Username: With a link to your profile. Surname: GentÅ Traits: Known for their rough raven tresses, their is no set hair style among the Aisu. With that said, many members, both male and female, keep their hair cropped short to keep it from hindering them in battle. While the clan is known for their raven hair, it is very common to see the elderly of the clan with hair as white as the snow they are able to create. While their bodies are devoid of any hair, Aisu men are able to grow beards quite easily, though they are usually only seen on retired clan members. Though it is rarely seen in those with dark hair, members of the Aisu clan have eyes that are different hues of blue, and green. Unlike the rest of Kirigakure's inhabitants, the Aisu clan does not simply have a pale complexion. Instead, their lips and finger tips have a light blue-ish purple tint, as if each member of the clan had hypothermia. This trait, coupled with the fact that their bodies are naturally cold to the touch are representations of their control over Hyouton. Upon gaining the rank of Genin young Aisu are presented with a silver snowflake that most members treat as a talisman. For every notable achievement after that the shinobi is gifted with a silver chain link. The size and location of the chain varies between shinobi, some get small intricate links to gradually create a necklace or other ornate jewellery. Typically male Aisu have thicker and heavier links with some senior members wrap it around themselves at ceremonies like a large metallic stole while others attach it to their weapons for luck. Bloodline Limit: Hyouton Through a genetic mutation, members of the Aisu clan are able to simultaneously use the elements of Suiton and Fuuton to create Hyouton, or Ice Release. Capable of manipulating the cold and creating frost, snow, and ice simply through their chakra, the Aisu are a formidable clan capable of turning any amount of water vapor into a powerful weapon. Clan Jutsu: History: Legend states that in order to gain mastery over the element of ice, the first Aisu sold his soul to an Oni demon. With his new power he devastated battlefields, killing all who opposed him with not only his control over ice, but with his physical prowess as well. It was through his feats on the battlefield that many begin to call him a demon, for he seemed untouchable. However, this is a mere legend that the clan has passed through the village over the ages to spread their infamy, not only in the village they call home, but in all the lands. In truth the Aisu clan began with a girl named Amaya. The daughter of a samurai of the Frost country Amaya was expected to be "the perfect wife" for the man her parents had arranged for her to marry, and as such she was trained in everything her family thought a wife should know from an early age. However, as she grew up, Amaya became more interested in the Kenjutsu style her father not only practiced, but taught within their village. Having watched him train many times, she began to train herself in secret whenever she could get time to herself. After years of practice, Amaya was able to hold her own against most any man, but it was not until the night her husband nearly beat her to death that she discovered her Kekkei Genkai. The man was outraged when he caught her practicing her Kenjutsu within thew woods behind their house, and as he beat her she prayed to her gods for help, and as she screamed out in pain, huge spikes of ice erupted from the ground around her, impaling her husband. Scared out of her mind, Amaya gather only that which she could carry without any real hindrance, and fled into the woods. Resolving to leave Frost country and never look back, she made her way to the one place she knew no one would dare follow; The Narrow. She knew enough of the land to know that if she could make it through the narrow, she would be able to escape into the land of lightning. During her journey through the mountain pass, the cold finally got to her, and she collapsed into the snow, believing she would surely die there. When she awoke within a cave she very nearly screamed with shock, for not only was there a pack of wolves surrounding her, but laying across her as well. It was then that she slowly began to realize how she had survived; the wolves had saved her by using their fur and body heat to keep her warm. She had no explanation as to why the wolves had saved her, but the longer she spent with them, the less she cared. At first the wolves would not allow her to leave the cave they lived in, but after weeks of living with them, eating only the scraps of meat they brought her from their kills, they let her leave, though at least two wolves stayed with her at all times. As she began exploring the land around her new home she realized why the wolves had kept her in the cave; it was the worst possible time of year for her to be in the narrow. The longer she lived with the wolves the more they came to trust each other, until she began to learn to hunt with them. She fashioned weapons out of whatever she could find, and learned to track as flawlessly as the wolves she had come to call her family. During the three years she spent living with the wolves she learned to control the power that had saved her life that fateful night. With her mastery over the Hyouton element, Amaya thrived within the Narrow in ways no person ever had. It was because of this power that the wolves deemed her fit to lead the pack, and lead the pack she did, until the prey they hunted for food migrated out of their home. In an effort to follow their prey, Amaya and her family of wolves left the narrow for good, tracking their main source of food through the hot springs country, and ever the fire country. During her travels, Amaya began interacting with humans more and more, and was astonished that she had almost forgotten how to communicate with them. Whenever she spoke it was more of a guttural language, that sounded more like snarls and growls than actual words. However, the more she reintegrated into society, the easier it became for her to appear as a "normal" traveler, for her pack never followed her into the villages she visited. It was not until she decided to travel to the water country that she parted ways with her new family for good. She had wanted to take them with her, but the wolves had refused to get on the boat, and so the next chapter of her life began. Finally arriving in the water country, Amaya was astounded to find that there were ninja controlling the country. Not only that, but when they found out about her mastery over ice they brought her into their fold, and taught her to use her powers in ways she never thought possible. While she was able to refine her control over the Hyouton element, the ways she learned to hunt, and fight, from the wolves never left her. She was fierce in battle, and the loyalty of her pack had transitioned to the village she now considered her family. Amaya felt like the village of Kirigakure was her new pack because, like the wolves, the village had taken her in as one of their own, and taught her everything she needed to know to not only survive in their world, but to dominate it. As she rose to fame in the village, she picked her mate out of dozens of warriors she deemed worthy, and settled down just long enough to raise three children. Once she deemed them old enough, she trained them in all of the ways she had learned to fight, including that which she learned from the wolves. The children, two girls and a boy, had been gifted, like their mother, with the power to control Hyouton. And through the decades the traditions the Amaya had set forth evolved into a culture that has led to the Aisu being known as one of the most ruthless clans in the world.[/big] Edited by Garasu, Jan 24 2015, 11:07 PM.
