent that if you live in the outer ring no one cares whether you live or die. Nor do they care about orphans that live there, or that was what Hakain was always told. Hakain grew up in a run down orphanage, ran by a perverted old woman who would sexually abuse all of the children in her "care." Once he was old enough to think for himself Hakain ran away from the orphanage, as did most children his age. He stole food whenever he could, and dug it out of trash cans when he couldn't, and more often than not went hungry as he tried to feed the children younger than himself first. Hakain was not a saint, nor was he a kind soul, but he knew that the children around him needed the food more than he did, and these deeds caught the eye of an old man that lived in a shack on the very out skirts of the last ring. The old man asked Hakain why he fed the children when it left him hungry, why he took care of people that were to weak to care for themselves. His answer was simple, because he had the skills to do so. Because of this the man took Hakain in, and trained him in the art of Iaido. He taught Hakain how to protect himself, and the children he looked after, from the thugs of the outer ring, and most of all, he taught Hakain to survive.

When Hakain came of age the old man used all of the money he had saved up to send Hakain to the ninja academy, where he would learn of chakra and ninjutsu. When Hakain entered the academy he was made fun of by the rest of the students, a street rat in the academy? It had to be a joke, but the joke was quickly silenced when he impressed his teachers with his work ethic, and his determination to push forward when all of the odds were against him. Hakain was no genius, but he was a hard worker. When he could not do something he trained until he was able to perform it, which applied to his studies as well. Hakain spent many nights in the academy going over books until he was sure that he had learned everything there was to learn about what they had gone over in class that day. Through this constant studying Hakain learned about Iijutsu; a way to mend, and damage the body with not only jutsu, but with potions and poisons. It was then that Hakain became obsessed with poisons, as he knew that they would be his main tool in defending himself and those that he took care of, as well as help him to feed everyone by harvesting edible plants that grew in Kirigakure.

As a Genin Hakain's thirst to learn about Iijutsu and Poisons has only increased, to the extent that he had put his samurai training on hold, though he has begun training his Iaido once more. He is often found scouring the village studying any and every animal that is venomous, or, toxic, trying to learn how to assimilate their poisons into his collection. When not studying plants and animals Hakain is found either training his various techniques, wandering the village blinded by his own jutsu, or, looking for any and all knowledge he can find on the village's history. Having recently decided that he wants to bring back the brutality and fear that was Chigiri, Hakain has begun to train his body in an effort to learn the Silent Homicide fighting style. Due to being an orphan Hakain has no surname, and to correct this he has adopted the name "Kirimura" as his surname, which means Misty Village. He did not only choose the name to show his pride of being a Kirigakure shinobi, but to strike fear in his opponents as he rebuilds the village's bloody reputation
