Coombsie mentioned this to me a few weeks ago and I thought it was quite a good idea.

It seems that Melbury is on a very popular cyclist route. Mike mentioned that maybe in time we could offer our facilities ( when were there ) to these chaps as a halfway /rest area. A place where they could stop, rest a while, purchase a drink or even take a pee and poo. Any thoughts on this?

Caution!!!
In principle it could be an earner but having experienced the way the cycling club that uses the A377 on Thursday night, Saturday and Sunday, take over the roads and the Community centre in Chulmleigh, it is always to the exclusion of any other uses of the facility and access roads. The roads are blocked with cars and trailers and groups of cyclist's chattering and milling around.
If it can be done on a none shooting day, great.
If its casual holiday makers bimbling around and need a personal needs break when the club is open that should not be a problem. Need to control access to firing areas.
