Sliding door to be replaced with large window (double or triple glazed) with external roll-down security shutter. Chairs and about three to four tables near kitchen area. Pool table (opposite corner to kitchen) with racks and shelves for cues and balls.Specific lighting for table. Loft above entire club room, with all usable space boarded. Lighting in ceiling (tiled)- attractive and adjustable, to create an intimate atmosphere if required. Some walls dry- lined, plastered and painted others to remain stone. Hatchway/Kitchen serving counter with shutter if required. Multiple power points. Casual chairs and sofas (make sure they are comfortable ). One or two coffee tables. i agree with most of what you are saying there Peter, except for the closing in of the roof space, i feel the roof as it is atm provide a open airy atmosphere, where if box it in, it can feel very close and small. you can see this in our range if the curtains are shut, or pinhoe all the time. ok not so much at Long Ashdon but then they have large windows. the envorimant of the ranges is enclosed for obvious reasons, but lets not close in the areas that don't have to be. the second point is the automatic doors, not needed internally. a simple push door or doors would suit better. |
